in response to icarz offer to give a 3000.00 dollar credit to my account and keep the car that needs 4600.00 dollars minimum in repairs, I reject this offer. I feel it is offensive. I have asked nothing but the bare minimum from your company in return. far less than I will receive if I am to take you to court, which will in fact be my next step . this is my last and final offer. return 2300.00 of the down payment, retrieve the broken down car from my driveway and then and only then will I rescind my complaint from the Revdex.com. if icarz will not agree with these terms I will be forced to contact the California attorney general as well as channel 10 news on your side and ask that they do an expose on your company. I will also contact the bureau of automotive repair. also my own personnel attorney whom assures me I have a winning case. I feel compelled to let you know that if I am forced to take this route that I have contacted 9 prior I carz customers whom are willing to go the long route with me. I will ask the attorney general to rescind your business liscense as well as ask that all my expenses be returned to me, this includes but is not limited to..full down payment, car payments, tow fees mechanic fees, storage fees, lost wages, travel expenses (as I am unable to use my recently purchased vehicle) as well as court fees lawyer fees and pain and suffering.. again , this is my final offer and I am asking the bare minimum,, 2300.00 returned to me the car retrieved from my driveway and at this point only will I rescind my complaint with the Revdex.com. if I am refused this offer I will be forced to move forward with legal action. thank you

The customer gave us fake pay stubs, which is fraud and the customer should be thankful we have not pursued to press charges against him.

The dealership is willing to give the customer a $3000.00 credit towards the balance on his account, if and only if he withdrawals his complains and honors the contract he signed with Icarz Inc to pay off the remaining balance for the term agreed upon at the time of sale. The dealer is not responsible for any type of storage fees the customer has incurred on his own, while the vehicle has been in his possession.

Review: I had purchased a used 2006 BMW 325xi from ICarz with an issue that was causing the brake light to be on. At the time of purchase, Sean agreed to have this repaired. After a short time, he eventually took the car from us and gave a loaner vehicle while we were told are car was having its brakes replaced by BMW. When we were supposed to have our vehicle back, my wife was told we had to wait for BMW to finish and for the car to be picked up.

That was back in December. Now, the brake light is back on and the brakes are worn to the point of squeaking when coming to a stop. We called all the BMW dealers in the area to see if they've repaired our car and none of them had. I then called ICarz to try and find out why I was told my brakes were replaced at BMW yet none of the dealers had seen my car. I received a run around from the employees I spoke to and was supposed to receive a call back from the owner. I have not. After a couple of days, I spoke with Sean and he told me he never sends vehicles to BMW for repairs (even though I was told my vehicle was at BMW when it was being repaired). He said he'd call me back with who fixed the brakes and what work was done, but I have not received a call back.

This dealer is shady. He lies through his teeth to get the sale and hustles his customers when they need repairs. They had my car for four days to fix the brakes, during which time I was told the repairs were being done by BMW. Months later, when the brakes should have no issues if they were replaced, the brakes need to be replaced again and I find out BMW never did the initial repair.Desired Settlement: I was told my car was being repaired at BMW and it clearly wasn't. The dealership's employees are being deceptive in their business practices and that has put me in a spot where I need to do a repair that should have been completed correctly the first time. The dealer is not contacting me when they state they will contact me. If BMW did the initial repair like I was told, this issue would not be occurring.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. ICarz reached out to us and resolved the issue that this complaint was regarding. I had sent an email in to the Revdex.com stating this and forwarded the copy to ICarz; I do not know why it has not been received yet.

Business

Response:

ALL OF OUR CARS ARE SOLD AS IS. THE CUSTOMER HAS THE OPTION TO PURCHASE WARRANTY BUT IN THIS CASE CUSTOMER DID NOT PURCHASE ONE. EVENTHOUGH WE DID NOT PROMISS THE CUSTOMER AN EXTRA KEY AFTER HE REQUESTED ONE WE GOT HIM AN EXTRA KEY JUST TO PROVIDE A CUSTOMER SERVICE. EVENTHOUGH THE CAR WAS SOLD AS IS ICARZ INC SENT IT TO [redacted] TO DO WORK ON. [redacted] DID NOT FIND ANYTHING WRONG WITH THE CAR. I JUST SPOKE TO THE CUSTOMER I LET HIM KNOW THAT THE KEY IS HERE AND HE CAN PICK IT UP AND HE PROMISSED TO PULL HIS COMPLAINT.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:

I had the car back in there shop for the Automatic Transmission not going in to drive and was told it was fixed buy them doing a oil change on the transmission....WELL ITS DOING THE SAMETHING ...ITS NOT GOING IN TO DRIVE TELL YOU GIVE THE CAR GAS ...THIS IS NOT SAFE .....

