I am rejecting this response because: everyone knows that shipping and handling charges are arbitrarily set by the company and should not be part of the cost of the productIt is simply the cost of the pump and that price is lowerThis company just does not want to admit to sufficient facts presented Just like this company state that day shipping is not really days or overnight is not really overnightSeriously, how do people get away with doing this ? I can see this company takes pride in not h onoring thier price guarentee and manipulating words to suit their needsI would probably have better luck posting on social media instead

I am rejecting this response because:MESSAGE FROM BUSINESS:"The product is as described and the expiration is the time frame for these particular reagentsNo claim is made otherwise about this productThey are not available any different from the manufacturer or any other vendorThis complaint is without justification of any kind."Customer Response:Let us be blunt The Business does not appear to comprehend that they (not I) are responsible for the content of their own website As evidenced in my previous reply (inserted below), the Business has habitually made statements which are patently wrong I have provided documentation from the Business's own website to substantiate my position, all of which is public record and easily verified by Revdex.com and the Business It is my position that the Business is not at liberty to advertise at the point of sale that a product has for example: a year shelf life or will provide accurate tests, and then privately refute it's own published point of sale information.In summary, this is is not a complicated issue The Federal Trade Commission states of online trade: "Advertising must tell the truth and not mislead consumers." Simple as that. Quite to the contrary, the Business' website (same one I purchased from) for THIS SPECIFIC KIT states: "Accurately tests tests" for each liquid reagent and "tests" for CYA http://www.hottubwarehouse.com/lamotte-colorq-pro-test-kit-2056Also on Business' website (same one I purchased from): "If stored in a cool, dry location, most testing kits have a two-year shelf life. REGARDLESS OF SHELF LIFE." EMPHASIS added.Once again, the business' purchase website has no mention of Business' "policy that only guarantees reagents for up to months". As with all of this information, I have previously forwarded copious links from the Business' very own webpages to demonstrate that no mention is made of this policyIf Revdex.com would like, I can post all of those messages here as well.In summary, my complaint has asked that Business state on their purchase website, that which they seem to be quite happy to state in emails to me and in their Revdex.com reply. I am also asking that they replace my reagents with current product (a $value + shipping). My responses above are a repeat of information that has previously been provided to the Business. customer as they should. Neither Lamotte or Hot Tub Warehouse makes any claims of longer shelf lives. Lamotte does guarantee that they will not be expiring withing 90 days of receiving a kit which isn't the case in this instance. With normal, recommended use, the reagents will be either depleted or mostly depleted within that time frame. It sounds like the customer is assuming all testing supply companies have the same time frame for expiration dates which is not the case. We can't find any other justification for why they think the product should be different than it is. The customer received exactly what he ordered with reagents with a normal expiration date.
