Business refusing to communicate or process request for cancellation
on 12/26/19, I expressed interest in the VIP Platinum Package to the sales person and provided them my credit card information. I was informed that I will be receiving documents via email for further action. Shortly after the call, I received and reviewed the documents sent. Due to multiple discrepancies between what was relayed to me over the phone and what was provided in writing, I did not sign the purchase contract and immediately contacted the business, all within two to three hours after the initial call on 12/26/19. After numerous calls, *** answered my call and I explained to her the situation. She informed me that she will transfer the call to the manager. The call went straight to voicemail. I called again and spoke with ***, who informed me that the call had dropped and they were in the process of calling me back. However, I had to reexplain the situation to him. I ultimately informed *** that I will not be signing the contact and will be cancelling. He stated all purchases are non-refundable, but he will advise his managers and someone will call me later after doing due diligence. I would like to point out that 1. Under Terms of Service in the Terms of Purchase section, it specifically states the following "no refunds are rewarded after 7 business days" and 2. the purchase not being refundable was never mentioned during the call, and 3. no contract was ever signed authorizing the purchase.
After my phone calls with the business on 12/26/19, I received an email from the customer service department welcoming me to the club, stating attached in the email are the contract and invoice - of course, no contract or invoice is attached. I again called the customer service line and spoke with a woman who stated that she will need to connect me to the marketing department as they are the only ones who can process cancellations. I explained to her that I had already called yesterday for cancellation, but still received the email welcoming me to their club. She transferred my call, but no one picked up. It went straight to voicemail. I called again and this time, an automated recording came on to call between normal business hours. According to their hours of operation, my call was still within their hours of operations. The business appears to be going through extreme measures to interfere with the consumers right for cancellation - which is notated on their website. The business does not appear to be transparent or operating with integrity.

Desired Outcome

Email confirmation from the business acknowleding the cancellation and that no charges will be made to the credit card number provided.

The website also mentions under FAQs, "After I purchase my vacation do I receive any documents" that a credit card authorization form will be sent and must be returned.

We are unsure why someone purchases to refund. We are still working to see if we are able to refund this guest.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
What was presented over the phone was immensely different from what was on the contract. No funds should have been taken prior to obtaining a signed contract authorizing the charge. Everyone should have a right to review all terms and conditions prior to entering into an agreement. The terms of purchase listed on the Honor Rewards Resorts (HRR) website specifically indicates a refund window of seven (7) business days. I called HRR for cancellation within 2-3 hours of receiving their written terms and conditions via email for signature. On 01/02/20, while still within their 7 business day refund window, I received written response from HRR that they are in receipt of my notice for cancellation. As such they should refund me. Additionally, if HRR advertises a 100% satisfaction guarantee on their website, they should ensure all customers are satisfied and refund the $535.00 that they charged.

Customer Response • Jan 17, 2020

The business' response was to refer to last post, which is that they are still working to see if they can refund me. I do I follow up with this? I don't understand why they need to see if they can refund me when I am entitled to a refund, according to their terms of purchase posted on their website. Am I able to file a new complaint on this issue? I am at wits' end as this has been a mentally draining emotional roller coaster. Since my initial attempt to resolve this issue with the business, and after filing my initial complaint with the Revdex.com, the business has failed to take my calls, have hung up on me numerous times, and failed to contact me at a later time, as promised. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide.

Very Respectfully

The business' response "unable to assist this guest-until complaint is resolved" is just unacceptable. The business has not made any attempt to resolve my complaint, since day one.

Honor Rewards Resorts Response • Feb 10, 2020

The guest has been refunded the amount we are not sure why the guest is still complaining

Signed a contract with HonorRewardsResorts with reservation request to be completed in 1 week. NO REPLY IN 2 PLUS WEEKS. 20 CALLS BY ME.. 0 RELIES.
Sign contract with HonorRewardsResorts ("The Company") with salesman *** on 9/10/2019. Had health issues so was no able to firm up a date for the first trip.
However, in early December 2019 I tried to get the company to send a request form to me for about a week. On 12/12/2019 I finally was able to talk with a person who said his name was ***. A request for reservation was sent by me for the Beach Club resort. I emailed and faxed the completed reservation request back to the company on 12/12/2019. I was trying to firm up the time so I could provide dates for others I was to visit on trip. Since 12/12/19 I have only been able to talk with a phone receptionist. Have called 20 plus times and never was able to speak with anyone except the receptionist. Contract says it may take up to 7 days to confirm reservations. It is now two plus weeks and cannot get any response at all.
I have copy of contract and reservation request submitted on 12/12/2019.
On most of the calls I placed to the company I was told almost every time that I would get a call back by the end of the day. Not once did this happen. I cannot get past the receptionist to talk with anyone.
The contract also says that any false information given will be treated as fraud. Information given me has been misrepresented and false numerous times and per the contract is considered fraud. I want the reservations made or a full refund for violation of contract.

Desired Outcome

Reservation to be completed and confirmed by resort in my name and not be canceled by Honor Rewards Resorts. The upgrade to be paid by me directly to resort. This prevents and issues of taking additional monies and not responding. If they are not able to make the reservation then a full refund of $435.00 will be made to me within 12 business days. Should they not be able to do either of these items then all Attorney fees of both parties will be paid by HonorRewardsResorts and or officers of this company.