THis car came with a Warranty and they are doing ever ting not to pay to fix

Review: I purchased a BMW 745i from this dealer with a 90 day warranty on the vehicle.after having the car in possesion for less than 10 days it began leaking oil, front dtr light stopped working, air bag icon remained on in dash, mirrors stopped working when car was in reverse.my decision was to tow it back to dealer for repairs mentioned.costing me 600$ for a rental car.the vehicle was kept for two weeks and the only repair made was the airbag icon in dash.ive realized for 10,800$ I was sold a car under false pretense.I was informed my warranty wouldnt be covering an oil leak that I believe all along they were aware of befor selling me the car.now I'm about to be out another amount of money filing suit against this business.this car is a 2004 and shouldn't have been sold at this price under the condition it's in.this dealer should be held accountable for selling cars in such condition.I feel they're very dishonest and not forthright with handling business in a professional manner.misleading in high regards.dealing with them has caused a mindset of BUYER BE WARE.TOO SUM UP THE AGONY THEY'VE CAUSED ME DEALING WITH THIS ESTABLISHMENT.HEEEED TO ALL WHO CONSIDERS YOUR NEXT CAR THRU THIS DEALER.Desired Settlement: Just want my car repaired as I was told would happen.my warranty should've covered whatever cost encountered.

Business

Response:

Hello [redacted], I would like to start this response with an apology for the misunderstandings we've had in the past few months. The warranty company did not want to cover the minor oil leaks on your car because according to their guidelines, small oil seepage is not covered by the service contract that you purchased. Powertrain coverage's only cover internally lubricated engine parts. I was under the impression that you knew this car has higher maintenance than any other BMW's because of the fact that you and your husband mentioned you have owned a couple of 7-series BMW's before. To accommodate you and your husband, I took delivery of the car when you towed it out to my lot. It was your responsibility to take it to them but I went out of my way to make things a bit smoother and easier for you. Please feel free to stop by or call if you have any further discussions or questions. Thanks -[redacted]

Review: I purchased a 2007 E350 Mercedes Benz from [redacted] at iCarz Inc. in Sacramento Ca, and the deal went quite well. [redacted] was a nice guy and assured me that I was getting the best car on his lot. He also threw in a 4 year 100,00 mile warranty, which I thought was very nice. I also thought to myself and asked him why would you do that. His response was that this was a new lot and I was his first sale so he wanted to treat me right. I thanked him, test drove the car and decided to buy it.Prior to purchasing the car I asked [redacted] could I have my mechanic look at it and let me know what he thinks. He allowed it to happen, and had it driven over to my mechanic. after the inspection my mechanic told me the car looked okay, however without any failure codes they could not know what the car really runs like. I valued his inspection and trusted [redacted] that the car was okay.A few days later on May 31, 2014 I arrived at the iCarz lot to meet [redacted] and make the deal. Honestly the entire ordeal was wonderful, and I wanted to say that because I truly believed I was being treated with honesty and respect. With that said the deal was made, and I drove my newly purchased vehicle home. The ride went well, until I exited the freeway and came to stop. When I tried to begin to drive again the car did not move, I pressed down on the peddle again and it sputtered. Upon getting home I immediately called [redacted] at iCarz and told him of the experience, and he said "[redacted] u purchased the car as is and u have the warranty just call them." My response was [redacted] the car is a lemon and just having purchased a Mercedes I should not be having this experience. I went on to tell him I am bringing the car back, and that's when he told me to wait until next week and he would contact me and work with me on the situation. I again said [redacted] just let em return the car and look at something else. Well things have gone on and he has the car for the last two weeks and only the mechanic called to ask to drive it to SF to check it out.Desired Settlement: I would like iCarz inc to take their car back and allow me to purchase a car that is not a lemon. It has been some 10 years since I have made a car purchase for myself, and I am not a rich man. I purchased a E350 Mercedes Benz and should not have to put a transmission in it. I was told it was the best car on the lot, and when I drove it home it began to hesitate and would not move when I stepped on the gas peddle. I just want this deal terminated.

