Dear Ms [redacted] This is in response to complaint ID As stated in my original reply we follow the manufacturers warranty MrsRicks has a copy of the warranty as she quoted it in her original complaint.I did contact our factory representative and explained the situation This was his response"We will not warranty this as this is no way near defective and shows mild wear at ½ inchThe Dewhurst is a molding and contouring memory foam bed so yes it will have a different feel than a traditional quilted bed".If [redacted] *** observes the mattress showing a deeper body impression in the future we will promptly send out customer service to inspect the mattressSincerely, Martin M***

Dear, Ms [redacted] , In response to Mr [redacted] complaint: I have attached copies of the manufacturer's warranty from Thomasville Furniture and customer receipts Over a year and one half after delivery of the leather upholstery the customer called about discoloration of leather in a few places Although the upholstery is out of warranty (attached) we sent pictures provided by customer to Thomasville for review Thomasville reviewed the pictures and after researching to make sure there were no other problems with leather upholstery manufactured during that time denied any responsibility stating that the leather appeared to have been affected by something in the customers home (lotion, cleaning products...) We were not told that a stain would void the warranty, but the stains can probably be removed, and we did not want to put any chemicals on the mattress thinking that would probably void the warranty.Regardless of how he measuredI sink terribly into the mattress When I lie down my body sinks completely into the mattress, with my legs much higher than my body When we purchased the mattress, it was soft and contoured to my body without sinkage Remember, its' only three years old and has been like this for about a year.I am terribly disappointed in the short life of this mattress which wasn't cheap and also with the terrible customer service

I wanted Hurwitz Mintz, to send someone out to the house to inspect the Sofa and now Love Seat for the pink spots. I do not want to accept this response when the other still has not be responded to by Hurwitz Mintz. Please look at the previous response to Hurwitz Mintz. Lastly, I appreciate your assistance with this matter with Hurwitz Mintz. I will be calling Hurwitz Mintz to credit my card, but, I still need them to respond to the other request

The customers first sofa was delivered on 9/17/14, customer paid $for sofa
When delivery men were carrying sofa up flights of stairs, the back was scuffed on wall in stairwell. A Hurwitz Mintz service technician went out
to attempt repair. Now the sofa has a hole in the cover. Even though the hole was not there when we delivered the sofa, we agreed to replace it
Delivery scuffed the cover on the replacement sofa while taking it p the stairs
The customer asked for a discount to keep the sofa "as is". We agreed on $200.00. The customer then decided that $is not enough and asked for $400.00. $is our the most discount we can offer. We will still touch up the scuff
Hurwitz Mintz has offered to pick up the sofa for a full refund
Customer can select a replacement that our delivery department feels can be delivered without damage or take refund
Our delivery department is not able to transport original sofa up stairs without possibility of damage
Customer stated that they will be out of town until 11/14/
A decision by customer needs to be made by 11/20/so this can be resolved

Dear *** *** I am glad that we can take care of the $for Mrs*** I did not realize that we needed to go back out to *** *** house to inspect the other leather pieces In *** *** statement dated 1/19/she stated "I called the customer service department of Hurwitz Mintz, the associate came out; inspected the recliner We also, provided him other pink spots so, he went to his car and took out a little bottle and touched up the spots." I assumed that the spots were repaired.If Mrs*** will call our customer service department they will gladly sent out a technician to inspect and repair the spots as the furniture is still under warranty.Sincerely, Martin M***

Dear *** *** This is in response to Revdex.com complaint 12334993.Our service techwent to the Ricks' home to inspect their mattress for reported defects on 8/18/17.He reported stains (water stains and blood spots) on the mattress which as mentioned in Sterns and fosters warranty voids the
warranty Even after seeing the stains he measured for body impressions To be considered defective the mattress must have at least and 1/inch measurable body impression Theirs measured 1/inch.We follow Sterns and Fosters rules when dealing with warranty issues and a***ing to their rules no exchange is required.I have attached the warranty, pictures of the mattress showing the impression and stains, and a copy of the inspection report.Sincerely, Martin M***Sales ManagerHurwitz Mintz Furniture

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11945771, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed  Reject:  Mr. Martin M[redacted]'s response,  I want to hold off from Hurwitz Mintz coming out to inspect the Sofa and now the love seat; Yes, we found a spot there as well.  I have too many unanswered questions relating to the furniture; and I want to obtain a written explanation from the Manufacturer to why these pink spots are appearing on the leather material of the furniture.  I want to know what caused this issue; and I want it in writing. I want them to provide it to the Revdex.com upon receipt, than to me. The delivery associate of Hurwitz Mintz called today deliver the replacement piece for the recliner.   Once this is obtained, the above referenced information,  I will know what my next action on this matter.    I am so tired fighting with this company over their inferior merchandise they sold us.   Accept: to call the credit department to provide the Credit Card # for the $149.00 delivery fee.      Regards,
