We bought 1000 rds of bulk 9mm from EI at a recent gun show. This is a fairly young company that is growing extremely fast. Our order took a little longer than initially expected, but once their national sales director personally explained everything to us, we understood and received our order shortly after. The product has been flawless and great for range use. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for reasonably priced bulk ammo.
Do NOT do business with this company whether your buying product from them or providing a service. I've purchased ammo from them in Sept 2016 they charged my card and have not delivered. Adam (company rep) contacted me and gave me a song and dance about re-tooling and that my order was right at the top and should ship before Thanksgiving. I naturally assume it was Thanksgiving 2016 but I think he was referring to Thanksgiving 2017 or 2018 because I have received nothing so far as November and December 2016 have passed. No communications from this company at all. I contacted the business located next door and asked if EI was in business and was told that there were people there and he had several salesman that had stopped by and asked whether EI still open because there we owed money from EI and haven't been able to contact them. This place is out of business by my guess. I would advise others that have substantial investment in the company to hire a lawyer and stand in line and you might get a few pennies on the dollar. Great price and product! Arrived earlier than expected. Customer Service was super helpful when I had issues with the online ordering. I would highly recommend and hunting, gun and shooting enthusiast to buy at Expansion Industries.
Extremely poor customer service. I received my ammo in the mail 4 weeks after placing the order. Longer than any other company that I have ever ordered from. I called the company numerous times and was told their typical turnaround time is three weeks (21 days) though they charge your credit card the day you place the order. Definitely not a company I would ever recommend.
I was told upfront about their back log in production, it was never an issue,
my order was ready when they said it would be, and no other problems
shipping was great and the pricing sells its self.
I ordered 500 rounds of 9mm from Expansion Industries during a gun and ammo show in the Dulles Convention center. While ordering I took the opportunity to talk with a few of the employees about their company and was happy to hear about their small business success. American owned, American values, small town U.S.A. Great story. The ammo I ordered was remanufactured and arrived like new, in great shape, clean and uniform. I am very pleased with the product and service. Counted out my order totaled 503 rounds, lucky me.
+ quality. All of the ammo was in great shape and uniform. I reload, my caliper measurements showed negligible differences per round.
+ performance. I have been to the range 3 times with this ammo and have fired just short of 200 rounds. No malfunctions, failures to feed, good grouping and clean firing. Time to order more.
+ Sevice. The ordering process was a snap. It took exactly as long as I was told it would for my box to arrive. No surprises, they were very forthcoming with their information.

Positive experience, here, with Expansion Industries. Recommended by the salesman in my local sporting store, I took a flier and ordered 500 rounds of their house 9mm 115gr FMJ. While expecting immediate delivery and not knowing any differently, I was surprised when did receive an e-mail within a week saying that March orders were just completing production in the first week of April. The next e-mail was a shipping notification the following week, and my box of ammo was delivered two days later. Overall, I'm satisfied with the communications and now better understand their production model, which is to satisfy orders once received, rather than to build up inventory. I like that it's a Virginia operation, also, which is simply a personal preference.
I cannot comment on the quality/reliability of the ammunition yet, as I haven't gone to the range. If there are any issues, I will revise my review or update with another post.
