Infinity Exteriors Reviews (27)

email sent to [redacted] 8/4/2016: Hello [redacted], I have looked over everything and spoken to MJ about your project in detail.  I understand you are upset with finding what you are considering sub-par workmanship however I am not understanding the compensation you are asking for.  There are two questions here:1.  Did we do the work incorrectly?2.  Did we charge you for something that we did not complete.  (Which you would deserve a reimbursement)The answer to both of these questions is no.  The detail at the roof edge requires us to install Ice and Water barrier and a new start shingle which we did.  An argument can be made for the necessity of the new flashing at the roof edge, which we were more that willing to provide at no charge had you not had the roof replacement by another contractor.  The "missing" wood is from a fascia board that was cut short on construction of the home.  (Not incredibly uncommon)  In order to fix this we would have had to remove, and probably replace, the gutter system and all of fascia board.  We were not contracted to do this nor did we see it as necessary to install the roof system that we were contracted to do.  The roof did not have issues at the gutter edge since the original roof was installed so we saw no need to ask for a change order for all new gutters and fascia boards.Since we did not charge you for extra wood replacement and you paid nothing to correct any sagging of the shingles, nor should you have, I don't feel compensation is required.  Thank you,[redacted]Owner----------------------- after this email Infinity heard nothing from [redacted] until his Revdex.com response that he is not happy with our explanation. Today, Aug 11, 2016 12:30pm [redacted] called [redacted] to discuss the situation in more detail, and to ask what [redacted] what dollar amount he is looking for.  [redacted] offered $500 back, [redacted] said he would have to think about it and get back to us. [redacted],Infinity Exteriors LLC

I am writing in regards to a customer concern #[redacted].  I have been in contact with the homeowner and have agreed on a compete solution to the issues he has experienced with Infinity.  We are going out to the house on October 16th to  address all of his concerns and he...

actually mentioned having us do some additional work for him.  Please let me know what other information you need. Thank you,

After the office, [redacted], was made aware of any damage to the neighbor's home on 9/23/25, [redacted], our Service manager immediately called the owners to discuss a time to come meet to assess the damage.  [redacted] our Service Manager came to the home to inspect on the agreed upon date of Sept 29th....

After assessing the damage [redacted] did agree that it was not normal for that to happen and repeatedly apologized.  When the homeowner called to say they had a quote for $1800.00 to paint the siding he said he needed to speak to the owners because that quote is higher than what we could pay to have it done. After speaking with myself and the other owner, Josh, he said that we would either be happy to split that cost of the quote you received or use our in-house painters to paint it at no cost to you.  [redacted]'s notes then indicate he was waiting to hear back from you as to weather or not you wanted to accept the $900.00 to put toward your estimate or if you wanted to have us paint it. I have no notes about the call on Aug 17.I do sincerely apologize for what looks to be a miscommunication between you and the Service Manager [redacted].  I assure you there was no ill intent and we will be happy to repair any damage that was caused to your home either by crediting you the amount discussed or re-painting it ourselves. As for the broken light, I personally did not know anything about it, but will be happy to replace that set ( with a like set or compensate a reasonable value) Please, contact me at your earliest convenience at ###-###-#### or [redacted] and I will be happy to further assist you.   Sincerely,[redacted]

Regards,
[redacted]I received a e-mail from [redacted].  We talked and she was looking for additional information.  She found out that I already was in contact with her husband and he received info and photos.  Her husband did not tell her,  she thought my first complaint was thru Revdex.com.  She was going to talk with him and then get back to me.  I told her if she needed more help I could resend the info to her. Thanks,[redacted]

Tell us why here[redacted], I apologize you do not feel the job we preformed was what you paid for. I am in the process of looking further into your notes and pictures from the job.  I will be in contact with you by tomorrow afternoon, after gathering all of the information related to this...

situation.  I do see in my short investigation that the Service ticket for the complaint was made in December of 2014 and [redacted] came out saw the defect and then made plans for the repair in the warmer weather when the shingles were not frozen. Then when it was discovered the problem was the short decking you and [redacted] met to discuss and make a revised plan to repair.  Infinity is proud to have our lifetime workmanship warranty that covers any defect due to installation. If the repair that was initially done was not sufficient we should have been made aware of it (upon its discovery)so we could have fixed the additional problem that was larger than what was discovered upon our initial inspection( the areas where the shingles were not lying flat)  I do have a few additional questions: Was the roof completely redone, after the hail damage?  Was the defect (gap) discovered by another contractor?  Was the additional repair to the decking preformed by someone else?  Infinity is a honest, hard working, family owned, business that does everything in it's power to keep customers happy and referring us to their family, and friends. We are truly sorry we have let you down and I assure you it is not being taken lightly. Please, feel free to contact me in the office at ###-###-#### before tomorrow if you have any other questions.  Kindest Regards, [redacted] Owner...

