This matter has been addressed by the regional Manager for this location, from a survey completed by customerAt the time the customer was greeted he should have been informed of the price for the special motor oil his vehicle requiredThe customer is being reimbursed the total amount for this error at the store

We had immediately went and inspected vehicle when customer contacted usVehicle had been months since service and gone over 8,miles from time of serviceThe oil filter was sent out to [redacted] for inspection, which did take time for results [redacted] responded today that the oil filter failed in testing and that their insurance company will be processing the claimThe issue was not with Jiffy Lube's workmanshipI spoke with the customer today and updated her.Thomas S [redacted] Customer Service ManagerSTC Management, LLC

Customer was contacted and apologized to, The problem was a communication breakdown between a new employee and another new employee our cashierCustomer was talked to and we are sending them a VIP for a free future service

This customer also sent in a jiffy lube international complaint on 11/20/that was dealt with the same dayShe called me on the 21st to thank me for all the help and taking action on the matterThis issue has been resolved on our eyes and can be closed. Paul B***STC Mgmt Regional

I am rejecting this response because: For the third consistent time , the company has stated in writing that they declined the acceptance of their own coupon I will be providing a scanned copy of said coupon today I'm glad I have brought this to the attention of the Revdex.com, as *** *** has gone on record, twice, in writing, that they are declining honoring their own company coupon, which has no expiration date Once I upload this coupon and provide it on the Revdex.com for all the public to see, I will be escalating this matter to the Department of Consumer Affairs, and also posting it on several media outlets to emphasize to people as much as possible how *** *** goes out of their way to dishonor their own coupon and lose customer base due to their being greedy, uneducated individuals who were put in management positions Pretty sad, pretty funny, but pretty lame

Customer contact attempted via email and phoneNo contact as of yet.The correct oil filter application was used per our supplierThe size of the filter varies based of the manufacture/brandThe filters we use do meet and/or exceed the car manufacture's specsIf customer returns call or email to
the location management, they have been authorized to issue a VIP card for a free future service

We will be attempting to contact the customer to get a copy of any related invoicesThose invoices will then be reviewed

when ** *** first contacted the store,
Terrence an assistant manager for the store went out to look at the vehicleHe
found the vehicle quarts low on oil, no oil leaks or oil blow back under the
vehicle to indicate oil leaksHe then tried to start the vehicle, it would
turn over,
but would not startThe manager John then went out and did a
compression test and found cylinder and were 41% below minimum
specifications with cylinder down 48% and cylinder down 65% for that
vehicleHe inspected under the vehicle and did not see any indication of
leaksBut did notice the inside of the tailpipe had oil residue to indicate the
engine was burning oilWe spoke with *** *** on numerous occasions, the
1st time it was told that the vehicle had to be driven around the
building to be brought back in because there was no oil was put in the vehicle
When told the video does not show that, we were told that it was a couple weeks
laterAfter looking at the videos for approximately two and a half weeks, we
informed him nothing showed on our videoHe then said that it was the next day
at Chantilly Jiffy LubeAfter contacting Chantilly Jiffy Lube as well as the
area manager for that that location they said they do not have video going back
that far** *** then said he would have his daughter in law go back to
that location and talk to the people they dealt withHe asked what would
happen then, I informed him to have that location call usThe last message I
received from him was asking to email or text my full name and corporate name
and address

Customer contact has been made and part replacement will be taken care of.

Summary of Events:
 
 Day of Visit to Jiffy Lube Alexandria (
Receipt attached): On May 27, 2016, we received a Signature Service Oil Change
and paid the establishment $45.00 for the service.  The following has been noted on the
receipts:  Service Comments:  Quality Inspection by C. Campbell
Oil low priorRec Serpentine Belt ReplacementCheck on fuel system cleaningCheck on radiator serviceRecommend tire rotationRecommend cabin filter change 
The next
day the maintenance light came on the dashboard.  It was too late to take it back to Alexandria
Jiffy Lube so I took it to Chantilly Jiffy Lube.  The closes Jiffy Lube at that time was the Chantilly
Jiffy Lube in Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy. When I pulled up at Chantilly Jiffy Lube, Cassie
G[redacted] assisted me.
 
I told her about the maintenance light came on
the dash board and noise dragging from the bottom of the car.
 
Cassie G[redacted] instructed me to drive my car
around to the shop area.  Which I obliged.
 
Then, Mike H[redacted] came around and took the car himself
inside the bay, and started to check of what’s wrong with the car. What he found is that the oil cap is
missing.
 
When he completed what need to be fix from the
bottom of the car, he told me that “when
I got my oil changed at Alexandria store #110, he thinks the shop forgot to put
the oil cap back on or loose” and Mike put on a brand new one.  I repeatedly asked him if an oil need
to be added he replied “NO” and I was good to go.  I still made it home that day, but I think
the damage is already done. Then on July 1st the car broke down it’s
completely out of oil.
 
When the car broke down, I called my insurance
company to have the car towed at my residence.    I then called our Master Auto Technician.
 
Previous
Signature Service was performed at Alexandria Store 110 on 4/26/2016.  And
May 27, 2016   REMEDY I would like the car in the original running
condition prior to Jiffy Lube oil change.I
would like to receive rental car reimbursement.

Once again, our company will gladly take any authorized and valid coupon or discount offer that our management company has. The coupon the customer speaks of is not a valid coupon.
