Good morning. Sorry for the delay, we are in the middle of year end closings. I was able to follow up with *** ***. Apparently the customer is concerned about floor vibrations when the island cabinet doors/drawers are closed hard.We will contact the customer next week and
determine how we might stiffen the floor beneath the island. We will also contact Tremco Barrier Solutions to determine their course of action. thanks *** ***

I just read the warranty response from *** and it appears they said they would repaint the peeling areas and they were sending it to their warranty dept for actionI am confused?

good morning this family leased a home from us with the intent of buying it he is claiming that one of our sales reps told him he could install some items ? we have no record of this, and the lease specifically states that you should not do this, and if you do it is on you
beyond that there is nothing in writing and no officers of the company approved this request or any $ amount blinds were installed $???? When we install blinds in rental homes, we spend about $total. This complaint should be thrown out if you would like a copy of the lease language / signed lease, please let me know.thanksjim

We have spoken to *** ***they visited the site yesterday and said they will make repairs as soon as the new home's sod has taken root and can afford to be watered less we also installed some straw wattles to eliminate most run off potential.this type of thing can happen when dealing with such topography.thanksjim

I called and filled out
work request on 9-11-I still have yet to hear anythingMy front door gets so hot to even touch and it has buckled causing swelling in parts of my door, where it’s hard to closeI can’t even keep decorations on my front door because it gets so hot, why would a new house be built towards the direction of the sun with not tree put in the front yard or covering over the front door? The white paint is even coming off of the cement brick that is the foundation of my home; it looks so tacky and has peeled in some areas around the house because of the rain and moisture

Hello,Thank you for the follow up. We still have several items outstanding on the original punch out list that was guaranteed to be completed by July 3rd. Trinity Homes has completed some of the items but not all of them. I understand that they had to order replacement parts for some things which they CC'd me on the orders about days ago and that some of them have come in since. They have yet to install the items or finish the rest of the repairs.I would like to leave this complaint open until the job is complete.Thank you,

Trinity Home Builders fails to communicate with us about the fixes to specific items on
our homeThey requested a list of itemsWe sent the list to themThey have failed to communicate with us about their plan to remedy the items on the list.We would like Trinity Home Builders to finish the job that they received payment for in JanuaryWe would like for them to communicate with us about when they will fix the items on the list they asked us to send themWe would like for them send qualified contractors to fix the items

good afternoon.  this is a HOMEWOOD HOME.  it is my understanding the [redacted] Door rep from [redacted] has been contacted to review and put on a new front door.In addition, [redacted] was contacted to reapply the above grade fdnt paint.  thanks

To Whom It May Concern,Please review the attached pictures, taken yesterday (8/1/16) at the site in question.  The seeded areas on the lot adjacent to the complainant's are demonstrating definitive signs of growth, and there is straw wattle in place and no reasonable justification for tearing up an actively growing yard to install two or three rows of sod as "preventative measure" when, again, there is grass growth occurring that is serving that purpose already.

The sight supervisor has been in contact with the homeowner and is addressing the exterior paint  clean up and a couple of other items that were weather permitting. All items will be completed this week.

Good Evening,Revdex.com:I reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted]. This acceptance is contingent upon successful receiving of $1000 deposit from...

the business. As per Mr. Jim response to the complaint on 11/07/16, deposit was mailed on 11/07/16 but it had been almost 8 days and I have not received anything in the mail yet.I will keep this complaint open until we receive the deposit.

I am rejecting this response because:  I never asked to be first.  I never expected to be first.  I did, however, expect fairness.  Your Vice President sent me an email clearly stating that homes would be sodded and seeded in the order they closed, yet we watched two homes that closed after us be taken care of before us (before we even complained).   This is poor service.  I also want to make clear that we do now have sod--AFTER we filed this complaint and retained our attorney for this matter.  Most importantly, the laying of the sod and seed took place AFTER THE DEADLINE as stated in our escrow sheet received at closing.  We were outside the contract!  Perhaps [redacted] was unaware of this matter, which could have been perused under the Consumer Protection Act.  PLEASE make certain [redacted] reads this--he needs to know what is going on in his company.
Regards,
[redacted]

Trinity did respond to my complaint about a month ago by sending all the servicemen needed to address every issue.  With the exception of my waterproofing in the basement.  I was told by Trinity that it was best to wait to get that addressed when the weather turns warmer consistently.  I plan on doing that.  However, if the waterproofing company does not respond as they did before, I would like to reserve the ability to reopen the complaint as it was Trinity's responsibility under the 1 year warranty to ensure their contractor complied with their promises made to customer.  I will not do as Trinity stated before "track them down," because they respond don't respond to them either.  This is Trinity's issue not mine.  It does not become the homeowner's issue until after the 1st year.  Due to Trinity's inability at the time to honor the 1 year walk through and repairs, they have previously promised in email to fix everything even though it was well after the one year mark.  With that being said, I am highly impressed with the service provided by the men sent to repair my home.  All three were extremely helpful and addressed everything.  They asked if there was anything else needed to be fixed and made sure I saw and signed off on every repair.  I am very grateful for this level of service.  It did not go unnoticed.  Thank you.

