Review: I went into iTec on 1/10 to replace my iPhone screen. [redacted], the owner, helped me. I was hesitant about replacing the screen but [redacted] assured me that the screen would be exactly the same, that I would be able to trade in my phone with [redacted](and I would not be able to if it was cracked)and he guaranteed that I would not be able to tell the difference. He also let me know that if I was unhappy, I had 2 weeks to bring it back in as long as the issues were not my fault. I asked [redacted] again if it would be the same and he assured yes. When I picked my phone I noticed that the glass was not as clear.The next day I noticed the home button was loose and it got worse over the next few days. I also noticed that in certain lights I could see gridlines on the glass.I went into iTec on 1/16. As soon as I started telling [redacted] my issues, he got rude and defensive. He kept telling me to prove it. He said I broke the button and that it was a defective phone. I had NO issues with my phone before this.I told him I felt like he had not been honest with me.He said if I got a note from [redacted] on letterhead saying there was something wrong he would look at the phone. He told me that was the only solution, that he runs a good business and I was insulting him. I told him I felt like I had been ripped off and wanted to come to a compromise, whether it is a refund or he just try and fix my button.He then started to insult the company I worked for and told me that I ripped people off. He said was going to call them and tell them I was rude and unprofessional. I told him that I would not be able to trade this in to [redacted], because if I could tell that the screen had been replaced so could they.He told me I could sell it on [redacted].I said that’s not what you told me when I purchased this.He told me I only paid $95 dollars for the replacement and it wasn’t a lot of money. I told him if it wasn’t a lot of money to refund me. He kept telling me no, to get out of his store and that he then told me he was calling security.Desired Settlement: A this point I would like a refund, as I do not trust this business or [redacted] to fix my phone.