We have sent over the vacation request on 12/13/2019. The resort has the reservation on hold as the resort the guest request which is BEACHHOUSE sent us over a notification is which we also sent the guest once we received the notification. It states" too soon to book. Only booking til 4/2020 now."
Assuming guest understood that the email says they are only booking until 04/2020 - Which means they are going to confirm Jan - April 2020 dates and than will confirm dates for May 17, 2020. This guest is not traveling next week or tomorrow or next month even. The guest is traveling in FOUR MONTHs our policy is 60 - 90 days booking advance notice because we know our resorts we offer do not confirm, until that time - We have attached our booking terms sent to guest also. The guest also owes $199.00 as stated on our website The guest hasnt called to pay only calls to complain about confirmation. The guest pay the upgrade fee to get confirmed. The invoice for the $199 upgrade fee to visit the property has not been sent to us by the resort because THEY ARE NOT CONFIRMING MAY DATES as of yet. If the guest doesnt believe us or has an issue and in such dyer need for confirmation; instead of complaining to the Revdex.com why not just call the resort and find out why they are not confirming for May 2020 as of yet. See all attached. If not resolved we will cancel guest stay and file a lawsuit as we have paid the resort for the guest travel and we do not received refunds or credit from the resort if guest cancels their stay.

This is a distorted reply as to their contract I received from HonorRewardsResort specifically states that reservations must be submitted a MINIMUM OF 60 DAYS IN ADVANCE AND IN SOME CASES 90 DAYS IN ADVANCE. No where does it say that it will be 60 days or less. So this is a fabrication and totally misleading to me. I have been traveling most of my life and never have a seen this mis-represented. But something this important should have been made very clear to customers. Planning airfare and arrangements with other people makes it very difficult. But the biggest issue is that they did not communicate. They violated the 7 day clause to get a reservation information for clients. Even if they had called and explained it much of the issues could have been prevented. But as I said 20 plus phone calls and never received a call. Just a short email about delay received almost 3 weeks after making a reservation. I call the reservation desk and they said they were taking reservations. And a check they sent in this far in advance I'm sure is avail referencing my stay and is available to show me. And why would I give them more money of a reservation that is not confirmed and can be cancelled. No where in the contract does it say a payment for a potential reservation which has not been confirmed should be paid when they have such a history of no communications.

To resolve this issue, I propose the following. Cancel the reservation with The Beach Club on Hilton Island. Cancel terms are 20 days per contract and remake a reservation for the same dates at the Park Lane Suites on Hilton head. No service, handling or any kind of other fee will be charged for any part of this change in reservation. No exceptions... There is no upgrade for this hotel suite and this should resolve the issue. If this simple task is done then we both can move on.

Honor Rewards Resorts Response • Jan 20, 2020

Same response as last time - if such a rush for confirmation in which we do not have because as stated in previous emails sent to guest - CALL THE RESORT FOR CONFIRMATION IF UNSATISFIED WITH HOW LONG THEY ARE TAKING TO GIVE CONFIRMATION TO US!

Customer Response • Jan 30, 2020

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I refuse their response for the following reasons.
I am a well-traveled person both for business and pleasure. In discussion before the contract with the sales person *** no restrictions were stated except what was in the contract.

If you are traveling to a resort area especially by plane or car you need lead time to coordinate your travel plans including stay dates to fit with other plans you may make on a cruise etc.
You need to match your other scheduled parts of the trip. This trip s coordinated with visiting other places and scheduled times to meet other traveling people.
The contract states that customer must give a MINIMUM of 60 days to schedule the stay.
I must be in this area at least approximately these dates. No time was I told or stated in the contract that they could not even begin to work on the reservation in such a limited time before my requested stay.
So what have they committed to? Nothing. So it may be only 30, 45 or 60 days before I even know if I can get a reservation in this time frame. So if the dates I requested are not available then they can charge me fees for having to change my plans.
I have been on trips that require VIP tours etc but never with such restrictions. How and when will I be guaranteed that I will have a reservation approximately in the time frame I have requested.
I want to be in Hilton Head on approximately those dates. So I propose the following.
First start talking with me and ignoring all my calls.
I want to be in Hilton Head in the time frame requested. Get me into one of the resorts in Hilton head and it does not need to be the premium upgrade resort.

Because of all the issues to date and with no firm commitment I am worried that giving another upgrade fee without no confirmation could be additional waste of money. So I have sent them a email and fax a few weeks ago suggesting other resorts they show on the website that do not have a premium. Or let me pay the premium within 48 hours of a confirmed booking at the premium resort. Probably the best is to get me into a non premium resort which resolves the premium payment. But most of all they need to set me up with a contact person who has management responsibility and who can work with me to get this resolved. If they are not willing to work with me then give back my money I paid for 2 stays at their resorts.

Honor Rewards Resorts Response • Feb 04, 2020

Our policy clearly states no more than 6 months - however our director has cancelled the vacation and sent letters out to all resorts and affiliates warning them that the guest does not follow terms of offers and causes more problems than good. He has been refunded and blacklisted from all vacation offers.

