A full refund has been submitted to [redacted]. A total of $30 will be credited back onto her Visa card within 3-5 business days. With this $30 and the previous $45 she was refunded, we believe her concerns have been addressed since she has been refunded the full price of the order.

This client contacted our customer service via chat on 5/24/17 with questions regarding pricing on his order. The representative advised that she was not able to see the fees until the order was placed, as HomeWiseDocs is not in control of any of the charged fees. All fees are set by the respective...

management companies and are in accordance with the [redacted] Development Act that governs common interest developments in California. See: Civil Code §§ 1351-1378.  HomeWiseDocs acts solely as an intermediary between the escrow agent/lender and the community management company to transfer the requisite documents, similar to a FedEx or other courier.   On May 25 the client sent an email to inquire why his HOA was using our service and further question the fees associated with the documents he needed to order.  HomeWiseDocs Customer Support advised the client that the fees being charged were kept as low as possible but were established by the community management companies who assume a high degree of liability for the information involved in the transaction.   It should be noted that this customer has listed the purchase price at $1,000 and a disputed amount at $1,000, however his order remains unpaid in the HomeWiseDocs system in the amount of $595. This price is the price set by his management company and we reiterate that HomeWiseDocs is merely acting as an electronic document courier on behalf of the customer and management company.   HomeWiseDocs absolutely cares about every customer and the Customer Support Representatives do everything possible to meet the needs of all customers in a friendly, efficient and thorough manner.  Tell us why here...

The requester will receive their full $75 refund. We will work with the community management company to update the description of the litigation document so that it is clearer that it is an application.

This complaint is not valid. The order was placed on 6/25. The requester did not use rush and was not required to as there is no rush fee if order is placed within 10 days. Actual completion date was actually...

ahead of expected completion date and no rush was required. The order was placed on 6/25/2015 and completed on 6/29/2015 ahead of the Expected Completion date of 7/10/2015. The community management company met is committed time frame.

$340 charge for a set of CCRs on a condominium project. Outrageous! Not only that but buyer has no control over process as lender/title company simply orders at the ridiculous price and passes through to Buyer. This is the type of thing that RESPA was supposed to protect against.

In order to obtain the requested document from our website the fee must be paid upfront. Once the fee is paid the processing begins. The order was placed and paid for on 12/06/15 and the order was completed on 12/10/15 at 8:16 am. All of the...

above listed information was disclosed to Capital Funding Mortgage during the actual ordering process and agreed to by them prior to fully submitting the order. The home owner [redacted] contacted HomeWiseDocs on 12/2/15 and the process was explained to her in great detail. Ms. [redacted] also contacted HomeWiseDocs on 12/7/15 requesting to speak with the manager. I called Ms. [redacted] and left a very detailed message for her on 12/7/15 at 2:53pm with my direct contact information to return my call. I also contacted the Mortgage Company whom placed the order and left a very detailed message with my direct contact information since I was unable to reach the homeowner. I again contacted the Home Owner and the Mortgage Company the following day leaving another detailed message with my contact information for both of them. Neither party returned any of my four voicemails. The documents needed to refinance a home do have a cost and that fee must be paid to obtain the documentation. This particular document requires excessive processing from multiple parties and is sent through quality control as the information needed must be current and correct for the loan processor to approve or deny the loan. HomeWiseDocs did everything possible and adequately to assist this customer correctly and in a timely manner.