Regards,
[redacted]  we talked about the email dated 8/04/16.  1.Did we do the work incorrectly.  I said everyone I talked to said the gap should have been taken care of.  [redacted] agreed.  When I explained how the contractor that did my new roof replacement accomplished the project [redacted] interjected how it should have been done "correctly."  I asked him if he got the irony of the comment.  2. Did we charge you for something we did not complete?  I had the contract and I referenced the portion about the ice and water shield.  Furnish and install...  Ice and water barrier will be installed under all valley metal and around all roof penetrations.  When I asked he he considered the area were I could put my hand into the attic space a roof penetration, he agreed.  When it came to compensation,  I said it seems you want zero so what if I say reimburse the whole amount.  He did not like that scenario.  I said for him to come up with a price and he stated he was not going to act like a used car salesman.  I asked what the cost of the roof was and he stated that was immaterial.  I think it has a great deal to do with it. There is a cost of materials and labor involved and I was trying to come to desirable conclusion. I knew we were at an impasse at that moment and I stated we should both sit and think of it.

Infinity will absolutely stand behind our workmanship and certainly complete any outstanding contract work that has been missed.  Not installing the RIDGE VENT was a big oversight and for that I do apologize, however Infinity DID INSTALL SOFFIT VENTS at the time the roof was replaced. ...

Infinity was NOT CONTRACTED TO INSTALL BAFFLES.  As I stated in an email to you on March 10 2017 @12:33PM Infinity would have had [redacted] or another tech out within a week to cover the existing gable vents and install the ridge vent that was listed in the original contract, or at your earliest convenience. However you did not contact us to complete the work at that time, instead you emailed me that I would hear from your attorney.  Again, you mentioned installing baffles in the attic, however that was not in the original contract or scope of work as [redacted] explained when he and [redacted] spoke on 2.22.17.  I have also spoke to every gutter tech that was at your home both originally and in August of 2016 for the service call.  In my discussions, all of them said that the only defect with the flow of your gutters was that they were clogged with debris from the surrounding trees.  It had nothing to do with the pitch or angle of the downspouts originally installed.  While at your home the gutter team not only cleaned the clogged gutter but also adjusted the pitch/angle of the downspout in an attempt to "rig" a way to allow more debris in the downspout (at no additional charge for either item).  They also added the 8' extensions that were not included in the original quote or contract (again at no additional charge).  In speaking specifically with Mark and Mike they both recall a discussion with you about their recommendation to you about adding gutter protection as the best means of prevention from this problem happening in the future.  I know that you also said that there was a "nail" through a downspout that also contributed to the clog, however the gutter crews do not use nails to secure gutters because they do not stay in or hold aluminum, they only use small zip screws.  Infinity is not liable for any water damage caused by the water back up caused by your gutters.  The gutters were installed to manufacturer and warranty specifications and additional work was done free of charge because we were trying to help you as a customer.  All of the water and moisture issues you described to [redacted] when he was at your home were caused by water overflowing your clogged gutters and pooling into your soffits, then sitting in those soffits for as long as a year and three months.  I want to make it very clear that I do not feel this has anything to do with the newly installed roof and gutter system and everything to do with gutter clogging and the overflowing into the soffits. If Infinity was to claim this damage with our Liability insurance they will absolutely not cover a homeowner maintenance claim.  In March of 2017 I recommended for you to make a claim with you Homeowners insurance.  Infinity will be happy to answer to answer any questions your adjuster may have for us.  Aaron your estimator also confirmed that the only contact after you initial installation was over a year later about your gutters being clogged.  We also keep a detailed log with any calls, emails, or 24 hr answering service messages, and NONE SHOW ANY CONTACT IN JANUARY OF 2016 from you.  During the inspection performed on June 29, 2017 by Shamrock Building Inspection Consultants LLC (an independent and reputable building and home inspector) The report states “the roof was installed properly, staggered, not run in vertical rows”{pg6of11} it also states “the attic appears to be in process of being reinsulated- can lights that are not fitted with air sealed boxes are often a contributor to warm air infiltration into attic- attic hatch lacks insulation - missing insulation was observed…”{pg10&11 of 11}. In closing, Infinity can not risk coming back to your home to do any work before an agreement has been reached between our attorney’s.  We have been actively engaged in legal negotiations with our attorney, [redacted] and your attorney, Todd Jex. [redacted] assured me today that communication has been constant. Infinity is a family owned and operated business who stands behind their work and we will help in any way we can with this unfortunate situation. Kindest Regards, [redacted]