Company represented itself as a Hilton Honors Rewards company & sold a vacation for $400. No information from company yet and not affiliated w/ Hilton
Purchase Date: 12/17/19
Presented itself as a Hilton Company, not affiliated with Hilton Honors at all. Was supposed to send email with details on the trip, haven't received anything. Only gave website address, which proved they weren't part of Hilton, but the representative would only provide the website at the end of the call. Credit Card was charged $400. Can't reach anyone at the customer service number to get a refund.

Desired Outcome

I want my money refunded since this is an apparent scam since they misrepresented themselves as a Hilton company.

This a request not a complaint guest bought on same day of complaint no emails or phone records indicating guest ever called - we will not be able to assist guest further until the complaint is resolved and guest calls or emails us to request a refund

Mis-leading sales practices inferring that they were related to Hilton Hotels. Asked for Refund and no answer from company
9-Dec I was called by a person who indicated that he was offering vacation packages. This person asked me about my latest Hilton Club visit and inferred that he was offering me another Hilton package as a VIP Member. I accepted the offer and in 30 minutes received the email confirmation only to find out this was NOT Hilton and was some company called Honors Rewards Resorts. I called within 30 minutes of the initial call and was told that they would refer it to finance. Of course over 3 straight days I spoke with finance who indicated that they were reviewing and now I get no reply back at all. Basically this is a scam using Hilton as the bait. Going to HRR's website I notice that the pictures of the 3 hotels in Cabo are all the same fake pool picture. I am looking for a simple refund as I am a disgruntled client who was lied to. Buyer beware is the case here. I will continue to pursue my refund

Desired Outcome

I am looking for a simple refund since what was sold to me was not what was advertised.

Guest was aware and we have sent all information to his CC as fraud along with recording of the call.
This guest was told each resort and after each one read off to him off of our website by the representative the guest would reply "Oh yea I like that one I know which one that is" That was in regards to ***. Please see recording of call attached. The guest has been approved for a refund as our director stated he will not be able to book a liar and a guest committing fraud as he may try to do something at the resort and get over with them as well. Please see recorsding:

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The whole issue is that they played off my Hilton (reputable company) relationship - asking me how my earlier trips were - so in essence they inferred that they were representing Hilton, and they are not. Once I believed it was the Hilton, then I am on the hook since I respect that company and of course would travel with them again. This is plain and simple mis-representation deception. Buyer beware - I will of course be fine. But I want to make sure that people that go to Revdex.com first, which I should have since there are many more similar complaints against this company, and hopefully read my account and others. What a scam. Last, if a client calls 30 minutes after receiving details in an email and finding out that the company is not who the client thought it was - any reputable / honest company would simple refund the money. But Honors Rewards is NOT a company that respects their clients. Buyer beware - Scam

I would like to Close this officially with Resolved status - can I do that?

The company claims they are Hilton to get you to buy a vacation package because you previously traveled with them, this is a scam.
Company called on 12/12 and stated that because I traveled with Hilton before I was selected for a VIP holiday package. I said I wasn't interested and he kept lowering the price and said "this is cheaper than the last time you stayed with us in Vegas". Company is Honor Rewards program and Hilton's rewards program is Hilton Honors, however they aren't affiliated and the resorts aren't Hilton owed. After purchasing I went to Hilton Honors while I was waiting on the email and there was nothing about this program or the locations they were offering. Found the website for this scam and realized I had been duped. They never tell you its not refundable, send a Docusign over after they charge your card which contains the non-refundable clause. I called on 12/12 and they said, well sir we didn't tell you we are Hilton and we'll go listen to the call and get back to you. First of all they didn't tell me the call would be recorded and for my state which is two party consent this is illegal.

The next day I had called back and they said they would get back to me. Received a call and it was a different sales person trying to sell me the same thing. The first words were "Hello ***, because you traveled with Hilton before we would like to offer you a VIP package.". I proceeded to tell her I had ordered yesterday under the presumption they were Hilton and i'm still waiting for a call back to get a refund. She told me to call customer service. Called and finally got ahold of someone in the finance department who told me its non-refundable. Told me they are not Hilton and are associated via RCI and some parent company which I find zero evidence of on their website. I told him I will be disputing this with my credit card company and he said go ahead and we will give them the recording. Horrible, misleading business practices at best and complete scam at worst.

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund and to never be called again.

This company should not exist with business practices like this, they clearly didn't even read my response. I stated I went to Hilton Honors first to find my confirmation and couldn't find anything and searched Honor Rewards and found this companies website which has no link to Hilton. I haven't signed the docusign document and will not as it contains clauses I didn't agree to over the phone. I'm still waiting on a refund.

The response from Honors Rewards Resort is not true. I did make an attempt to dispute the charges, due to
misrepresentation . They indicated there were Hilton Hotels. I was not successful with this dispute and my Chase Credit
card was re-billed *** on May 22nd , 2019. I have spoken with my credit card company today. They are re-sending me the documentation

I reviewed the list again and didn't feel comfortable and requested a refund again and they tried to pressure me that since I reviewed the information I couldn't ask for a refund. I haven't heard from this company and after losing *** I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize. If they have attempted to call me they didn't leave a message. Again, after losing my money I can't and won't take a chance of losing another dollar to a scam. As matter of fact I haven't even told my spouse what transpired because it will only create full blown argument as to why I would let somebody scam us out of money we cannot afford to lose. Personally, there's nothing I want from them other than my money returned and again I haven't heard from them because I'm never answering calls from numbers I haven't called or recognize. If they're not giving me a refund we have nothing to talk about and I can't tell you how painful and hurtful I feel for getting scammed.