Good afternoon.  I as responding to a complaint from one of our customers, [redacted].  Our production department is working with Mr. [redacted] to correct his painting concerns.  Trinity Homes has multiple painters and punchout personnel available to complete the corrections to our standards, that which we represent in our model homes.  Hopefully we can have the portion of these items that remain accomplished soon.  As always, our intent is to deliver the product that was promised. We do not make monetary concessions to customers to quell complaints, because ultimately the issues remain unresolved.SincerelyJim P[redacted]

Good afternoon.  I was able to follow up directly with my field superintendent, Dave W[redacted], who was in charge of building this home.  Dave informed me that three of the four items have already been addressed.  Dave did say that the above grade foundation water proofing paint...

was put on over some stucco/mortar splashes on the block foundation, which could and should look better.  He is going to contact the customer to set up a date and time when he and a laborer can visit the home, do some scraping and sanding and re-apply the Tremco paint to the above grade block in the affected areas.Thank youjim P[redacted]

In regards to my complaint and in lieu of the time that has past since the one year items should have been resolved (12/14/13), I am referring back to my original complaint which includes many outstanding items that were not addressed in Trinity's response.  I  have already attempted to resolve many of my issues with Trinity's Warranty Department for the past year, which is one year already past when the items should have been addressed ( Our original walk through with [redacted] was March 29th, 2014 and another with [redacted] in April of 2014, with our first contact with Trinity concerning the walk through being October 29, 2013, per our contract).   This is the primary reason as to why the Revdex.com has been invited to assist in resolving this issue in a way that is timely and fair.  In responding please respond to all specific issues and with dates for my review.  As previously, stated I have taken off of work, rearranged my calendar and have made special arrangements only to have contractors (Trinity employees) not show up, work part of the time, promise to return and didn't, or simply denied repairs that were deemed necessary by Trinity representatives.  I am requesting that any need to enter the home by Trinity or their subcontractors be scheduled only on the same day or even two days and not one day per repair, as I am not paid when I am not at work.  Nor do I have time any longer to entertain a large window of time spread across several days for several companies.  Considering all involved I think it would be best, at the end of the repairs for a Trinity representative and myself to have a final repair walk through as a way to have both sides confirm all work has been completed to everyone's satisfaction.  The outstanding list is as follows:1.  3rd Floor Restroom sink/cabinet detaching from the wall2.  Several bank of steps detaching from the wall3.  The constant back up in the kitchen sink/3rd Restroom sink (previously) addressed by plumber who after hearing we were well past our 1 year denied repair unless paid by homeowner.  However, [redacted] stated they will repair, they are obligated to)4.  Huge knick in granite countertops5.  Kitchen Cabinet/Counterop that moves considerably when drawers and cabinets are closed as well as when it is walked past (previously addressed by [redacted])6.  Leaking basement block/waterproofing line raised and considerable gap in grout/concrete block near window that allows water, air, etc to enter our basement. In responding to the complaint, we ask that each item be addressed, with that, how Trinity would like to repair each item and by whom for my review.  I believe a reasonable time frame, considering the fact that Trinity has been delinquent in their handling of the items before, would be 14 business days. Based on the dates above ( prior contact, walk throughs, etc) and the many promises I think that most would agree that we have been more than patient and accommodating during this almost one and a half year process.  And we would simply like Trinity to do the same on behalf of their customer.  I look forward to working with the Revdex.com and Trinity in the next coming days to finally resolve this matter.  We want nothing more than a whole house and to give Trinity the time they need to focus on their current business and not things of the past.  Have a wonderful day!
Regards,
[redacted]

I accept the door offer BUT NOT the peeling on the outside of my home! I contacted [redacted] who has stated they are NOT responsible for this and I have attached the email from the representative I spoke with.

My apologies.  Our company policy is not to install steps when the overall rise exceeds 42".  However, after further investigation, we believe our sales staff may have misinformed our customer about this and so we are preparing purchase order for lumber and labor to install a 3x3 stoop...

with steps to grade within the next two weeks.thank youJim P[redacted]
