We are responding to [redacted]’s last reply to this claim.
We are restating that it is unfortunate that this incident happened.  As a company, we did what was legally
necessary.  I am forwarding to you the
copy of the letter that was sent to [redacted] from our insurance
company. 
In addition, I would like to point out that on the top of
every delivery ticket that is given to our customers is a disclaimer stating:
Company is responsible for the delivery of product to the
receiving pipe or outlet designated by the customer. Customer acknowledges and
agrees that neither the company, nor its employees or agents are or shall be
liable under any circumstances for any damages resulting from leaks or for the
failure of the receiving tank or associated piping or any other matter.
It is the customer’s responsibility to maintain their
driveways and property making sure they are safe for deliveries.
[redacted] was set up as an automatic delivery customer.  [redacted]’s Oil made oil deliveries when [redacted] needed oil.  We did nothing
different on December 23, 2013 than we did on any previous delivery to his
property.  It is the customer’s
responsibility to pay for that delivery within 7 business days.  This delivery was made on December 23, 2013.  To date, March 27, 2015, [redacted]’s Oil has yet
to receive payment for this deliver in the amount of over $700. 
Again, please let us know what additional information you
will need from us to clear up this matter.

They will not fill prescriptions that I have been on for years.

Almost 30 phone calls, 9 faxes, and 4 direct contacts with my doctors office, I can not get an answer as to why I can not get Insulin from the Pharmacy. I have been promised for 2 days that it would be sorted out, but now I have been without insulin for over 24 hours and still no answer from any of the reps at Humana. I am an insulin dependent diabetic, I take insulin daily and have for over 15 years, absolutely nothing has changed with my amount or type of insulin for the last 4 years, but all of the sudden I can not get my prescription approved. I have been to the Doc in the last month, no issues, no changes. No reason is given except, your application shows "in process".

Within an hour of giving my credit card and personal information to a Humana employee, I received a multitude of fraudulent charges on my credit card. This was using the exact information that I gave their employee, including a new address, new phone number, and new card. This is all information that I do not share freely, and have had zero issues with in the past. The employee made "an adjustment" on my account and charged a fraction of the premium she was supposed to charge. I can only assume this was to ensure that my card was valid, before she went on an online shopping spree using all of my personal information. Humana needs to better screen and monitor their employees, as I am now subject to being a victim of identity theft.

Humana Pharmacy is absolutely the WORST pharmacy I've ever used ... and I'm 72 years old so that's saying something ! I have missed more prescriptions with Humana than I have received on time. Recently they stopped my prescription which I needed because I owed them $12.00 friggin' dollars. Then I was waiting for several other prescriptions and I went to their website and saw where they took it upon themselves to cancel all my prescriptions so I had to turn around and reorder them all and now I'm still awaiting them to send me my NEEDED prescriptions. I'm experiencing withdrawal effects from one of my meds and I still haven't received it. I will absolutely NEVER NEVER use Humana Pharmacy again !!!

I attempted to apply for Humana Medical online several times December 2015 during a deadline. When I was unable to get through, I called the number listed and seemingly had success. I gave my checking account number and within a short amount of time my checking was debited for the amount duscussed with customer service. When I called Humana to double check a few day later, I was perplexed as they had no record. After hours of being on the phone with them...and then my bank followed by Humana's bank I contacted a person who told me I had the wrong department and that I was registered for dental insurance which was incorrect. So in an attempt to change it to medical I was told Humana did not service my area. I requested a refund and was told it was nonrefundable. I received absolutely nothing from HUMANA except wrong information and now I have to pay for it? I am fighting this by reporting it everywhere for the mere fact I don't want anyone going through this hassel. As fast as they took money out of my checking account it is suspicious how it is almost the end of January and my money has not been refunded. For Humana to be a Health Insurance company, ironically they have managed to cause stress which is a number one culprit to damage ones health. I can't imagine a Senior going through this and fighting so I am doing it. Stay away from this company!! Humana is inhumane!

This is the worst insurance company I have ever dealt with. I spoke with twelve different Humana representatives and not one could help me. I was disconnected twice (or hung up on); I was told that the next representative could help me and not one could; then I was told there was no supervisor to speak with or to file a complaint with. How is that possible? I called this insurance company on behalf of my elderly parents, who a month later are still awaiting prescriptions. I got no where with this company or anyone who works for them.

This is the worse Health Insurance company I have ever had to deal with in my lifetime. We just starting using Humana and they have paid for nothing! I was to have surgery on February 25th, 2015 but I am sitting in pain waiting for them to approve it. They don't care about you they don't want to pay for nothing. I am warning anyone that has a choice to have Human DON'T or get rid of them I am trying to. I had a shot put into my neck and guess what it cost $980 and guess what they paid nothing! It all came out of my pocket. I am trying to talk my employer into going with a different insurance company and I am going to see what I can do to help other consumers out there so they do not use Humana. I don't want anyone going through what I am. I also have heartburn which I have had for over 15 years prescribed the same medication for over 15 years 2-40mg Omperzale's they tell me they will only pay for one I don't need two a day. They are so terrible, the worse please do not get involved with Humana.............