I spoke to my sales rep, *** , and sold me a family package that I cannot use due to the fact that resort doesnt allow teens. And he knew of it.
I was SOLD a family package that I CANNOT USE , due to the fact that I have Teens, Evan *** sales rep knew about it and he lied on a recorded line. Ghis happen on 10/24/2019.CUSTOMER ***XXX, Amount $400 through a credit card.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund as I cannot travel to the destination I was sold due to the fact that I have teens.

Honor Rewards Resorts Response • Nov 14, 2019

We have a recorded line as well with guest authorizing and agreeing to purchase WHICH STATES: the guest is able to travel with teenagers up to 17 years old in COsta Rica, Bahamas, Grand Cayman Islands and USA, if the guest is looking to travel with teenagers to Dominican Republic and Mexico the fee to add the teenagers on is $99.00 per night per person.. No where was stated he could not travel. NOW if guest doesnt want to pay to travel to Mexico and Dominican Republic that is finanical issue with guest and there are alternative locations to travel where fees are not due. We are unsure of the scam the guest is trying to do, but he was told he can travel with his teens and other adults if wishes.. See attached as this also explained in his terms and conditions.

My dad bought two vacation packages as gifts for my sister and I. I tried to call to make a reservation and after trying to call several times a day for weeks, I get someone on the phone. They SAY they'll email you a form for a reservation and it's a generic excel sheet where you fill in your info. After another (I have proof) 20+ calls, I get someone and give them my card number so they can charge ANOTHER $200 as a "holiday fee". I was told I'd be given a confirmation number a week and a half ago and never heard from anyone. Again.
I got someone today after calling 3-4 times, and she told me she'd have someone call me back within an hour and gave me her extension and apologized for the inconvenience. I call back this afternoon, 4 hours past the window I was promised a call back, and the phone goes to voicemail...?!?
I just want a refund for myself, as well as my father who was tricked into this scam at this point. It is WELL beyond the point of reason that I should have to make hundreds of calls to make a vacation reservation.
These people put "honor" in their name so it tricks people into thinking they're related to Hilton honors, and scam unsuspecting naive people.
Their business hours are listed as 10am-6pm eastern but if you call anywhere before noon and after like 430, you get hold music for 20 minutes.
For reference in my screen shot, their number that I called 12 times in one day, is XXX-XXX-XXXX

Desired Outcome

I would like a full refund for the package my father was pressured into buying and a full refund for my "holiday fee" I paid for, which was for a reservation I have no evidence of them ever making. Invoice for original purchase HRRXXXXXX

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept the response. I am frustrated because every time I try to contact the business, I have to call 8-10 times before I get anyone on the phone, and never within an hour of when they open or close. When I've been told I would receive a call back or an email, no response is given after several DAYS.
I was told two weeks ago I was confirmed for the Silver Lake resort, and that the resort had tried to call and email me with a confirmation. No email or phone call from any resorts. Fast forward to this Wednesday, I try to call again and was told I'd be called back within an hour, because a reservation specialist was busy in the phone. Four hours later, no call. I tried to call their line again and get a forward to voicemail?!?
Then a few hours later I call back and get a real human on the line again. I was told I'm confirmed for a DIFFERENT resort than I was originally told, and that the resort Has tried time call and email me. No calls.
The response to this complaint is the FIRST TIME I have ever seen a confirmation letter from anyone about anything. I've been trying to book with these people for two months and it takes a complaint to the Revdex.com to get a response?
This business is a complete scam, and they lie. The only time they've talked to my father about anything is when they sold him the package. Not once would he ever need to apologize for me.
I also am not sure why I am still confirmed for a reservation when I asked to be cancelled and refunded, and my father has tried to call them several times as well asking for a refund.

I can provide a timeline of the number of times I have tried to call this business, as well when I have actually gotten someone on the phone. The amount of time it has taken to book a vacation is completely unacceptable when I would have been done in ten seconds if I booked something online.

Honor Rewards Resorts Response • Nov 14, 2019

We have spoken to the actual guest that purchased the vacation. She is not a guest of ours now that her vacation is cancelled.

Customer Response • Nov 20, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I am still a "customer" of this business since I have not received said refund, nor any official notice of cancellation. This business is trying to brush everything off and ignore complaints as well as any sort of communication, and this official complaint has been the most i've ever heard from them. It has not spurred action, though!

