Hublar Pool and Outdoor Living

Hublar built our retaining wall in our back yard back in November, 2018. June 9, 2019, 6 months later and the first rain of the season, the wall collapsed and has caused additional eroding issues in our back yard. The purpose of building the retaining wall was to prevent additional eroding of the yard before it was unusable. Mr. Hublar, did come out pretty quickly and was going to get us on the schedule to repair the damage caused by the incorrect build of the wall. The wall was not built correctly, there were no water drainage and the wall was not stable to withstand the rain, which is the purpose of the wall. He has stated that he had us on the schedule multiple times but then does not show and then reschedules. He now no longer responds to communications. It has been more than 90 days and we have been unable to use our back yard because it hazardous and continues to erode due to the additional damage to the yard.

Brian *** built a retaining wall for our back yard and the first heavy rain it slid off the hill and half our yard with it. It did not have proper drainage as well. This happened the first week of June. He came out with in 2 weeks of this happening and said he would have a crew out to fix it as soon as possible. He would tell us we was on the schedule and give us a day and never show up. He is not returning text messages and the issue has been for 3 months thus far. We was unable to use our back yard all summer. It’s been extremely frustrating and we have been very patient and understanding. But now we are just mad.

After more than 3 months on the same project, they are still not complete with what they said would take a week. They were hired to fix a problem with water draining in my back yard. Laid a paver patio and sealed it with polymeric sand which is now essentially concrete with no drains for the water to move to. The reason we did pavers instead of concrete was for the water to drain through the pavers. There are 2 low spots in the patio that forever hold water. I had to purchase a pump to ensure that the water would not enter my back door in heavy downpours. He is not answering my phone calls and his voicemail inbox is full and doesn't respond to texts. Just to get them out to complete the job has been a nightmare. They finally fixed my neighbor's leach line pipe that they crushed during their work, but still haven't back filled the line. Jerry (worker) was out last week and has been the best part of the experience in the last month. The only reason I'm giving two stars is because it looks good to the eye, but they did not fix the problem they were initially hired to do.
