ICC Collision Centers Reviews (28)

ICC did an awesome job on my car. I am more than satisfied with the service I received! They were very friendly and professional. They kept me updated on the progress of the repair and had the job finished on time.

I've had 2 of my vehicles in this shop for repairs. I must say that overall I am extremely happy with their service and competence. They always go out of their way to make sure you are 100% satisfied with your vehicle. Highly recommend. ..

Review: My vehicle was dropped off 11/11/2014 for a $3200 rear fender bender. My car was ready to pick up 12/8/2014. 27 days for a repair this small seemed excessive but being my first accident I shrugged it off as normal. Upon inspection of my vehicle in front of ICC (prior to taking it off of them) I noticed a few things. First, I noticed a portion of the bumper was pushed right up against the rear quarter panel. Next I noticed my trunk didn't quite line up correctly. Finally, I noticed the inner lining inside my trunk had a giant ripple in it. It looked kind of like trying to fit a 12 inch piece of paper inside an 11 inch box if that makes sense. I brought all of these issues up with [redacted], the representative that has helped me through the entire accident / repair. Very nice and professional guy. He stated that he didn't understand why the trunk was like that and said it was weird. He stated the bumper right up against the quarter panel was normal and is just how the manufacturer makes the parts as the bumper is brand new. This was right before closing, I was tired and wanted to get home. So I told [redacted] I would let the repairs settle in and give him a call. He said they stand behind their repairs and if anything is wrong just let him know.

The next day (12/9), first thing in the morning, I re-inspected my vehicle. At this time I was certain that the trunk was not normal. It was sitting about 1 inch off from what it should have been. I took my car back that evening after work and spoke with [redacted]. He acknowledged that something was not done properly and took my car back to fix it. I received a call the next afternoon from [redacted] saying the car was fixed and that they had installed the bumper incorrectly. After installing it properly the trunk lines up perfect and I should be good to go to come and pick it back up. After work around 5pm I went to pick my car up, for the 2nd time. Things looked much better. The trunk lined up the way it should have.

Over the next few days I noticed my trunk seemed extremely loud when closing. After leaving work on 12/16/2014, I noticed that the bumper portion that is right up against the quarter panel, is chipping and actually looks warped. This is a small area maybe 3/4 of an inch, but noticeable. At this point I knew it couldn't be "normal" so I wanted to check my other suspicion -- the trunk. It seems like it is much louder than before the accident when it closes. Well, it is hard to explain but, while the trunk lines up now that they re-installed the bumper, there is a small gap on the left side where there isn't on the right side. In addition I believe the trunk is actually closing and just barely hitting the top of the bumper. When it closes the little bumper things that brace impact are not even touching the inside of the trunk. I immediately call [redacted] and ask him if he remembers the portion of the bumper that I had brought up my concern about. He acknowledged that he did remember. I told him it is chipping paint and looks like its almost denting or warping. I also said I do not believe they installed my bumper correctly, again.

[redacted] told me he had to get a hold of his boss to see what he can do about getting this taken care of. He called me back about 20 minutes later and told me the soonest they could get my car in and provide a rental- is Dec 29th. I was astounded and confused. I told him that wouldn't work and asked why they can't get my vehicle in sooner. They are fully booked with vehicles until then. At this point I told him this was unacceptable and I felt the right thing to do was take care of the problem ICC has screwed up twice now. He said there is nothing more he can do.

This is a HUGE inconvenience for my family and I as we have waited long enough for this repair just to be pushed to the back of a waiting list so we can hope ICC gets this right on the 3rd try. I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at the end of this repair. I have holiday plans that shouldn't have to revolve around getting my vehicle fixed for a 3rd time and I am also dealing with another claim for this accident. This claim now has to be put on hold because it cannot go through until my vehicle is fixed - properly! If you order food and something is wrong with it, does your meal get thrown to the back of the list? No. Your meal would be the next thing to be cooked properly because it was screwed up the first time. Do you know what doctor's offices do? They have open appointments built in to their schedule for the possibility of emergency appointments etc. ICC books every single second of their work schedule two weeks in advance? $$$$$$$ is not always greater than customer satisfaction.

Do the right thing. Get my car in ASAP and fix it properly. I truly hope the 3rd time is the charm. Do this, or provide me a credit for a future repair to give me some kind of incentive to bring my business back to you.Desired Settlement: Do the right thing. Get my car in ASAP and fix it properly. I truly hope the 3rd time is the charm. Do this, or provide me a credit for a future repair to give me some kind of incentive to bring my business back to you.