The company deceitfully made me believe they belonged to Hilton Honors and that I was being extended another opportunity to experience their services
My complaint is similar to a couple of others. I received a call from Honors Rewards Resorts. Since we are Hilton Rewards, I immediately thought it was Hilton. After a while during our conversation he corrected me. I was told my wife and I would receive 2 vacations, at any time we choose, for 5 days and 4 nights to pretty much anywhere in the U.S. and the world which we were able to book within 3 years. I hesitated several times and he came down from around $500 including taxes and travel from the airport if we chose Mexico or Costa Rica. After his sales talk on how many places we could stay and how easy it was to book, basically any RCI resort. He said we would get an e-mail with a contract and a description and explanation of everything. The document had endless stipulations that were costly and totally different from description and impressions presented in our conversation. I tried calling them that evening and received a recording to leave a voice Mail. I did not receive a call back the next morning. It took me around two hours get an answer. Finally, I talked with ***, who according to office answer, was the manager. I told him my concerns, having make reservations at lease 60 days in advance, stipulations regarding fees, etc. But it was in their contract which I immediately refused to sign. He said he would e-mail me back today but to look at their web and see all their resorts, many with videos. What a disappointment! No e-mail back from him. I called him back and informed him as to why my request for my refund. He said they don't give refunds. I had not signed the doc-u-sign. He said he would have to check with the financial department. I have not heard back and tried to call them over a half dozen times.

Desired Outcome

I would like to either get what I was promised a booking with two separate rooms or a full refund.

Honor Rewards Resorts Response • Nov 14, 2019

We have waited for the guest to pay the additional nights for travel for months now... He purchased 5 days & 4 nights and in order to confirm travel this guest needs to pay additional nights. Additional nights are not FREE for all inclusive locations. Once he pays he can receive confirmation for the vacation requested from 12/01/2019 to 12/08/2019. Cannot book if there is no money to book it with!

Customer Response • Nov 21, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The issue is not paying the additional nights. The issue is representing yourself as a HILTON brand and you are not affiliated with Hilton. Also there is misrepresentation regarding what package I agreed to. I was told I would get a call back and still have not. I do not want to submit my forms online I want to speak to a representative. They keep avoiding my calls.

I told the representative over the phone I refused and did not sign the contract after reading the terms and getting a different explanation.

I believe this business is a scam. I purchased a vacation package that they only told me was non-refundable after the fact.
I purchased a vacation package on Oct. 29, 2019 - two trips for $500. The sales rep did not tell me it was non-refundable, not did they read a script. In fact, the sales agent lied and said no type of sales presentation was involved with the acquisition of the package. When I asked if he was going to read the contract to me before we made the transaction, he told me that all of that information would be provided after the call via email and that I would have an opportunity to look over it then. Mind you, all the time I was talking to these people, I thought they were Hilton Honors since somehow they knew about a previous trip I had taken through Hilton.

The next day (10/30), I was sent an e-document to sign, and as I was reading over the document, I noticed that it mentioned that I was required to take a tour of whichever facilities I'd be staying in on the vacations. That was never mentioned to me over the phone, so I immediately called the Honor Rewards Resorts and requested a refund. I was then told that only the "Marketing Department" could handle such requests, so I requested to speak with management. That's when the customer service agent transferred me to management who was not available, so I left a voicemail, which said I would get a call back within the hour. I did not get a call back, so I called probably 5 or 6 more times and spoke with the rudest and most unprofessional customer service agents I have ever encountered. Both of them transferred me to "management" and I left a voice message each time, but never got a call back as was promised. That's when I knew there was a problem.

After leaving 2 or 3 more messages with management, I decided to try again the next day. By this point, I had spoken with *** (Ext. 712) so many times that she knew me by voice and name (Note: I don't know that *** is actually her real name). Finally, on Oct 31, I finally got to speak with management. The gentleman's name was*** (Ext. 707), or at least that's what he said his name was. He referred to himself as the Senior Executive of Daily Operations and Reservations. . *** told me that they had listened to my phone recording and that the sales script was read to me verbatim; therefore, no refund would be provided. Knowing this was a lie, I told him I was going to dispute the charge through my credit card company to which he responded, "If you do that, the credit card company will hear the recording and drop the case." That's when I asked him to send me the recording. He said he would, but never did.

Thankfully, Wells Fargo is great about following up on disputes. Later that evening, I got a message from them saying they had launched an investigation to reclaim my money. Then, what do you know, this morning (11/01), I received a cancellation notice from this so-called business (Honor Rewards Resorts).

So I called the business back because I still wanted to hear my recording. Again, the customer service agent was rude and immediately forwarded me to management because she recognized who I was. It was *** again. But I was sent to voice mail. Finally, after I kept calling back-to-back 9 or 10 times, I was patched through to someone named Kevin (who sounded suspiciously identical to ***. I told *** I wanted my recording sent to me, and he responded by saying I was no longer a customer of theirs since my refund was provided so there was no reason for me to hear the recording.

I told him I wanted to hear it to prove that they were liars. Then he proceeded to tell me it was only $500 that I was making a fuss about. I hung up the phone and filed this complaint.

Revdex.com, please take heed. This business is not just a bad one; it is a SCAM. There is no way that this is a legitimate business, and it needs to be shut down.

Desired Outcome

I want this business placed on a Scam list. I also want to know the source of their call list. How did they get it? Which business sold it to them? I want my name removed from their call list, and I want to know the contact information of someone (a CEO, Vice President, executive leader, etc.) whom legal representatives can contact to subpoena recordings and/or transcripts of sales conversations. I also believe Hilton Honors should be made aware of them and that another business is possibly ruining their good name with its negligence and skulduggery. This business is so unethical, it must be stopped before too much damage is done. Also, please place me or someone else in contact with the media, so we can put people on high alert of this scam.