Business

Response:

This customer had this car checked by his mechanic prior to purchasing. if there is any complaint on his behalf he should file it against the mechanic shop that checked the car prior to him purchasing it. The car he purchased was in top condition minimum scratches or dents and interior also was in great shape and that is why we were giving him our opinion as far as the condition of the car. This customer got a free 4 years 100k miles warranty that we paid $1230 for instead of filling this complaint the customer should try to get the car fixed through the warranty. If the customer does not feel comfortable with the shop that the car is in right now he can take it to the mechanic shop of his choice. [redacted] could not find anything wrong with the transmission but if the customer feels like there is something wrong he can take it to any shop and have it fixed. there is a $100 deductible on his warranty icarz inc will pay that as a courtesy. However one thing that the customer well understood prior to him purchasing the car was that he does not get to change his mind. The customer purchased the car AS IS from icarz inc with out a cooling off period but he has a warranty from Alpha Warranty. attached is the copy of his warranty and as is agreement.

sincerely

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: While I agree the car is a very nice looking car, upon driving the car home the transmission begin to slip/stall and I immediately called [redacted] and told him I was returning the car. In the state of California all contracts hold a 72 hour rescission period as set forth by the FTC, and as I stated, I immediately asked for the contract to be rescinded. However [redacted] insisted that I take the car to his buddies shop so that they could work with the warranty folks on accepting the claim. He stated once they accept the claim I would then be able to take the car wherever I wanted. I kept insisting that he take the car back as I was not happy with purchasing a car that once again I quote "is the best car on the lot", however the transmission goes out immediately.

Business

Response:

The customer from the above complaint [redacted], did in fact only receive a refund of $1500 from his $2000 down payment. He was charged a $500 cancellation fee. The reason we had to unwind the deal was due to the fact that the customer provided fake pay stubs, the financial company would not accept the deal and it was returned.

Consumer

Response:

I am the one who stated that I would bring the car back if he couldnt get me financed and also he asked if I had

a co-signer and I said no so he said let me see what I can do and I made all the inbound calls to him by me being

over two hours away I told him im not going to continue to drive the car if he couldnt get me financed and he said

oh its not that it is just the finance company hasnt been able to verify employment the fact still remains he cant

punish me because the deal was undone before that they continued to call me everyday saying they all ready

had me approved- hee paused and came back to the phone and said well since I cant get u finance im gonna

take 500.00 that sound like punishment of some sort I want the rest of my money if he needed more time

then he should not have delivered the car until it was finalized.

Business

Response:

The customer gave us fake pay stubs, which is fraud and the customer should be thankful we have not pursued to press charges against him.