Review: I was recently rear ended by a car, which resulted in minor damages. I went through the person's insurance, which is [redacted]. They recommended ICC Collision. I had no issues as I dropped off my car, but when I came to pick it up, as they days went by I noticed more and more issues that did not add up. First off, the mileage in and mileage out was 300+ miles different. After brought to their attention, I was later notified that it had been corrected after I picked up my car. Next, my "miles to empty" computer fuel gauge no longer works properly. I called again and only told that it could just be my car needs time to readjust to a full tank of gas. Prior to bringing car in, my gauge worked immediately. Lastly, I was driving and was using my bluetooth in my car to call someone when I noticed someone had added their phone to my car's bluetooth. I drive a 2009 Volvo, it has safety and protective features where a specific code is provided by the car to connect. Someone had to manually connect their phone and use my bluetooth capabilities. I called again to speak with the manager and he had no idea how that happened, but mentioned that cars are being rented constantly and people add their phones, as well as a possible capability that my car could automatically connect, which is false.Desired Settlement: I would like these issues investigated and determined what actually happened while my car was being fixed at ICC Collision. I would like an written explanation and supporting real photos or appropriate paper work to show that my car was not used inappropriately. If I need car repairs for my fuel gauge I expect it to be paid for, but I will be taking my car to my own mechanic to ensure high quality work and assurance.

Regarding your mileage complaint please note the following. You had brought your vehicle into ICC Collision Center on 04/16/2015 for an initial inspection and estimate. On that date we took a photo of your vehicle and your mileage {attached} and your mileage was recorded at 34342 on 04/16/2015. Later that month you brought your vehicle in for repairs on 04/30/2015, we again recorded your mileage at 34763, we also had you sign a repair authorization {attached} on that same visit where your mileage was recorded above your signature at 34763. Another form "the mileage form" {attached} was recorded incorectly to reflect the mileage at the time of your estimate 04/16 this error was corrected. We also took a photo dated 04/30 that shows the mileage at 34763. If not for the clerical error the recording would have been accurate however with back up document {see repair authorization form" and photo you can clearly see that your mileage was in fact 34763 at the time of the dorp off. This was also the mialege on your car when you came to pick it up.Regarding your Bluetooth claim I have no answer for you as there is no reason anyone would connect a phone to a customer cars. There is no advantage in doing so and further there would be no advantage to anyone to connect a phone to a vehicle that is not in use. I suggest that you take your vehicle to a Volvo Dealer where perhaps they would be able to tell when the phone was added to your system. Your vehicle has software that is capable of recognizing Bluetooth, you may also come by the shop to see if your car connects with a phone here. I am confident that nobody here has connected the phone, I think it may be advantageous to see if the Dealer can tell you when this happened, perhaps that will clear this all up. Finally in regards to your fuel gauge I would suggest that we have the Dealer take a look at your fuel gauge system. The damage to your vehicle was minor although it is possible that something could be displaced. Once the Dealer determines the issue and if it is related tot he loss or to the repair it would be covered under the policy. You may bring in your vehicle to ICC and we can take it to Volvo for you or you may take it there yourself. Keep in mind until it is determined by a mechanic that it is in fact related to impact or repair there is nothing I can do. Please let me know when you would like to address this concern so that I may assist you. Sincerely,

Consumer

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that there is no further steps to take with the issue regarding the business. I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Regards,

it is never a happy thing to be in an accident and have a favored vehicle damaged. we had repairs made at ICC COLLISION I Goodyear and were very happy with the outcome. not only was the work done perfectly, it was done within the estimated amount, in less time than quoted, and they even buffed out some scratches on the door for free, that were not part of the requested repair. we recommend them without hesitation. everyone we spoke with there was also very friendly and helpful. [redacted]

ICC Collision Center did an excellent job of repairing my [redacted] after a rear-end collision. It looked like new. They actually finished the work a few days sooner than the estimated date of completion, which was a pleasant surprise. I was able to get a rental car right there on the premises through [redacted]. I also appreciated getting an update every few days on the progress they were making on the repair. I felt that everything went very smoothly.

We had our 2006 Nissan Altima repaired at ICC Collision and they did an excellent job. While our car was there we were able to communicate with them with our questions. The work they did looks great!

I would certainly recommend ICC Collision Center to my friends.