Honor Rewards Resorts Response • Nov 02, 2019

This complaint is completely unnecessary as the guest requested a refund with in the refund policy and the guest received refund 11/01/2019. All record of guest information and card info and all other information relating to the guests Purchase has been cancelled. This guest as basically harassed us since the refund. The client is no longer our client as all monies have been returned.

Customer Response • Nov 05, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I do not accept the response because my objective is to hold the business accountable. The business operates unethically, and someone must take steps to ensure they are less likely to do harm to other consumers moving forward.

My money was refunded only when I proceeded to file a dispute with my credit card company. Before that, I was told that the money was nonrefundable and that I would be provided with a recording of my conversation that proved I had agreed to all stipulations associated with my purchase. Now, the business expects all matters to be dropped simply because they allegedly refunded my money when their feet were held to the fire and I called them on their bluff.

To be clear, the money has not actually been refunded, and I have not even received any documentation stating that the refund has been issued, only a cancelled e-document that I never signed to begin with. I don't know why this business would expect me to take their word for it when its employees have already proven themselves to be liars.

I still want the recording that was promised to me and I want the contact information of an executive leader or HR representative to which a letter or legal documentation (if necessary) can be sent. In addition, I want a written statement declaring that my contact information has been removed from their call list. Similarly, I want to know how they retrieved my contact information to begin with and how they knew of previous trips I had taken as a Hilton Honors member. Finally, it is critical that Hilton Honors knows about this "business" and how easy it is for consumers to confuse it with the established Hilton Honors brand. That way, Hilton can take necessary legal action if they so choose.

When people spend their hard-earned money and have to endure poor customer service, be lied to, and told that their money is nonrefundable, that is NOT OK. As I stated before, this business must be stopped before it is too late.

I would also like the business to provide evidence that I have harassed them since that is now what they are claiming in their response. If they read my full complaint, they have the opportunity to refute or prove false any of the facts I presented therein. A customer confronting a business and holding them accountable is hardly harassment. Again, such a claim is a sign that they do not know that businesses are to serve customers, not the other way around.

I am appalled at the way this organization operates and will not be satisfied until they release an apology in which they admit their wrongdoing and pledge to operate ethically moving forward (in addition to the aforementioned requests made in this written statement).

THANK YOU Revdex.com for the service you offer. Had I only checked your site before engaging with the business, I could have saved myself a lot of time and headaches.

Honor Rewards Resorts Response • Nov 14, 2019

This guest has been refunded and we will file suit regarding harassment if this person continues. What more can we do if the money has been returned.

This company is complete scam. They call you giving you the impression they are part of hilton honors rewards by quoting your last stay with hilton.
This company called me and quoted my last vacation stay with hilton grand vacations, and told me their name is honors rewards, knowing that they will trick people into thinking they are part of hilton honors. When I asked if they were associated with hilton honors, the sales rep made the mistake of saying yes. They also stated that you are able to stay in an of the diamond locations, which is complete BS because they are not affiliated with any hotel chains and there is no "diamond level" with these guys. After researching their website when they sent the contract over, it was clear I was tricked by a fraudulent company.

Seeing the contract, there were some discrepancies vs. the details described to me over the phone, so I called the company back and they blindly updated everything to whatever I asked for making it clear that cost of the travel package was of no concern to them as they turned out the updated contract quickly to try and get me to sign it... they clearly never intend to send you on a vacation anyways as its all a phone scam.

This company is as fraudulent as it gets and they must've bought off or downloaded a contact list from hilton grand vacations to target cold call sales. I have called multiple times asking for a refund and have disputed the transaction with my credit card company. I hope that this company gets shutdown for their fraudulent activities quickly, as clearly it's a workable scam.

The "sales rep" also made the mistake of never informing me that the charge was non-refundable, but it was hidden in small text on the contract I never signed.

Desired Outcome

I want a full refund of the 435 dollars I paid.

Honor Rewards Resorts Response • Oct 31, 2019

This is not a complaint this is a request. We could have done this by phone with the representative. This is not the way to get a refund and will not be able to assist until this review is resolved or removed since it is a request and the guest call in to request the refund with the marketing department.

Customer Response • Oct 31, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have called 4x asking for a callback for a refund with no one calling me back of course because this is a scam. I will call 2 more times tomorrow for an attempt for my refund. Clearly this company just wants me to remove my complaint. And yes it is a complaint for fraud like sales tactics and straight over the phone misleading trickery.

Customer Response • Nov 04, 2019

complaint can be closed

I was sold a vacation package that I've been unable to use because of the restrictions that apply and I was not made aware of this prior to purchasing
My complaint appears to be very similar to others here. On 4/16/19 I received a call from Honors Rewards Resorts looking to sell vacation packages. I had some interest to hear what was being offered because my wife and I had been discussing going on another trip with our friends (another married couple - for a total of 4 people). The salesman and I discussed all the different options/resorts and after quickly reviewing the options, I told him that I really only had interest if my friends could get the same package because we had been thinking about going on another trip together. I was only interested in the all-inclusive resorts in Mexico (for the first trip). He told me that my friends could call him and he could sell them the same package...so that exactly what happened. I paid $435 on my CC for the package and my friends called him a few days later and bought the same package for $435 with their CC. Everything seemed great...at the time.

