We used house smart for new windows in our houseThey were not the cheapest but from first meeting until the final installation they were top shelf in providing the best product and best service we felt from the contractors we got pricing fromI would recommend them to any house owner looking for new windows and installation
A number of windows were replaced in the strata There is one window which we continue to have problems with The window doesn't sit perfectly at the base, allowing water to flow to the left side of the sill When the technician came back, they just drilled holes for drainage of the water This did not work, and the technician came back to drill more holes Yet, the issue still persists and cold air is now seeping into the unit due to those holes
I don't very often every submit a review but being a senior I believe it is important to let you know when someone does an excellent job We recently had patio doors installed by House Smart Home Improvements The quality of the work was excellent as was the product
They installed windows not all measured correctly, and siding which was done with many mistakes such as it does't line up from one side to the next, not interlocked properly, uneven trim around windows, starter trim not fastened correctly, phone cable box left hanging from wires not fastened to house, pot light covers not reinstalled, and lower drip flashing left not connected from one side to the other leaving sharp edgesThe owner told me that it was because the home had probably settled.I have pictures of all said flaws
I found the men that installed the windows very friendly and nice and very pleasant to have a conversation with They took extra time to make sure everything was covered before they walked in and everything was cleaned up and the old windows were taken away
