Terrible!!!!
I signed up for 6 introductions July 2019 after hard-pressure sell my company sales person named Faith.
Up to date,11/11/2020, I have had 4 introductions, none of which matched what I am looking for. Multiple phone calls to see when the 2 remaining introductions would be scheduled, getting a run around, spoke to multiple people. Last matchmaker I spoke with (Adrienne) about a month ago, promised an introduction really soon. I still have not heard anything, phone messages are not returned.
Do not waste your money, its a scam

I have attached the contract from It's Just Lunch and there is actually a stipulation that I can get a refund less $if they are unable to provide services I would also like to mention that I received an email from Cherline from It's Just Lunch on 7/30/that was actually addressed to "***." This is unacceptable service Everyone makes mistakes, but one would think if you have an already unhappy, dissatisfied customer, you would at least take the time to review an email before you send it and make sure you have the correct client name!Thank you for your assistance with this matter[redacted]

Something similar happened when I first asked for my money back Only then did they inform me that my dating coordinator was no longer with the company and only THEN did they begin working on getting a date for me If I had not called them to ask why I hadn't been on any dates, who knows if I would still be waiting to hear back from the person no longer employed there After almost months, I have very little faith in their ability to meet my needs based on my experience They tell me they never refund money but how can businesses just choose to not refund money when they do not hold up their end of the bargain? This is shaping up to feel like a scam I have wasted precious time and energy with this issue and am ready to be finished with the whole business It is unacceptable business practice no matter how much a consumer pays for a service not to get what they pay for, but when you pay almost $3000, it gets more serious I just want my money back Regards, [redacted]

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed Administratively Resolved] Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: IJL has made promises like this over and over again All the response says is they regret their actions I see nothing being done that tells me they're fixing it I've been a member for months now I was promised ATLEAST dates in year In months, I've had My last date was 2nd week of May - months ago This is completely unacceptable for the amount of money (~$3000) they charged for personalized service From what I can tell based on other people's complaints I've seen online, this is very typical behavior for this organization They charge the money upfront and don't deliver They don't have any type of refund policy in place - so if you're not happy with the service - you just have to suck it up and deal with the fact that you just got duped out of thousands of dollars In my case, I was forced to join ***.com How is it that after spending so much money on this dating service, I am having to find my own matches? I didn't know that you had closed this I was told to contact you if the business reached out to me I said they were working to resolve my complaint but definitely have not They made promises to me that they said they would follow up in writing but another week has gone by and no one is responding to me again Is there way this can be reopened? matchmaker throughout her tenure with the company, meeting with our Membership Consultant for her in person Personal interview, ability to date in every corporately owned IJL location and involvement in the matching and selection process.The consumer has accepted of the matches IJL has presented, attended a date and her Personal Interview, IJL has also transitioned her to a new matchmaker and is moving forward with the matching processShe recently declined a match on June 5th after she was returned to active status when her credit card dispute was resolved in UL's FavorWe look forward to working with the consumer over the length of her membership and applying her feedback throughout the process to the recruitment search and select processWe look forward to helping her achiever her dating goals

I am rejecting this response because:I find IJL to be disingenuous and inaccurate. Although, they set me up on two dates, there have extensive time periods of no communication or response to my inquiries. Additionally, one of the reasons I joined IJL was for their personal connection and follow up post dates and neither of these promises have fulfilled. It will 6 months on June 26th and I have still only been on 2 dates. I highly doubt I will be going on 2 additional dates by the end of my 6 month contract as promised, this company shows a true lack of customer service which they claim to excel in. And the prospective men I have been shown (which has only been a total of 5 - 2 I went on dates with, 1 a date was never arranged and 2 I rejected) have not met my standards, because I have found we have little in common with and if IJL had fulfilled their contract ((and gotten to personally know me) they would of known that. I don't recommend this service to anyone and I believe it is a scam!
