A company with many hidden costs. One tape to DVD can cost $45 with the extras added on to the stated $9.99 plus shipping claim. I had to investigate at great length to find out what was on the tape (I had forgotten but I knew it was important), it turned out they wouldn't transfer it because it might a copyright infringement, when were they planning letting me know? after I had given them the go-ahead.

The list of charges are:

Ship the tape to iMemories $5

Transfer to their hard drive $9.99

Ship tape back to me $9.99

Transfer to DVD $9.99

Ship 0ne DVD disc to me $9.99

Get an estimate of all the hidden costs before you decide to use this company, my advice is to not to touch them with a disinfected pole.

The DVD's were a hit with my family. I expect that extended family members will want to order their own copies, so I would like to subscribe to your cloud service and keep them in your site.

I will never use this service again. After waiting over 3 weeks, they refused to copy my submitted videotapes, citing copy-write laws. The US Supreme Court has determined that everyone may make 1 copy of their own videos for their personal use.

Every email I sent them took 48 hours for a response and they do not answer the phone for questions.

Their pricing is ridiculously high compared to their competition.

But their packaging is real nice!!!

I had an excellent experience with iMemories! The process of getting my movies digitized took less time than was predicted, so that was a pleasant surprise! Editing and creating DVD's online was very simple (and fun) to do! The finished products arrived well in time, which was my goal. I was kept informed of timelines throughout the entire process, so I knew exactly when movies were ready and when DVD's would arrive at their destination!

I would like to thank you for the wonderful experience of viewing our movies again. My husband passed away in 2010, I was hoping he was in more of the movies, but I guess someone had to take the movies. The first time I viewed these after 25 years I cried watching our wedding and laughed at how little the boys were and how much fun they were having. I gave these DVDs to my Boys for Christmas, they had never seen them, they enjoyed them very much. I would recommend you to anyone! If not for you we would never have been able to see these movies again. Thank you so much for letting us view our memories again. I also want to thank Patty for all her help. She was so nice and helpful. Thank you again!

Sent 6 VHS tapes with specific instructions to create 6 DVds. 3 months later still had not received the DVds but finally got originals back. Called company who said thatvI could view and download the videos to create my own DVds which is what this company does as a business. Told the rep I wanted DVds made from VHS. She said that I had not requested that when sending them in. She be lying. I lost well over $100 and got nothing in return. Today, I went into my Memories account to show some of my family memories online as a Christmas (last ditch effort) surprise and the site said that my trial membership has run out and I would have to pay a monthly or yearly fee to access the videos which I never received but were posted on Memories site. I CAN'TEVEN WATCH MY OWN VIDEOS WITHOUT PAYING AGAIN. Use a local service in your community and don't lose $150 and ruin your gift ideas like what happened to me. Try to explain this Christmas memory to your family. "Hey siblings, can you all chip in so we can watch family movies together on I memories "? What a joke

Recently I had 15 8mm video tapes converted to DVD. I called iMemories several times with questions. Each time I was greeted with a human being. No goofy phone mail menu option BS. Each person was professional and very knowledgeable in handling my questions or concerns. Many thanks. The senior management should be very proud of their employees.
Don't change a thing. It's working a lot better than other businesses that I have dealt with recently.

iMemories is working with the customer to resolve the issue.  If the issue isn't resolved to customer's satisfaction, iMemories will issue the customer a full refund.

I had a fantastic experience with iMemories! I was very excited about having old family slides edited and put on a disc that I could keep and share with my elderly parents. I was worried that the process would be too complicated for my computer knowledge level, and more expensive that I could justify. I was wrong! This was an amazingly affordable and easy process. iMemories communicated clearly with me and took me step by step through the order process. I felt like I was working with family friends. I highly recommend !!

Good afternoon - I have been in contact with company. I have also been on constant contact with [redacted]s who have had my VHS tape for several weeks stating they sent it to imemories. I was also advised imemories will redo a better dvd of my tape. This came from a imemmories representative. If my tape will be fixed and a better dvd/bluray tape sent then I am totally in favor.

The work iMemories did to preserve my home movies is exceptional. The quality of the reproductions is of the highest degree. The turn around time was quick. The correspondence was timely. THE COST WAS VERY REASONABLE.

I just wanted to tell you that the DVD's were a HUGE hit and even though I was worried they wouldn't get here in time, you guys made it happen! I will tell everyone that I know about your service and what a wonderful job that iMemories did with the movies and even the boxes are fantastic. iMemories has received this complaint and we have attempted to contact customer to repair her videotape.  She has not responded to our voice mails.  iMemories will repair her videotape for free if she will send the tape to iMemories.