Review: I purchased a car on aug 26 2014 advertised as in perfect cond. was told I would be 2nd owner and the car had zero problems. on aug 22 2014 the car broke down . I left many messages, over a month before first return call. the call was not in response to me but to ask for second .I explained that the car had broken down and asked that they fix it .the sec. said she would talk to boss and call the following mon with response if I went ahead with payment. I did. never got a response. that was sept 29 2014. I called again at least twice a week after until nov 10 2014 with no response only hang ups. on nov10 I MAILED A CERT.letter with same request, (rec.nov13)still no response. ON NOV 17 I RECIEVED A LETTER FOR PAYMENT DUE WITH NO MENTION OF MY PREVIOUS LETTER. DEC I MAILED 2ND CERT LETTER AND STILL NO RESPONSE AS OF TODAY JAN 26 2015 THE CAR HAS OVER 5800 DOLLARS OF REPAIRS (ESTIMATED QUOTE LANDROVER OF FRESNO) STILL NOTHING THE REPAIRS ARE MORE THAN I OWE . THIS CAR WAS PRESENTED TO ME AS IN PERFECT COND. I HAVE SINCE FOUND I ALSO AM THE FIFTH OWNER AND NOT SECOND. MY MECHANIC THAT WENT THROUGH IT SAID THAT THERE IS NO WAY THAT THEY COULD NOT HAVE KNOWN THAT THESE PROBLEMS EXISTED. AND THAT IT LOOKED AS IF THEY HAD COVERED SOME OF THEM UP. HE IS WILLING TO TESTIFY TO THAT IN COURT . I COPIED THE ORIGIONAL AD THAT SAYS PERFECT. THEY ONLY OFFERED A 24 HOUR WARRENTY FOR 500 EVEN THOUGH I OFFERED TO BUY ONE. THIS WAS AN INTENTIONAL MISREPRESENTATION AND FRAUDELANT SALE. I HAVE WITHELD PAYMENTS IN HOPES FOR SOME RESPONSE AND NONE.IT HAS BEEN NEAR 6 MONTHS AND I AM LEFT WITH NO CAR AND HAVE LOST MY EMPLOYMENT DUE TO THIS . I AM REQUESTING IT BE FIXED BY A CERTIFIED LANDROVER MECH OF MY CHOICE OR MY MONIES BACK INCLUDING TOW, MECHANIC FEES, AND ALL MONIES RECIEVED BY ME AS WELL AS LOST WAGES WICH COMES TO OVER 4600 DOLLARS . I HAVE GIVIN EVERY EFFORT TO TRY TO RESOLVE THIS AMECABLY WITH ZERO RESPONSE. PLEASE HELP ME RESOLVE THISDesired Settlement: FULL REPAIR OR FULL RETURN OF MY LOSSES AS STATED ABOVE

Business

Response:

The customer has purchased this vehicle with an AS IS Agreement which was signed at the time of sale. The customer entered his sales contract as of July 22, 2014 on which day the vehicle in question was in good condition. The customer already had the vehicle in his possession for 30 days when he first contacted the dealership. His first payment was late, second payment never received, and then his next payment was not received until 10/9/14. We have not received a payment since. The dealership had assumed the in house loan, but this does not make us responsible for any damages or maintenance incurred during the customers possession of the vehicle.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: the response from icarz is false they were sent the first payment aug.22,2014 (please see attatched) the day my car broke down .the second payment was not received until oct 9,2014 because I withheld it in hopes for a response to my many previous calls. I was contacted on sept 29 by their receptionist, and we had a brief conversation about the car and I was told to go ahead and send the payment and I would have action within the next week ( I did mail payment that day) and have heard zero in response since. as shown in the many reviews I have submitted with this response it proves that this is practice by the dealership that is not uncommon and in my opinion completely intentional. I am willing to accept 2300.00 and the company can keep payments and tax and liscensing fees and please come and retrieve the car as their will be no more payments and the car was drivin less than 1500 miles and has been sitting since.the car is not drivable and has not been since aug 22.2014.

Business

Response:

Please provide us with the information as far as where the car is being stored and if there are any impound fees associated with its storage. The dealership is willing to negotiate a refund of your down payment of if you honor your contract with us and bring your account completely current.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because:I believe that the storage fees paid by me in cash should be sufficient to bring the account to current since the fees in question are greater than the amount owed in payments. The dealer had until Dec. 12th, 2014 to respond to my letter stating that the vehicle would be stored and accruing fees. I think that this is a more than reasonable offer. thank you for your timely response.

Business

Response:

The dealership is willing to give the customer a $3000.00 credit towards the balance on his account, if and only if he withdrawals his complains and honors the contract he signed with Icarz Inc to pay off the remaining balance for the term agreed upon at the time of sale. The dealer is not responsible for any type of storage fees the customer has incurred on his own, while the vehicle has been in his possession.

Consumer

Response:

in response to icarz offer to give a 3000.00 dollar credit to my account and keep the car that needs 4600.00 dollars minimum in repairs, I reject this offer. I feel compelled to let you know that if I am forced to take this route that I have contacted 9 prior I carz customers whom are willing to go the long route with me. Business

Response:

Icarz Inc at this point is only willing to offer two options. The first is that we give you the $3000.00 credit and you honor the rest of your contract or you can bring your account current, deliver the vehicle to us and we will do the repairs for you.

