I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I enclosed a copy of the receipt if the certified mail that it was mail in December. Also to fill my car up is under $20.00 I have a Ford Escape. I was told to come back into the office on Tues. Feb. 2, 2016 and they will give me the $50.00 gift card. I will except they promise when I get the card.

We are actively working to resolve this issue.   We used a 3rd party marketing agency for this sale.  This company created and issued the flyers that were mailed. For the customer to receive the gas card they must fill out the required information and send it to that 3rd...

party company. Once it was known that Ms. [redacted] was unhappy our new General Manager called her and asked her to come speak with him in person. She agreed to do so. When she came to the dealership and met with [redacted], he at that time, learned that she hadn't sent the required information to the company. He explained that she needed to send in the information to the company to receive her gas card.  He also at that time offered to fill up her gas tank to help her out until she receives the gas card from the 3rd party company.  She agreed to that so he had her car taken to the gas station and had her tank filled. (approximately $30).  She said she was happy with that and left the dealership.  Shortly after that is when we received the notification of the Revdex.com complaint.  It has been brought to our attention that the 3rd party is taking a long time to send the gas cards to the customers.  We have made many attempts to reach the 3rd party and are still at this time trying to reach them to resolve this issue.

On February 2, 2017, an attorney for [redacted], Jenel S[redacted], contacted Supreme Toyota about the warranty issue. I spoke to Ms. S[redacted] about the matter and explained that Gulf States Toyota's warranty department had investigated the matter and made a determination that the ball joints were covered by the manufacturer's warranty but that the other damages claimed by [redacted] were not. Supreme Toyota's hands are tied with respect to the warranty work as the manufacturer has determined what is and what is not covered thereunder. Ms. S[redacted] understood the issue and stated that she would be contacting Gulf States Toyota to seek resolution. Given the facts, Supreme Toyota stands ready to perform any warranty work authorized by the manufacturer. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 11954456, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Supreme Toyota of Hammond is missing the point- THEY told us THEY would reimburse us for having the truck towed to our mechanic, put us in a rental car, and fix any issues caused by the ball joint breaking, which would be covered under the recall! Gulf States Toyota never promised us anything. SUPREME TOYOTA made all the promises. It was THEIR decision to pick up our vehicle from OUR mechanic and have it brought to the dealership! We have been without a vehicle since this has happened and have yet to get a resolution from anyone or even have an offer to fix the issue  on the table!!!! Supreme Toyota should have NEVER jumped the gun and made the promises made not knowing what Toyota's answer would have been!

Nothing has been actually fixed yet. I have been in touch with the them and they seem to be working on the problem but I will it be satisfied until the situation is resolved for good. I understand intentions but words are cheap at this point.

We have been in contact with [redacted] with regards to her tundra ball joint damage\recall.  We  have had the truck for 55 days. We have contacted GST warranty and was told, that GST warranty will cover the ball joints but not the incidentals as a result of the ball joint breaking. ...

We provided an estimate for the replacement of the components to [redacted], who then spoke with Aaron J[redacted] of Toyota Motor co. case # 1612012601.  On 12/21/2016 [redacted] stated that Toyota would be sending out their own inspector. On 12/22/2016 I spoke to an adjuster that said he would try to come out and inspect by the end of business on 12/23/2016. As of 12/27/2016- we had not seen an inspector yet. The adjuster did finally come out and did a thorough inspection.  We have either attempted to contact or have spoken to the [redacted] daily for the last 2 weeks. Neither us nor them have heard anything with regards to what Toyota’s decision is on this matter. I spoke to GST customer relations manager Cathy M[redacted] today 1/25/2017 and she contacted Aaron J[redacted] and stated that Toyota had notes that they were requesting a signed form from the [redacted] with regards to the inspection and the case. We attempted to call the [redacted] again today- left a message.   Jimmy N[redacted]   Service Manager Supreme Toyota & Scion of Hammond (985) 345 – 1425 [redacted]

The general manager has tried to contact [redacted] to let him know that a check is being sent to the address listed on the complaint.  I believe this should resolve the issue.