Review: I hired Infinity to do a tear off and replacement roof. this was after a year of research to find out what companies were licensed, insured, bonded, etc. I was sure I got a great company. I was not home when the roof was done on August 1st.. My neighbor called me to tell me there was an accident. One of the roofers was standing on my overhang/awning, it collapsed and he fell and injured himself on my fence. I arrived to the scene a half hour or so after the accident. The other roofers were finishing up while the injured man was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. I was talking to one of the workers about what happened. He said that the man that "runs the show" was the one that got injured and that he went up to do the roofing on the awning, since no one else wanted to do it. He told me that this man was "standing" on the awning when it fell down. I felt awful for the man, of course, and the only information I have is that he is now out of the hospital and will be out for the rest of the season.

The company claims that only a few nails were holding the overhang in place and that it was my fault it was unsafe. This awning has been in place for 40 years, per my neighbor. I have never had problems with it. It was clearly not a weight bearing overhand/awning. It was not meant to be stood on. I had no idea how it was secured since I never had a problem with it.

The company never took ownership for the awning coming off of my house, the damage to my siding, damage to my fence, and damage to my neighbor's siding. There was no customer service. They wanted me to pay for the damages which their workerestimated would cost $1,000. I felt highly offended that they would ask me to do this and ultimately they agreed to pay for all of the repairs. I asked for this in writing and they sent a very letter wanting me to sign a document that said they did nothing wrong and it was all my fault. I completely disagree and of course did not sign it. I sent it back to them with changes, including disagreeing with their statments and agreeing to the repairs. They want to be paid for this job and the job is not yet completed. My house is damaged, there are roofing materials in my front yard still and my awning is laying in my backyard with a hole where it used to be. I haven't spoken with them since faxing this letter back.Desired Settlement: I want my awning reattached, roofed, my siding repaired and my neighbor's siding repaired.

Response:

Infinity Exteriors has been in contact with the home owner multiple times weekly to resolve the issues at hand. The delay is subsequent to a decision on whether or not to file a liability insurance claim. There has been documented photos of the home and the awning in question showing the 6 nails holding the awning in place. Infinity is not blaming the home owner as this was an accident yet Infinity is not accepting full responsibility for the failure of the awning as any roofing company undertaking the same project would have had the same result. At no time was there a request of $1000 for the repairs there was an estimated cost of $1000 and the request was to split the difference with the home owner. Many other contractors not only would not have accepted responsibility, but would have potentially sued for injury and damage due to the failure in the structure, we as a company would never take that route instead in an act of good faith, we offered to repair the damages at no cost. Included in the scope of work was a paragraph stating we would perform the repairs while not accepting full liability for the accident as the workers in question did nothing negligent to cause the failure of the structure as it is assumed that the home is fit for normal roofing activity. Since the complaint has been posted Infinity Exteriors has come to an agreement to perform the work in question at no additional charge and the home owner has agreed to the terms. It is unfortunate that accidents happen, that a worker was severely injured and there were damages to property it is our standard to maintain outstanding customer relation and stay true to our word. Our track record of 16 years in business A+ rating with the Revdex.com and 7 prestigious customer service awards are proof that we have been doing so.