This company is not willing to help with any medication issues. Every time I have spoken to them, the representative has gave false information. When asked to speak to a supervisor, the representative will not let me.

I recently found out that my insurance, Humana, wasn't going to cover my medicine anymore so they recommended Right Source so I can get my insulin and everything needed to monitor my diabetes. They quoted me numerous times the same amount which was about $46. I checked my bank account and they took out almost $280! Not $46! Now my bank is going into overdraft because we live day to day and I don't have that money. They LIED to me. I am in bankruptcy and are money, as little as we may have, is valuable and now they took out $276 not $46! I'm so stressed right now with this!

We bought our insurance through e-TeleQuote insurance. When we purchased humana we ask about medications an were told they covered them.After it started on July 1st. they started raising prices of medication. Same medication that cost $10 the month before was now $95 .Other meds they refuse to cover, one is my migraine medication, my husbands diabetic an heart medication. These were ask about before we bought the insurance, were assured they were covered. Ones we were told would cost $45 is now $189, it is this way on every medication. I was not allowed to file a complaint.

My complaint is with Right Source a mail order prescription with Humana. They called me and had a list of my medications and told me what the price would be. When I went to the Dr. I had them refill my prescriptions with Right Source. After several weeks I contacted them about my prescription and was told it had been cancelled because they could not reach my Dr. They did not bother to let me know until I called in.

I then contacted my Dr. and had them resend it in. I called today to check on it and the amount they say I owe is twice as much as I was quoted and was presently paying at my drugstore. I talked to three different people and got a different answer from each. I asked why I was not told the prescription was cancelled the first time and I was not notified they said they did not have enough staff to do this. This does not sound like a company I want to do business with.

I am going to have my prescription transferred back to my drugstore as they seem to not know what they are doing. I also told them that if they had given me the right price I would not have changed. Why would I choose to pay double the price.

I initially chose to have the Humana Gold Advantage Plan (after having to medically retire from govt service and after a career in the US Navy) because I needed medical insurance outside of the VA (too cumbersome and painful to use) and one that would cover prescriptions (that the VA did not cover). I had to have an emergency surgery on my back and was not experienced enough to know the loops I would have to jump through if I chose an advantage plan in place of Medicare. I would learn some hard lessons over the next two years and dropped Humana during 2015 open season and signed up for another plan as a supplement to Medicare effective 1 Jan 2016. My new insurance went into effect as requested but I have been unable to use it for over 2 months because Humana added me BACK to their books AFTER dropping me at my request the first time. I have called no less than a dozen times to each establishment (medicare, new insurance and Humana) explaining the mix up and even have formal letters from Humana acknowledging the mistake. But two months later, they refuse to release me from their records so I can use my new insurance. My pharmacy has not been able to help me even though I have put them through way too much trouble trying to use the insurance (that I have bought and paid for two months now). I cannot communicate the extent to my frustration with Humana and their lack of customer service, incompetence and bad business practices throughout this whole ordeal. If we are putting our seniors through 1/10th of the nonsense that I have been through, we should be ashamed as a country. PLEASE do yourself a favor and do not sign up for an advantage plan, let alone Humana Gold.

I was insured by Humana for my health care. I used Humana Pharmacy for my prescription drugs. I ordered Cialis from Humana and was charged $768 for a 90 day supply. When I complained about the price, over $8.50 per pill, I was advised that they had given me the price. That was not accurate. I would never have approved that cost, but would have researched other options. They may have left a message on my answering machine, but not before the drugs were shipped. I was fishing in Alaska in a remote cabin when they claim I was advised of the cost. I did not become aware of the price until I checked my CC statement. When I complained, I received a voice mail from a Pharmacist that I could not further protest the cost. I was not spoken to personally. When I initially complained I told them I could have ordered the produce from Wal-Mart for less. I would caution anyone about ordering prescription drugs from Humana without know their pricing policies for non prescription drugs. I have since cancelled my Health Care Insurance with Humana, and am very happy not to be with Humana.

never got my Silver sneakers member ship card after being on this worthless insurance company sense 2012....requested a new password for their online site Never got anything...sent an order to their so called free site for 50$ worth of stuff That was in March 2013...Still waiting...going to cancel as soon as I find anybody better...calling them and talking to an agent is like winning Powerball very High odds against you...They send me mail stating " We've been trying to get a hold of you " That's a lie---Just pick up phone and call me..They have been wanting me to get a Flu shot at cost of 25$ plus office copay of 10$ Do the math I got Flu shot at Walgreens for 10$

