Great experience with all the people at Illinois energyThe marketing guy Paul was laid back and friendly, never pushyThe install wen smooth and the man even offered to fix some quarter round around the door so it looked niceThe price is a little hefty, but worth if for the warranty

We had a great experience working with this company The entire process for us was pleasant All of the people we interacted with were professional and knowledgeable All of our original appointments were kept and the representatives arrived promptly on time (sales quote and install) When our door was ready we had to push out the install due to a vacation we had planned and they were very understanding and accommodating The sales rep was cordial and respectful The installation was smooth and on timeWhen the install was complete there was zero mess left behind and everything looked perfect The product is wonderful! I absolutely love my new sliding glass door and will call on this company for any future needs we have!

I had my windows installed by Illinois Energy years ago and they just replaced windows with broken seals no charge Even though I had windows with paint damage and the paint was out of warranty they still fixed it after I explained the situation They did the right thing

We purchased a front door with two side lites which was installed May 10, - in THREE HOURS! From the very beginning of our experience with Illinois Energy to very end the professionalism and quality of service was outstandingThe door was a little pricier than I had calculated based on some big box store selections I had been eyeing but it included EVERYTHING - hardware, new interior trim, installation, etc(which my imaginary figures did not include.) The quality and appearance of the door is also outstanding (better than my big box selections) and the big box stores don't offer a year warranty

My overall experience is excellent From the presentation to the installation it has been spotless work!

In response to claim activity report on 12/15/14, there are inconsistencies with the company's responseFirst of all, paragraph one states, "they provided service since the installation but only after they were paid." They were paid when the windows were first installed two and one-half years agoI understand that there would be some concerns with the moisture issue on the outside of the window, but when the one window in the middle has moisture and the other two windows does not have moisture, there is an issue with said windowAs far as I am concerned, the previous windows were in the house for years with no said issue of moisture on the outsideNEVER ON THE OUTSIDE
As referenced to the water inside the slider track, there was nothing clogging anything (weep holes)according to the techService tech cut notches in ends to help with water drainage that has never happened prior to second window being installed, which means the first two years were fine with the water issuePlease explain thatAs for said comment with phone conversation with owner, as far as being "an anomaly and what do you want me to do about it" is accurate because the phone call was recordedI did not misunderstand anything that was saidOn December 11, when new middle glass section was replaced for the second time, we will see in the near future when the weather changes or rains to see if there is any condensation or water in the slider trackUntil then, we will monitor any changesThis response is per my husband, *** *** who has been dealing with these issues since day oneUntil we have complete 100% satisfaction of these said issues, this complaint will be ongoing until it is resolvedIf you have any questions, I will be more than happy to have a sit down with the service techs *** and *** and owners to see if we can come to an agreement of this said issue

My comments in the last response about our company coming out after we were paid in full was merely a reminder of how the remodeling industry worksMost companies offer a lifetime manufacturer guarantee filled with loopholesThey also will cover their installation for year, and give you free service for yearAfter the year period is up they will charge you for every service call, $100-$1,Even if the issues were due to installation defects they will charge youThis type of warranty would be with approximately 95% of the window companies out thereBased upon what I see there have been some issues with your job as I had referenced aboveWe agree with our customers that we never want any issues with our windows, service, or installationHowever as hard as we try there sometimes are issuesOur company is always committed to resolve further issues even after our jobs are completed and paidI guess I am trying to set the record straightWe wish you didn't have issues, but you didIn response to your issues we had tried to service you on more that one occasionThe reality is you are not pleased with the resultI also would like to state again that the rule in the industry is that if there is not condensation in between the window pains that it truly is not a defectIn fact I could send you a whole page packet documented from a scientific perspective of why sometimes people get condensation on the interior or exterior glass surface of a thermal pain window
You had referenced that the previous window had never had that issueHowever it is not that simpleYour old center picture window may not have been as efficient as our thermal painYou also have a box window where as this window is protruding out of the home approximately 8-inchesSometimes humidity can get trapped in these type of openings when a window is efficient the reaction can be moisture on exterior or interior glass surfacesWe do see this in garden windows because they protrude out from homes and are in kitchens where there is a lot of humidity
I am concerned that you still will have the same issues even with replacing this glass pack system againI believe it has something to do with how the humidity is reacting in this room with this windowYou aren't having the same problem with your other windows and I want you to be confident that this doesn't happen on all people's windowsIt usually is only the protruding windows where humidity gets trappedPicture windows will react differently than size windows because they are so largeI would like you to understand what you are asking of my company which is simply replace the windowIf you go to a doctor and discover a problem with a specific part or problem they would focus on that problemif you had a clogged artery they would unclog your artery not give you a heart transplantI don't believe that your whole window was defective and needed replacingi believe that replacing the glass was the right course of action to see if it gets betterAs far as solutionsI am committed to try and resolve this further if this problem should still be a concern
If there are further issues we will come out and try to identify the source of condensation and understand your humidifier if you have oneWe could explore insulating the base of your window outsideI would also be proud to come out with my service manger to discuss any further if necessary

We had Illinois Energy replace windows in our house a few years ago, and just recently we had a leakTurns out the leak was siding related, but they came out and fixed it anyway even though our warranty had expiredThese guys put in a quality product and actually do stand behind their work!!!

We recently contracted with Illinois Energy Windows and Siding to install a patio door The salesman presented many options and prices were competitive including a Senior discount The installers arrived on time They were very professional and worked efficiently The work was completed ahead of schedule They demonstrated all the features of the door The workers cleaned up the inside and outside areas I would highly recommend this business to friends and family If I have any future projects I would not hesitate using Illinois Energy Windows and Siding again

I am very happy with the new front door with sidelights purchased from Illinois EnergyThe installer was clean and professional and their were many financing options availableThe door is well made and looks great!

I have not had a good experience with Illinois Energy The sales individual seemed pleasant and honest, and after numerous discussions with him we decided to go with them to replace all of our windows The installers came to the house and were pleasant and fine to work with We have an infant so they worked diligently to get everything done in a timely mannerHowever, we came to find out that the sales exec had lied to us about a number of items to land our businessMy husband is in sales, and is very successful at it, so we understand a good schmoozer, but schmoozing is completely different than lying We asked the installers to confirm the information that the sales exec gave us and they were unable to and rolled their eyes at what he had told usWe received numerous quotes form companies, and at the end of the day, went with Illinois Energy because the price was right and we thought the sales exec was being mostly honest (we know he is still trying to land the deal and sales is sales) Next, some of the service men have been far from pleasant by rolling their eyes and acting inconvenienced when we make appointments to have issues resolved All in all, our windows look nice, but dealing with the company has been a pain!

We purchased a patio door from Illinois Energy and had them install it We are very pleased with the quality of the door and the excellent installer He found unexpected damage below the old door and he repaired it professionally with no extra cost We would definitely use Illinois Energy again

I recently purchased new windows and a Front door through Illinois Energy This company was professional from the beginning starting with our sales rep Nate He came out and got started right away with finding out what our vision was going forward with our home We purchased our home years ago and have not been able to updated it do to lack of money We have had several other quotes at this point and just figured one more couldn't hurt The quality of their products were far superior to what we had seen from the typical companies We decided to go ahead with the work and could not be more please with the way it turned out We even had a minor issue and were surprised that the company was out within a few days to take care of it for us