Consumer

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: the cost to have the car brought to icarz would exceed 600.00 and it has already been proven to me that your in-house mechanic is not up to par. I would be willing to bring my account up to date if and only if icarz were to pay the repairs to a certified land rover mechanic which is located in fresno I also ask that the tow fees to the certified land rover mechanic be paid by icarz. I would be willing to bring my account up to date as soon as the repairs have been completed and paid for in full. I am no longer willing to negotiate back and forth, if we cannot come to this agreement I must move forward through the california attorney general and the court system.

Review: Audio system throughout car is unsatisfactory. Dealer agreed to replace speakers/ system if an additional $1000.00 was given towards the down payment. I contacted ICarz to resolve the issue and was sent to someone who not only did not resolve the matter, but broke a center consel in the car. I was told that my audio system will not be fixed by the general manager because I am complaining and not being rational.Desired Settlement: I will like to receive the $570.00 that will include labor and parts.

Business

Response:

The audio system on this vehicle was already repaired.

Review: I wish I had the option of choosing multiple "Complaint Types" because I would select Advertising Issues, Product Issues, and Repair Issues. ICarz, Inc. claims both in person and on a video on their website that their cars go through 120 point inspection and they take pride in customer satisfaction -- neither one of these claims was proven to be true in my experience with purchasing a car from ICarz, Inc. Within a day of having the car, it gave me issue after issue. One huge issue being that all four tires were missing TPMS sensors (which are required by law and are a huge safety concern). How can a business claim to maintain proper vehicle maintenance when the car I purchased not only had missing TPMS sensors but also required an oil change that I had to pay for myself when it should have been taken care of before the car was ever ready to sell? Not only that but the car also needs new tires and a new battery as the battery died on me multiple times just a few weeks after getting the car. The headlights also went out, the fog-lights are broken, new brakes and rotors are also needed, the wiper blades on the car were the wrong size (I discovered that as I used the windshield wipers during a heavy rainstorm and they fell off while I was driving!), and the cabin filter and air filter had not been replaced (I had to replace them myself because they were old and filthy). It is ridiculous that the car was sold in the shape that it was in. No one should have to put that much money into a car RIGHT after purchasing it from a dealership who supposedly inspects their cars and takes pride in customer satisfaction, when this is far from the truth--it is false advertising on their part. If I had known the car had this many issues and if I hadn't trusted John, the manager, in stating that their vehicles are properly inspected and in great condition, I would never have purchased the vehicle. Overall, a terrible car-buying experience and I would never recommend this dealership to anyone.Desired Settlement: In all of my attempts in speaking with the manager of ICarz, Inc, they fail to take responsibility and claim the car was in perfect condition when clearly it was not. I would like ICarz, Inc. to take responsibility for the list of issues the car has given me because of their false advertisement and lack of maintaining proper vehicle maintenance and inspection as they claim to do so. A refund for all of the unexpected expenses only seems fair due to their negligence and false advertisement.

Business

Response:

the car was sold as is and the customer got a very good discount. when we give discounts we dont have the room to go back into the deal and spend money on it. However in this case and as a courtesey if the customer is willing to withdraw the complaint and provide the receipt for the tire pressure sensor we will reimburse him for the money he spent.

Review: I paid 2500. cash for a car. in the late mouth of April 2013. I was inform that I would recieve payment information, an DMV info in the mail...

