I am rejecting this response because:The repair was not completed correctly the first time. Shipping both ways will cost over $100 for me and this charge should be incurred by the repair facility. It was their error that necessitated the shipping so I am being wrongfully charged for this.

Electrolytic Capacitors was Tested, De-soldered, and Replaced. All components was checked with curve tracer and replaced if found bad. All resistors was checked for correct tolerance and replaced if found bad. Circuit Traces was tested for continuity and/or repaired. Surface Mount Work was done on unit. Parts Research was done on unit. Pulled and tested all linear and digital chips found a bad TL082 opto ordered and replaced. Repaired traces under potentiometer that had feed-throughs missing. Customer may have to recalibrate board due to the potentiometers RMS, BAL, and CLM being pulled to repair traces. The biggest issue Mr. [redacted]'s board had was that there was a bad TL082 Opto that was failing. Mr. [redacted] was also recommended that he needs to recalibrate the board because of the potentiometers that we needed to install. I do not know at this point if Mr. [redacted] has had the board recalibrated to his machine yet, as that could be where the problem is coming from. In my experience they display false advertizing by displaying the major credit card logos on their website however they refused to allow me to pay for anything using any credit card (they wanted check only and when I told them I just wanted my part returned without repair they required that I pay return shipping and handling by certified check only). The provided a phone repair quote (they did not call it an estimate (After sending them my irreplaceable machine control board I received a new quote that was 43% higher). Very poor communications on their part of [redacted] who failed to return phone calls or e-mails, left the impression on one call that they did not know who I was or what part I sent to them and said she could not find my information.

I am rejecting this response because:I concur with Industrial Electronic Repair that there were 11 units submitted to them.  After receiving their quote for the repairs on all 11 items, I elected to have $1,200 worth of repairs on FIVE of the items, which precluded repair on SIX of the items. I received a mostly repaired main unit back, noting that the light for the radio was repaired incorrectly, and the dials were not repaired as promised through oral agreement.  The main unit was received in the same shipment with the intercoms that were not in need of repair.  To say otherwise would mean that IERC was holding onto my Intercoms that were not contracted for repair, and those non-contracted items were not retuned with the main unit after the main unit's repair was complete.  In other words, why would IERC have returned to me all the repaired items (minus the one that a $150 refund was offered), which were under contract to repaired, and then have held onto the remaining four items that were not under contract to be repaired?  Therefore, it must be that I was returned the non-contracted items in the first shipment, and after over a year of phone calls was recently returned the non-repaired contracted items, which total $525. Additionally, all of the items that I selected NOT to be repaired were the $25 repairs.  These were the functional intercoms that a $25 fee would be charged for cleaning if I so chose to have them cleaned, which I did not contract IERC to do.  I elected to have ALL of the non-working intercoms repaired.  I have received back FOUR NON-working intercoms, and therefore these must be the bigger ticket items.  Thank you for your time.

My personal opinion I would not, I repeat not deal with these people. I got scammed out of $3,300.00 that they promised me a refund and it never happened. With that being said that was months ago. I really don't know how they keep in business treating people the way they do. I had a operating station for my cnc Milacron that went out. I contacted these people and told me to send the unit in so they can give me a quote. A couple days later they said the could fix the unit with the following quote. I sent them the money and the fun begins. It was months sending the unit back and forth to them, 3 times to be exact. I told them there would be no 4 time and just refund me the money and they said no problem. Well, after weeks of run around and no calls back I began to realize I just got scammed. I began dealing with them in May and no refund yet. I just wished these people would just refund my money of $3,300.00 and move on. Shady business!!