Fast forward to 9/4/19 - I called and spoke with reservation lady and told her that we wanted to book a trip to Sandos Finisterra resort in Cabo. The lady tells me, that to my surprise, group travel is not allowed at this resort, so I would have to choose another resort. I told her that I was not aware of this as the salesman never disclosed this to me and that it was only two couples that would be traveling - not like a group of 10 people.. but apparently that didn't matter. I was OK with that and we went down the list to try and find another option. But come to find out, the only resort that allows group travel is '***' in Cancun. This definitely wasn't the resort we wanted but I told her that if that's the only option, let's book it and move on, but it turns out that all the resorts in Mexico also have age restrictions. My friend's wife is 29 yrs old and apparently the minimum age requirement is 30. So not only did they sell me a package that doesn't allow group travel, they then sold my friends a package that they don't even qualify for and can't use.

The reservation lady was very nice and seemed to try everything she could to get the group travel/age restriction allowed, but she was ultimately unable, so she transferred me to the sales manager, ***.

*** was very nice as well and seemed completely understanding of the situation. He assured me that he would be able to make a few calls and get the group travel/age restriction issue pushed through and he would call me back by the end of the week.

I did not hear back from *** that week, so the following Monday on 9/9/19 I called and spoke with him again. He reassured me that he was working on it and that he was going to call the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya Resort and have them waive those two restrictions. Again, he told me that he would call me back in a day or two with an update.

Another week passes and still no word back from *** so I call again the following Monday on 9/16/19 and the person told me that *** was at lunch and would have him call me back once he's back in the office. As expected, no call back from ***, so I called again on 9/17/19 and was able to speak with him. He gave me the same run-around. He reassured me again that he would get it resolved and would call me by the end of the day/next bus day.

9/17/19 was the last time I was able to speak with *** (or really anyone at the company). From 9/4-9/17 I made 7 calls to the company and was always able to speak to someone. But from then on (from 9/18-10/3) every time I called, it would get sent directly to voicemail (they were obviously screening my calls). I called this company 24 times during this span and left numerous voicemails asking that they please return my call because all I was trying to do was book my trip that they sold me, but no one every returned my calls...ever. What type of company does business like this?

Desired Outcome

The main problem is that the salesman was well aware that the only reason I purchased this package was because I was planning on traveling with my friends, but he never disclosed that group travel was prohibited, otherwise I would have never bought this package to start with and it would have saved me a lot of wasted time/aggravation. I went back and pulled up the terms & conditions that was emailed to me 4/16/19 and I noticed that they didn't send these terms & conditions (with all their numerous restriction) to me until AFTER I purchased the package. I think that's a bit odd that they can say "no refunds" but not make you fully aware of all the restrictions that apply. I felt that I was being more than fair with them... I was willing to go to any of their resorts in Mexico, even though there were several that I wasn't interested in.. but I didn't want to have to deal with trying to get a refund. All I wanted to do was book my vacation but they made it impossible because they would never return my phone call. I even tried filling out their online reservation form on their website and also emailed them, but still no response..ever. I even emailed the company and told them that I was going to submit a complaint on Revdex.com because no one would ever get back to me. This is the last thing that I wanted to do but there really isn't another option. There's not even a way to find out where this company is located because their street address is "111 Unknown". I tried calling one last time on 10/7 and I actually got through..someone actually took my call. I asked for *** and she told me to hold and then the line got disconnected (I got hung up on). I tried calling back again and got VM. I'm really not trying to be difficult but this is beyond ridiculous that I'm having to deal with this bs. I've just been trying to book a vacation through this company for over a month now and it's clearly not working, so I want a refund for both my friends and me so that we can all move on. There's no reason to continue to insanity. Thanks

Honor Rewards Resorts Response • Oct 24, 2019

We apologize for all the inconvenience we have caused the guests.
But even now the resort still has not responded in regards to accepting the 29 year old travelers.
We will refund the guests the package purchase

I accept the response - as long as they are referring to refunding both packages that my friends and I were sold ($435 x 2 = $870).

Thanks

Customer Response • Nov 12, 2019

My dispute was resolved on 10/26 with the business saying that they will refund me, so I accepted the response and the case was closed, however, I still haven't received a refund. It's been almost three weeks. Do I need to re-open this case or what?
Thanks

High Pressured sales that would not let me review documents until I gave a credit card! I did not sign the document online and requested a refund.
HRR contacted *** I am a Diamond member with Hilton and they said they were Honors Reward which sounded like they were affiliated with Hilton. They even referenced a Hilton trip I just took!

Bottom line is I gave them my credit card number and they said for me to agree to terms that I need to sign the documents online! I did not and they are now saying it's a no refund policy even though I did not agree to terms! This is fraud and this company should be shut down! I have contacted both an attorney and my credit card company to Dispute this fraudulent transaction. It's my fault that I was taken but I seriously thought it was Hilton and I never signed their agreement.

