Review: In mid Sep I contacted the company over the phone and received a quote for repair for $800. After receiving the unit, the company charged me $1200, which I agreed to pay (sent cashier's check on Oct. 21, via USPS. I received the repaired unit on Oct. 25 and immediately proceeded to install the unit in my compressor. The electrician could confirm that the unit was dead and not operable. I contacted the company IER and informed them, and they denied any wrongdoing. Atlas Copco has checked the unit and they could confirm that due to the repair performed the unit has forgotten the programming which should have been performed at the time of the repair. At NO time I was made aware of this situation by IER. I have tried to contact them again for the past 6 weeks, but they have consistently denied my calls and promised to call back, which they have not done one single time. I have a "repaired unit" that is totally useless and for which I paid $1,200 and the IER offers no solution, they only hang up on me every time I call.Desired Settlement: I would like to have my money refunded, since the unit has not been repaired at all , and I will need to have it fixed by another company.I have tried several times to reason with IER but they are totally unwilling to cooperate with me in any way. Therefore, I would ask them to refund the money I have paid for a NON-Repair item.

Review: Industrial Electronic Repair has had a motion card out of our punch machine for a second time now for nearly 5 months. This does not include the first attempted repair that failed and also took nearly four months. Despite many, many calls just asking this company send our board back and refund our money, we have had no luck. We have also had our lawyer send letters to them as well requesting they refund our money and return our board with legal action pending, but to this date still nothing from these people.Desired Settlement: At this point we simply want our money back and our board returned. If this company has damaged our board in anyway and it is beyond repair, we will have no choice but to pursue compensation for a replacement.

Review: I sent this company two electric fencers to be repaired after I contacted them and was told to ship them the fencers and they would give me a quote. I sent them on November 25th and had to contact them two weeks later to get the quote. After getting a verbal quote I asked them to repair one and then send both fencers back. I mailed them a cashiers check on december 19th and have yet to receive the fencers. I have been calling twice a week for over a month and I have been told every time that they will ship the fencers out that day but still have yet to receive them as of 2-18Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my two fencers back with one of them repaired as they have been paid to do so

Review: I sent this company an engine control board off of a Kohler generator mid-July of 2015. They of course wanted payment upfront in the form of a check. I obliged. When weeks went by and we hadn't heard from them nor received our part back my co-worker began trying to reach them by phone. Sometimes they'd answer. Many other times it would just ring and go to voicemail, almost like they were screening their calls. When he did finally talk to them, Donna in specific, he got the run-a-round. One day the part was ready to ship, the next they were just finishing it up. This went on for weeks. Then I started calling about every day for a week or more. I left a very stern voicemail for Donna and decided I was done talking to her because at that point I didn't believe a word she said. To my surprise the part showed up a few days later, 2 whole months from the day we sent it out. It was installed and then determined that the control board was NOT in working condition. I called the company back to ask them to refund my $775 and was told no. They said I could send it back to them for warranty work but after all the hassle we'd already been through that was not about to happen. Donna's final comment to me was that I could go ahead and contact my lawyer. You and I both know that hiring a lawyer out of state, or anywhere for that matter, over $775 is not cost effective. Simply put, stay away from this company!Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund based on the fact that they are slow, deceitful, terrible to work with, and most importantly the part was returned not working!

In my experience they display false advertizing by displaying the major credit card logos on their website however they refused to allow me to pay for anything using any credit card (they wanted check only and when I told them I just wanted my part returned without repair they required that I pay return shipping and handling by certified check only). The provided a phone repair quote (they did not call it an estimate (After sending them my irreplaceable machine control board I received a new quote that was 43% higher). Very poor communications on their part of [redacted] who failed to return phone calls or e-mails, left the impression on one call that they did not know who I was or what part I sent to them and said she could not find my information.

Review: I contacted [redacted] at industrial electronic repair when I needed a repair to a servo amplifier board for my CNC mill. [redacted] informed me that I would need to send in the board for diagnosis after which she would provide me with a repair quote. Within a few days [redacted] called me with a quote of $1000.00 for repair and additional $25.00 for shipping . When asked what type of payment they would take [redacted] informed me they only take cash or wire transfer. Against my better judgement I sent a wire transfer in the amount of $1025.00 for the repairs . After approximately 1 week I called to check on the status of the board. [redacted] said that the board had been sent out a few days previous . I was pleasantly surprised ! Or so I thought ! I received the board a few days later via Fed Ex. When I opened the boxI found the repaired board in an anti static bag packed nicely but no paperwork of any kind. No receipt , nothing stating what was repaired, no parts list, no warranty information, NO NOTHING !When closely inspecting the board I found only 1 capacitor which had been replaced and nothing else !The capacitor which was replaced is a simple component available at any electronics repair store for a few dollars . I installed the circuit board and attempted to use my machine during which the circuit board status LED illuminated with an error. Several attempts were made to try and get the board to work properly but with no success . I immediately contacted [redacted] to tell her the board was not working. [redacted] informed me that I would have to send the board back to them for inspection. I asked [redacted] what exactly was replaced during the repair she said she would have to talk to the tech that repaired the board and would get back to me in 1/2 hour. Several hours had passed and no call ?I called back at which time no one picked up. I left a detailed message asking for someone to call me ASAP. I have left 3 or more messages with this company and no one will return my messages or pick up the phone.Desired Settlement: I would like to get a refund minus any parts which they may have installed while in for repair. As far as I can tell the only item replaced is a capacitor which is worth a few dollars. I do not mind paying for a repair when it is done properly! At this point in time I do not want to send my board back for any reason. After reading the reviews for this company on Yelp and Revdex.com I can see that iam not the only one that has had these types of problems.

Electrolytic Capacitors was Tested, De-soldered, and Replaced. All components was checked with curve tracer and replaced if found bad. All resistors was checked for correct tolerance and replaced if found bad. Circuit Traces was tested for continuity and/or repaired. Surface Mount Work was done on unit. Parts Research was done on unit. Pulled and tested all linear and digital chips found a bad TL082 opto ordered and replaced. Repaired traces under potentiometer that had feed-throughs missing. Customer may have to recalibrate board due to the potentiometers RMS, BAL, and CLM being pulled to repair traces. The biggest issue Mr. [redacted]'s board had was that there was a bad TL082 Opto that was failing. Mr. [redacted] was also recommended that he needs to recalibrate the board because of the potentiometers that we needed to install. I do not know at this point if Mr. [redacted] has had the board recalibrated to his machine yet, as that could be where the problem is coming from.