I would like to tell you just how I feel about your organization. I have called several times and asked if Georgetown Memorial Hospital in SC is in the Humana Network and every time I called (several) I was told yes. In those several calls four(4) times I ask if a provider directory can be sent to me so that I did not have to call the member service about every doctor, hospital or whatever is in the network. The first time I called I received “active outlook”, “your health and wellness handbook” and other nonsense not pertaining to what I asked for. The second call I received Northwest SC directory does not have my county in it, after the first call I started keeping track who sent what this was Suzanna [redacted]. The third call I received Northwest Georgia directory not even in the state Jessica [redacted]. The fourth call I received Central area SC with no Horry county in it Kaynes [redacted] still the wrong directory. This all from Humana’s call centers, I would like to stress here these people DO NOT KNOW ANTHING and have no true knowledge of the insurance policy all they do is read from the computer terminal. Here is a easy way to find the right directory, have the directory looked up by the members zip code or better yet why isn’t a FULL directory mailed automatically to the members, or is Humana just trying to cut corners and save on expense. PLEASE do not assume that every body has internet service and state well you can always go online to find answers to your questions. Your web page is just as bad as the call centers. Why is there doctors in the network that don’t belong to the hospital in the network call and asked that question no one can answer. Recent calls made to call center in Florida, Raymond didn’t know anything and North Carolina, Prince hung up on me. After being on the telephone for over a hour trying to get information and the Corporate telephone number I was absolutely disturbed.
I was scheduled for outpatient surgery on April 24 out of Georgetown Memorial. Magically 3 days before my surgery a partial provider directory appeared in my mail box with no packaging or order number. I immediately skimmed through the pamphlet and found that Georgetown Memorial is considered as “Other hospitals” is available only for emergency service. I called the number provided and went through a couple of persons before I was told Georgetown was not a member of Humana’s Medicare Advantage plan.
Now because of false information from your ignorant call center people I had to cancel an outpatient surgery, because I was not going to pay 30% of the cost since I was told Georgetown Memorial was in the network. Your organization should have qualified insurance specialist answering phones and not a call center that reads from a computer terminal. All your advertisements project an image of concern. I need to ask, is this a concern of yours that your organization employees give out wrong information and have no knowledge of the insurance policies and do you really care? If so, then maybe you as the head of the Corporation should do something about it !!!! I still did not get my complete provider directory.

The claims department holds claims out past 45 days. They stated there was no problem with the claim and it would be paid but it would take 45 days to process. My date of service at my dentist was on 3/4/14 and as of 5/6/14 the claim has not been paid.

BAD, BAD, BAD and only want to save money and do not care about patient care.

Needed a medication and doctor wrote a prescription for me and Human only wants to do something cheaper and less effective.

My husband and I are teachers in North Carolina. A few years ago, the system used Humana for all of their supplemental insurance policies. In the fall of 2012, a representative came to our school to present options for supplemental insurances offered by Humana. My husband and I spoke with a representative (Mr. Donald [redacted]? cannot read his handwriting on my forms). I WAS NOT pregnant at the time, but my husband and I were trying. We were looking for insurance that would provide disability coverage once I gave birth if we go pregnant. This representative "helped" us find a policy that would provide this coverage. He told us that, should I become pregnant before January 1, 2013, that I should wait to go to the doctor until after January 1, 2013. If I waited, then I would be covered. I asked SEVERAL times to be sure of this, and he assured me each time that this was the case. I thought I was pregnant in mid-December and went to the doctor AFTER January 1, 2013. After giving birth to our daughter and filing the claim, I was denied because it was considered a "pre-existing condition", despite following the representative's guidelines. This representative cared NOTHING for my family or the fact that he was going to cheat two teachers from North Carolina (one of the WORST teacher pay states in the US to begin with) out of over $1,000 on a policy that would not pay out once we filed a claim. This representative just wanted his commission for selling another policy. I am so disappointed and frustrated by this company and the way it treats its customers. I will NEVER buy a policy from this company again, and would urge all consumers to make sure to read ALL fine print and NEVER trust what the representative tells you.

I am COMPLETELY UNSATISFIED with their business & customer service. I originally chose this company because I needed immediate coverage for some dental work. I called and spoke with a rep to pick out the best plan and even paid extra to have the plan activate ASAP. When I went to my dentist, they could NOT FIND ME ENROLLED in the program and I had to PAY OUT OF POCKET. I called Humana and even they could not find me in their program. After being on the phone for forever, they miraculously found my plan. I firmly believe that while I was put on hold they LIED and added me to the program right then and there even though I paid for this coverage a month earlier. When I went to FILE A COMPLAINT and CANCEL the insurance since I had already paid for all of my dental work out of pocket, they would NOT LET ME SPEAK to anyone on the phone and made me write a letter. Humana responded to my letter saying I COULD NOT CANCEL because I paid for an entire year in advance and would not give me my money back even though my dentist could not go through that insurance. I never even received a dental card to show I was in their system.
I am BEYOND FRUSTRATED and recommend that no one ever tries to work with this company.
