This is R*** N***I have a current complaint in (#***) for Impact Roofing out of Spartanburg, SC. I wanted to let you know that the caulking I personally did seems to have repaired the leak. I checked it Saturday evening and Sundaymorning after the rain Saturday night and it appeared to be dry. It's not a monetary thing with Impact now since I will not have to hire someone to come in behind them. I don't like heights or getting on roofs, but I did it hoping that the caulking would work. This being said, I was lied to multiple times by K*** S*** about when they will be there, or even that he sent someone over one day while I was at work, but my security cameras proved to him that nobody ever came. I would not recommend Impact Roofing. Coincidentally he did text me on the day he received my complaint and asked if he could come make the repairs. I told him no, I would do it or have it hired out. I do not trust K*** and I do believe that if I had not filed a complaint I would have never heard from Impact Roofing again. What do we need to do in order to put this complaint to an end? Like I said above, it's not so much a monetary thing now as a "just bad business." K*** told me via text that he would send me partial credit for the defective work, and I have yet to see that check either. Thanks to the Revdex.com for helping us! R*** N*** Jr

I have spoke to the customer and came into and agreement to refund and amount of the money for the job, I also remind the customer our conversation from were he first contact the company for the services, that I could not warranty the job because we were not sure were the leak was coming from, we
have made the decition to wait till another day of rain to make sure the leaks is stop completely to make sure that we dont need to go back out to the property

TO THE PROPERTY DUO TO WATER DAMAGES, IMPACT ROOFING WAS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES THAT ALREADY EXIST FROM PAST, THERE WERE MARKS ON SIDING IMPACT ROOFING REACH AND AGREEMENT WITH CUSTOMER AND SENT A COMPANIE OUT TO PRESSURE WASH THE ENTIRE HOUSE TO SATISFY THE CUSTOMERIMPACT ROOFING WENT BACK OUT TO INSTALL DRIP TO THIS PROPERTY BUT WAS MISSING TWO SLOPES TO COMPLETE JOB, SET UP A DATED WITH CUSTOMER AND HE CANCEL THE APPOINTMENT, HE CALL FOR ANOTHER APPOINTMENT THAT COULD BE NOT HONOR BECAUSE WE ALREADY HAD SOMEONE ELSE WAITING IN LINE,WE HAVE COMPLETED MOST OF THE DRIP EDGE THE MATERIALS IS STILL THERE, WE CAN REVERSE THE CUSTOMER FOR WHAT WE ARE NOT GOING TO COMPLETED AND REINVERSE FOR WHAT *** *** PAID FOR THE CAPS ON THE VENTS,

I A*** G*** employed Impact roofing to do my roof on my house also some work on the inside from water damage on September 20th of my roof leaked again, Impact roofing came out and repaired the roof again but has not come back nor have they tried to contact me to do the work on the inside from water damage that occurred again said they were going to send someone two weeks ago but no one has show upI have tried to contact MrK*** S*** but no answerI really would like to have my house completed and for them to honor their contract for the next five years if anything else go wrong with the work provideThanks Mr A*** G*** 864-***-***

R[redacted] Impact Roofing never mentioned not guaranteeing work, but that they saw a problem in the flashing that was causing the leak.  I have agreed to take partial refund for the work that was defective. I agree to pay for the wood work that was replaced under the roof line.  After work was complete, K[redacted] assured me that If any leaks came back he would be there immediately to address.  I sent him pictures on 3/20/18 of it still leaking after a rain. After multiple calls, text, and no-shows he came out one week later on 3/27 and saw that the caulking he performed was leaking. He said that his men would be here on 3/28 at 10 AM to repair. At 4:00 I called him since his men had not come yet and he promised they would be here that same day. They never showed up again. I do not agree to wait until the next rain event to see if it is still leaking to get the partial reimbursement. K[redacted] agreed via text on Monday 4/2/18 to send a check via mail. As of Thursday 4/5/18, we have still not received a check.  I have personally re caulked the chimney in the areas we found were still leaking on 3/27. If this does not prevent the leaking, I will hire a different roof contractor to make the repairs.

We understand Mr. G[redacted] frustration and apologize for the delay. Due to unforeseen issues within our company we have had a bit of a set back in making our appointments.  We sent a representative out to Mr. G[redacted]'s home last week to as the damages and made note of what needed to be done. spoken with the owner and he will be going to look at Mr. G[redacted]'s home on Saturday 9/30. Again I apologize on behalf of Impact Roofing and will get this situation rectified as soon as possible.

For the claim made by [redacted]
 Mr. [redacted] accused Impact Roofing of fraud due to the initial quote not having the drip edge for the roof on the contract.  The drip edge were not on the initial quote due to the fact that Mr. [redacted]’s insurance did not pay for this service. Once Mr. [redacted] and Mr. Sanchez discussed the drip edge being installed, he was then made aware of the out of pocket expense that would be charge to him. Mr. [redacted] also accused Impact Roofing for not completing the job when in fact it was completed.  Due to a few days of inclement weather, it was not possible to finish the drip edge when Mr. [redacted] initially required it to be completed. The dates that Mr. [redacted] indicated appointments were not kept, were due to the weather and Mr. [redacted] not allowing the work to be completed because he could not be there. His allegation of fraud and breach of contract is not accurate.   Addressing the matter of the damages caused by Impact Roofing, the company compensated Mr. [redacted] and repaired the items he indicated was damaged. The only thing that was not repaired was the ceiling that Mr. [redacted] said came from our company. The reason for this was, once the insurance company inspected the ceiling they indicated that this was a pre-existing condition that was not caused by our company.  Attached is an email and receipt of compensation that the issue with  Mr. [redacted] has been resolved.   Thank you   [redacted]BUSINESS MANAGERIMPACT ROOFING, LLC

We have spoken with the customer and have scheduled an appointment to discuss her concerns about the screens and her leak. We were not paid for or responsible for completing the ceilings. Will discuss with the customer on if she wants our company to complete the ceilings.