Review: We sent IER a $5000 amplifier on Dec. 23, 2014 after receiving an estimate for repair. We had to direct deposit $2000 on Dec. 24,2014 into their account in order for them to repair our unit, as credit cards are not accepted. IER promised delivery by Fri. Jan. 2, 2015. When we didn't receive unit as promised we attempted to contact IER. We attempted over 20 phone calls to them only reaching an answering machine. When we did finally get a live person on the line we were told that she was on a cell phone away from the office and that the unit would ship out later that day. When we didn't receive unit as promised, we attempted multiple phone calls with no answer. On Fri. Jan. 16, 2015, 2 weeks after promised delivery, we finally reached Donna and were told it was repaired and it would ship out later that day. We received the amplifier on Jan. 19, 2015 and installed it into the CNC machine. It alarmed out just as it had before we sent it to IER. We then removed an identical amplifier from a different working machine and it worked perfectly as expected. After several unsuccessful attempts to contact IER, we were told by Donna that the amplifier was working when it left their facility. They had us send it back and we were told that they would retest the unit and repair it if necessary. After sending the unit back for repair, we once again found ourselves trying to contact IER with no success. When finally got in touch with IOER again, she said that the technician found some other things wrong and that we are waiting on additional parts. We waited several weeks and finally were once again able to contact Donna at IER and the unit was shipped back to us on March 11, 2015. The unit did not work when installed in machine. We bought a used amplifier for $1200 from South Korea and it is still working properly 3 months after being installed. when using a cell phone with a different area code, we got thru on our first attempt. Several emails and out of area code phone calls later, IER wont refund any amountDesired Settlement: We realized that they had attempted to repair unit and we told Donna,Marty and Josh L[redacted] that we were willing to accept $1750 in refund. We feel now that $1750 would only be partial compensation, but would accept it to soften the loss of time, money and production[redacted]

Review: I sent my monson-tison vavle to Industrial Electonics for evaluation and repair on September4,2015. I was told on the9th of september that they evaluated it and it would cost $1500 to repair and the repair would take 4 days. It is now November the 19th,2015 and I have not received my vavle back yet. I have been told at least 6 times now it's shipping out tommorow,then I was told oh they are still working on it,and again it is shipping out tommorow,and Donna L[redacted] keeps promising a ups tracking number but never provides one and gives one excuse after the other when I am able to contact her,she is regularly,"in meetings" when I call and never returns my calls. A 4day repair has now turned into nearly a three month ordeal and I have lost business on my end because of the constant lying to me on their part.Desired Settlement: To ship my part back to me and give me an entire refund for the whole amount I paid them to have this fixed!

Review: In January 2013 I phoned Industrial Electronic Repair to inquire about repair to my power supply. They told me their process was to ship it to them and they would prepare an estimate. If I was not happy with the estimate, they would ship the power supply back. I shipped my power supply to them on 1/8/13. On 1/24/13, I still had not heard from them regarding an estimate of repair so I phoned them. They had an estimate ready that I felt was over priced. I then asked them to ship my power supply back to me. They informed me that I needed to send them a check for $25.00; they would not accept my credit card for this. On 1/28/13, I mailed my check for $25.00 to them. After not receiving my power supply for approximately three weeks, I called on 2/21/13, and spoke with [redacted] informed me that they had received my check, but she had been having problems with her shipper, but she would ship it out to me that day. My bank statement showed that my check was actually cashed on 3/5/13. On 3/15/13, I called and spoke with [redacted] again. She informed me that it had not been shipped, but she would mail it out immediately. Called again on 3/21/13, spoke with [redacted] again. Again she promised to ship that day. Since that day, I have called numerous times only to get their answering machine. I left messages but they have not been returned. Today is 4/3/13, and I have still not received my power supply.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my power supply back. I would also like to see this company have some kind of accountability. The Revdex.com has over 30 similiar complaints.

Review: I sent in a power supply to be repaired February 2012 and it has been over a year now. They immediately charged my credit card and have never returned the repaired part to me to this day. I have called several times and spoke to the owner and they said they had misplaced it but would get it to me ASAP! I have also spoken to [redacted] who told me on Feb 19, 2013 that she would look into it and call me back. I left a message for [redacted] last month but still no return call. I tried to call them today and [redacted] mailbox the main number for them is full. I have lost both money on this and a rare power supply that I don't think I could ever find or replace. I am very unhappy and have never been scammed like this before in my life.Desired Settlement: I would like my refund of my money that I spent and I would like the failed power supply returned. Over a year is just unacceptable.

Review: We sent a board in for repair and evaluation. They responded stating that they could repair but, we would have to pay before they returned the board to us. We sent in the check and they cashed it and now it is getting to the point that they will not answer our phone calls about the return of our unit. They must have caller ID because sometimes we can get through with a cell phone only to get another story as to why they have not returned the board to us.Desired Settlement: I would like our money and board returned, and the prosecutor notified about this company. As I investigate them I see that this has gone on with several people. I THINK THAT IT IS TIME TO PUT A STOP TO THIS TYPE OF CRIME!!!!
