What started off as a very positive experience with Expansion-Industries quickly turned negative After four months of enjoying great prices and outstanding customer service (Oct to Jan 2016), the company simply failed in every way imaginable After placing a sizable orders for ammo in Feb and May of 2016, I experienced long and unnecessary delays in shipping At first, the company's President, MrRichard Smissen, responded with a litany of excuses for the delays While waiting for the shipments of three orders, I experienced three squib rounds Citing the company's self-professed 100% guarantee for any faulty ammunition, I contacted the President again, and he explained that he would "make it right." In June 2016, I had neither received the three orders nor the replacement for the faulty ammunition In July, I asked MrSmissen to cancel all orders and provide a full refund To which, MrSmissen stated that he would do so immediately After hearing nothing, I called MrSmissen approximately times and sent as many text messagesand heard nothing Their customer service has transcended beyond negligent to absurd and possibly criminal After years in the shooting industry, this is the absolute worst experience I've had with any company I not only do not recommend anyone does business with this company, I'd recommend actively avoiding them altogether based on the way they treat loyal customers

Ran across these guys at a gun show. They seamed friendly and I wanted to support a Virginia company purchased ammo from them with a 3-4 week shipping promise it's been 7 1/2 weeks and still no ammo only excuses and rudeness on the phone.
On April 17, 2016 I placed an online order with Expansion Industries. It was for 1,000 rds of 9mm. I have not received this order. I have contacted EI several times and have spoken to a representative twice and the supposed owner once. Each time I was promised a resolution. In one case they promised to send me T-shirts as well and in another instance they promised to send me "extra" rounds. The owner promised to resolve my situation ASAP. Months have gone by since I have been able to get a hold of anyone. I have sent numerous Facebook posts and called almost daily. No one answers their phone and no response from FB. They have had $224.95 of my money through AMEX since April and I have requested they refund my money on several phone recordings.
I stumbled on to Expansion Industries while at the Dulles Expo Gun Show. They had an impressive booth that was well staffed and incredibly busy. The sales staff was very informative, engaging and very friendly about explaining their products. They were very upfront that it would take a few weeks following the show because of the surge in orders. I got a call a week out from the delivery and it arrived just as promised and exactly the caliber and grain I had ordered. I've made my way through a hundred rounds of it, and I have not had any issues!! Don't listen to the negative reviews. These guys are awesome and provide awesome service and a great product for an affordable price!

The 500 rounds of 9mm ammo was back ordered when I purchased it.Even so it was delivered within a couple of days of the estimated delivery date. I am very satisfied with Expansion and will be ordering from them again.
I submitted an order for 1,000 rounds of 40 cal, reman. It took a couple weeks which made me happy. Expansion industries provided a high quality product just as they advertise and I will be ordering again soon
I've been waiting nearly 5 months and still have not received my order. No satisfactory communications or call-backs from the company either. I DO NOT recommend.
