Out For Delivery

On 4/we recieived an email from the customerWe replied on 4/including a return form. On 4/the customer requested we send a shipping label. We replied informing the customer that we do not have return labels. The customer was given options, return the item
to us for a full refund or return the item to Dooney & Bourke for repair/replacement. Dooney & Bourke does cover the return shipping cost on defective merchandise. Customer emailed on 4/inquiring on return shipping. She was again informed that we do not provide shipping labels. All item are sealed in the original packaging direct from the manufacture and covered under warranty. It is our suggestion that defective items be returned directly to the manufacturer.Once the item is returned we will issue a full refund

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Dec. 18, 2018 I placed an order and I paid for 5 day shipping. I did not receive my item until Jan. 2, 2019. After an email to the company, I did receive a $5.00 shipping refund from them via paypal. I had to return the item due to needing it by Dec. 29th. Jan. 2, 2019 I put in for a return request shipping label online and the label was not pulling up to print. After being placed on hold for 20 min, I hung up and finally (after another 20 min at least) I spoke to customer service. I was told that I would not be able to print a shipping label due to problems with their system. I was told to call back in a few days. I called Jan 7th and finally received a link to print my label. The package was received back to them via UPS on Jan. 11th. I called customer service Jan. 18th and asked when I was going to receive my refund. She stated that my refund was issued yesterday. According to their website, I should have been sent a confirmation email when the refund was actually sent to the bank. She stated that she was sorry that I did not receive the email. I requested that it be sent again. Keep in mind, my email is in their system and I have been receiving other emails from them. She told me that she is unable to send me the confirmation. I was told I have to pay return shipping, which is stated in their return policy. Not only has it been a month of constant delays due to their customer service, but I also have to pay for shipping to return an item that I clearly would have NEVER purchased had I known that I would receive it so late. I copied and pasted this message that was printed at the top of my order confirmation email...
"Thank you for your order! Due to unusually high order volume, your order may experience slightly longer than normal processing times. We've got your back, though - we promise your domestic order for in-stock items will be delivered before 12/25! You'll be notified via email and provided an order tracking number once your order ships."

We have cancelled your order and refunded youYour refund was processed back to your *** CardWe had also sent you an email with the cancellation confirmation

I placed an order on 12-14-2018 for a billfold and a purse. I did not received the billfold and the purse was defective. when I email ilovedooney and letting them know I did not received the billfold no body responded them I call and explain my situation and they told me it was going into investigation. after a week of not receiving any updates I call back because I also return my purse I was told the billfold was send and I should have received it. and the refund is taking too long so I call back and ask to speak to a supervisor and was told do not call back and her recommendation was to do a police report for my bill fold. what kind of customer service is this that does not care about the clients. vey unhappy customer.

I am rejecting this response because:Below is the exact email response received by ILoveDooney's email representative in response to me informing them of the defective bag issue. As one can easily see in this email response, there is no mentioning of the options, as stated in their Revdex.com response. There is only the option to fill out their return form, which instructs to send the item back to ILoveDooney.com. In fact, ILoveDooney did not even talk about the option of returning it back to the manufacturer until after I had already sent back the item and after they had already refunded the price of the item but not the shipping cost. This was all because I had emailed them again asking about my return shipping cost, which their own phone representative had promised to reimburse as long as it was under $13. Only after the item was no longer in my possession would ILoveDooney.com even mention the option of returning it to the manufacturer, which was not even possible anymore. This all sounds like ILoveDooney.com is just trying to cover up for their own mistakes and their own inconsistent information among their customer service representatives, and by doing so, avoiding to reimburse the shipping cost that they themselves had promised.