Stay far away from this company!! I will never take another phone call from hucksters! I'm a senior citizen and they did a number on me!

Desired Outcome

I want credit for my $435.00 charge

Honor Rewards Resorts Response • Oct 23, 2019

GUest was difficult when sold - Tried to provide services and refused.
Refunded on 10/15/2019

I felt pressured to purchase a vacation plan from a company that I thought was the Hilton. It is NOT. I would like a refund of the pre-payment.
I felt extreme pressure to buy a vacation package from them, and after receiving the contract and paperwork, I realized that I did not want the package after all. They say they told me it was non-refundable, but the salesman talked fast and must have stuck that in amongst a whole string of "benefits" because I never heard that statement. I tried to cancel the plan and they won't refund the money.

Desired Outcome

I would like a refund of the money I paid them due to their false advertising and high pressure tactics and confusing name. I am apparently not the only person to think I speaking with the Hilton and not this other company that also uses the Honors name. The phone number and address are in Orlando, the same city affiliated with my Hilton Honors. This is just all around deceptive.

Miss representation of Hilton Honors and unauthorized use of personal identifiable information
On September 19th, 2019 *** Honor Rewards Resorts called in miss representation of Hilton Honors while referring to my personal identifiable information, such as my address, my name, phone number, and that I actually attended a Hilton Honor time share presentation at one of their locations earlier. The company deceitfully made me believe they belonged to Hilton Honors and that I was being extended another opportunity to experience their services with a VIP upgrade.

They wrongfully sold me 2 offers as a VIP all inclusive upgrade for 2 adults, 5 days and 4 nights. At the time of the telephone call I spoke with two agents and none of them told me that this was non refundable purchase. This came as a surprise when I received their email stating many restrictions stated in the invoice that were not shared over the phone at the time of the purchase. After ending the phone call, I called the number provided and was not able to reach them, leaving a voice mail requesting a call back and I emailed them requesting a cancelation, but as of this moment I have not heard from them.

I did not sign the "doc u sign document" that they emailed, making this purchase invoice an invalid contract. I was charged $535 in my credit card and sent an invoice of $400 by email, the $400 stated in the invoice represents an amount that has been previously shared in other complaints.

Desired Outcome
I want them to issue me a refund for my full $535 and remove all my personal information from their data base.

Desired Outcome

Desired Outcome I want them to issue me a refund for my full $535 and remove all my personal information from their data base.

Honor Rewards Resorts Response • Sep 30, 2019

Guest was well aware of what was purchased - as the reps must read the script verbatim .. The guest was on website and saw each property and knew that none of the properties offered were from or by Hilton - Hilton was the last travel she did and based on that travel is how why were able to offer her the vacation.

They have refused to respond to my emails and voicemails requesting a refund.
I purchased a vacation package for $599.00. After discussions with my wife and friends it was decided to cancel the trip we were planning. Within a week of purchasing the package I emailed them requesting a refund, per the agreement I had 14 days to request a refund. I have now sent three emails and left 3 voicemails with no response. Unfortunately I will be taking legal action against them.

Desired Outcome

A full refund immediately.

Deceptive advertising/positioning of product. They make it seem like they are part of the Hilton organization.
I was called on 9/3/19 and I was under the impression that this was Hilton Honors VIP club - which I have used in the past. The offer was similar to what I received through Hilton and the name they provided sound like they said Hilton Honors. I was transferred to *** who told me I could go back to Costa Rica and stay at the Hilton Papagayo Costa Rica - which also made me believe it was Hilton Honors VIP club. I stated the offer was too good to be true and *** told me due to hurricane Dorian, I lucked into a better deal as he was in Central Florida and was able to work as the hurricane took a different path. He also mentioned, VIP, which is the same as what Hilton calls their program. He even referenced how this was different from my prior stays as it only required a 60 minute property tour with no hard sell. How did he know I did the Hilton VIP tour in the past, I have no idea. He said it was easy to book - call the *** number and he was extension *** - or you can book online. Once I received the email confirmation and realized this was not affiliated with Hilton, I immediately started calling the number provided with no success. I then entered the number in a Google search and that is when I came across many similar complaints. I continued calling the *** number with no success - I was either immediately disconnected or put on hold - with no ability to enter an extension. He also mentioned round trip transfers being added to the offer but that was not mentioned in their standard T&Cs.

Desired Outcome

I am looking for my money to be refunded. I have called my credit card company and they are ready to put the charge in dispute if Honor Rewards is not willing to refund me my money.

This is committing fraud. We have a team currently investigating as all of our calls are monitored and recorded. The guest admitted both times; once during intital sales call; and second when the representative called to clarify and played the phone call for the guest. The representative was very specific and thorough with what was offered. We have attached the recording of the sales call - Found here: *** - ***_XXXXX_***_XXXXXXXXXXX_XXXXXXXXX.wav

Customer Response • Sep 24, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)If you listen to the recording, there are areas in which I believe have been altered. They specifically mentioned papagayo costa rica in our original discussion - because that is when I went to the Hilton Papagayo site. I never heard reference to Papagayo on the recording. I have filed with my credit card company as at best, this is deceptive.