I went to the car dealership with my girlfrind, we test drove a few cars, then I found the car that I wanted. I told the salesman that I had 2500. to put down on a car. they then inform me that I need to get a car under 10,000, to put that amount down, and if I wanted to purchase a car over 10,000 then I would need 3000. down. Two weeks later I went back to purchase the car and they wanted 3000. down on a car that was under 10,000. I needed the car so I said to the dealer okay I will pay the extra at a later date., because I had to make sure that I wrote down what was said the two weeks prior. I paid 2500. cash for the car and I was told that I would get information from the finance company in a month on where to make my payments. and the same for DMV.I never received any mail or information from neither organization. I didnt know what to think. TWO weeks after getting the car I inform them that I wasnt working an havent receiced anything from dmv or the finance companyso I paid my rent and my other Bills,ie;smud, pge, phone, child support. then July 14 he call an said that I needed to pay 200. dollars.I return a call to him to informed him that I dont get my VA pay until the end of the month which at that time I wll give them 300. dollars because my car payment is 298.dollars July 30,2013 my car was repoed!!! At the time of the call that I made to the manager on July 14,2013, I asked him specificly if the end of the month was going to be a problem please call me an let me no because I really dont want to loose the car, I will pay you the end of July an I will give you double car payment at the end of August. he never called I had 2 Interviews July 31,2013 but My car was Repowed july 30,2013. I dont feel that was a professional act an I feel that I got played with this car dealership. Will you please help me that was all that I had an I know that I could handle the payment was I to have that information.Desired Settlement: I feel that I was honest with the company when we sat down to talk. I was informed of something that did not happen,I was thinking that they had everything under control and that my car tags an regestration was going to be on its way to me. I never receive a letter from the finance company or anything to let me know or feel that I actually purchase a car. and then out of the dark skies with no phone calls or anything from my supposelly finance company NO PHONE CALL FROM ANYONE TO SEE IF I CAN DO ANYTHING TO PREVENT A REPO OF MY VEHICLE.. And then the unthinkleable happen my car get REPOED. I would either like to have a refund of my money, because they were not very professional with the sale of that car to myself, its like im loosing 2500. dollars for a car for two months. Its not the way buissness is set up in America. If I can get my car back thats great also, but I would like to be informed of when the payment is due, an I dont feel that I would owe nothing but my first payment. preferably I would like to have my cash back when I think of the messy Job that showed me. I would like for my settlement to be A REFUND..

Business' Initial Response

[redacted] PURCHASED A 2004 LINCOLN LS ON 04/24/2013 HE DID PUT $2500 DOWN PAYMENT HE SIGNED A 553 CONTRACT AND AGREED TO PAY $500 BY 05/08/2013. FURTHERMORE HIS FIRST PAYMENT WAS DUE ON 05/24/2013. HE DID NOT PAY HIS DIFFERED DOWN OR ANY OF HIS PAYMENTS. I CALLED HIS AS AN OFFICER OF THE COMPANY TO NOTIFY HIM OF THE DELIQUENCIES. HE TOLD ME HE HAS LOST HIS JOB AND COULD NOT PAY THE FULL BALANCE OWED. I ASKED HIM JUST TO BRING $200 AS A GOOD FAITH PAYMENT SO I CAN STOP HIS CONTRACT TO GO FOR COLLECTION. LEGALLY HIS CAR COULD HAVE BEEN REPOED WHEN HE FAILED TO PAY THE 500 BY 05/08/2013 BUT WE DID NOT DO THAT AND GAVE HIM PLENTY OF TIME TO BRING HIS PAYMENT. THERE HAS BEEN A NOTICE OF REDEEM AND REINSTATEMENT SENT THROUGH CERTIFITE MAIL AND HE HAS RECEIVED IT. HE OWES 1764.55 AND HE CAN PAY THAT AMOUNT AND REDEEM THE CAR AND REINSTATE THE CONTRACT HE IS NOT BEING CHARGED FOR STORAGE FEE WHICH IS WHAT USUALLY PRACTICED WHEN A CAR IS REPOED. IF Revdex.com NEED A COPY OF HIS SIGNED CONTRACT OR THE REINSTATEMENT LETTER WE CAN PROVIDE THAT. THANK YOU FOR LOOKING INTO THIS CASE

Consumer's Final Response

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)

Let me understand this Business Proposed Resolution.I feel that I should receive 1500.00 because of the unprofessionalism that the company brought to me. I received nothing from the finance company to inform myself where to make payments are to send payments. Because I lost my job did not mean that I couldn't make a payment I was never sent anything to make the payment.Providing that I accept this proposed resolution, then I will be cleared of the car deal. I will not be committ to car company inc. In no such way.I don't want my name attach to anything that has to do with that car are the company. I do not need that on my credit Provided that that happens. I would accept the proposed resolution. an hopefully they will do this professionally.

Business' Final Response

there was a contract signed the customer failed to abide by the contract. when a car is financed and the customer fails to make any payments the car will get repossessed that is in writing and also common sense. we understand that the customer lost his job so we tried to make some special arrangement for the customer but he still did not deliver his promises. there are no basis for this complaint and even though there are no wrongdoings on our behalf, the company is willing to send a $500 settlement check if the customer withdraws his complaint and signs a release.