Review: I had a salesperson come to my home to give me a quote on windows for my home. I told them that in the meantime, I had also filed a complaint against the home builder and the window company of my existing windows in the house and awaiting to see what they planned on doing for me. Infinity called and came out yet again to show my husband the windows. At that time, we were asked if we wanted to get these windows and if we would give 15% down. I was uncomfortable with putting that much down in anticipation of seeing what my builder planned on doing for us and our existing 7 year old "problem" windows in the mean time. SO they negotiated and we decided to write a check for $500.00 and initialed some paper. We NEVER received a copy of THIS supposed contract paper that I signed. I did have a copy of the original/unsigned "proposal" that was left with me the week or so beforehand when they came out the first time. But again, never was given a copy of whatever paper we initialed! In the meantime, our builder came around and went someone out to do a overhaul on our existing windows that seemed to help with the original draft/air infiltration problem. We really hated to spend near $8000.00 for new windows when our home was not quite 7 years old! I phoned Infinity the day I noticed the cash was checked & told them that we are not in need of brand new windows at this time and to plead send back my $500 deposit. I then received a call stating that this was a signed contract (again- I NEVER had a copy of this!) only a copy of the original uninitiated proposal! I am informed that there is a 72 hour clause to cancel at the bottom in fine print on the proposal- but never read this until after the fact! Who reads fine print on a PROPOSAL/estimate? At any rate, the company at first was not going to send ANY of the $500 back. Now they are in "negotiations" of how much they should keep due to PAPERWORK time invested. They thought they have $300 worth of time invested in this so called "paperwork"-which I have asked to see all this NUMEROUS paperwork they have sweated over to prove how much time they have into it and can NOT produce for me any man hours, etc. So they offered to return $300 of the $500 which I said is ludicrous! (no copy of contract was ever given to me, no proof of sweat houses into said paperwork, etc) I offered them $100.00 for their troubles and gas money for coming here twice- which is MORE than enough. Again, there were NOT any final measurements ever taken, no windows ordered, NOTHING! Just 2 high pressured salesmen that came over twice and jotted some x's on a piece of paper/proposal!Desired Settlement: I would like to get my FULL $500.00 back. Like I said, I never was given a copy of the initialed contract. Just a "proposal quote" left behind from an earlier visit. I had no idea I was never going to get my deposit money back! I was in no hurry to get theses windows, knowing that my builder might come thru with some help on these 7 year old windows...which they did.

[redacted] and [redacted] entered into a contract on

02/04/2014 with Infinity Exteriors to replace windows in their home. We have a carbon copy of the signed contract,

which would indicate that they are in possession of the original, if this is not the case we

would be more than happy to provide a copy.

In that contract it does indicate very clearly that in the event the

contract would be cancelled after the first 72 hours Infinity is entitled to

20% of the entire contract price, in this case $1,512.20. After hearing the

[redacted]'s wanted to cancel their project on 02/26/2014 and their reasons for

the cancellation we did decide not to exercise that right. We were only going to keep the $500.00

deposit as the total cancellation fee, $1,012.20 less than what we had the legal

right to collect. After a discussion

between [redacted], our sales representative, and [redacted] indicated that she

felt it was unreasonable for us to keep the entire $500.00 deposit and was very

upset about it. Infinity Exteriors strives

for excellent customer service and for that reason we then decided to refund

all but $150.00 for the cancellation fee in hopes of keeping the customer

happy. We believe that his is more than

fair considering the customers entered into a binding contract with Infinity and we

had full legal right to pursue the full 20% or $1,512.20. Also, the customer indicated when talking to [redacted], that the $150.00 was a reasonable cancellation amount to be charged. We sent a check #14978 in the amount of $350.00 on 03/12/2014 for the reimbursement minus the $150.00 cancellation fee.

Respectfully,

Infinity Exteriors LLC

Review: Infinity was hired to replace my large livingroom window with a Soft-Lite Bay triple pane replacement, toward the end of the installation 1- I noticed only Two panes of glass. It turns out they ordered and installed the wrong windows. 2- During the installation of the window panels into the hi-tech custom frame I expected to see some sort of high tech seal or gasket, there was none, only the caulk they applied to the window then pushed the glass panel into place and then installed the interior trim, someone else made the the frame, in other words it's not a designed System. 3-They ordered a custom Hiproof assembly to fit the bay offset and angle to cover the new bay window, in the transition from the cedar siding to the new roof shingles the installer never installed the required (industry standard) flashing beneath the siding to deflect water down onto the roof and off the shingles, they simply emptied two tubes of caulk into the cavity to seal between the siding and the new hip-roof. 4- They also did not install a (industry standard) drip edge trim under the front edge of the shingles to provide the support to the end of the 1" shingle, without it damage will occur if it is bumped with a ladder and chip out pieces of the end of the shingles. 5- The entire open area above the hip roof bay window was left uninsulated, wide open to the outside temperatures radiating in. Knowing this could result in condensation on the inside I contacted Soft-Lite and spoke to the factory rep that has the Wisconsin territory, he agreed and said the hip roof area must be insulated. After the conversation with the rep, I called and talked to [redacted] and then [redacted] assured me everything would be corrected and taken care of, he also agreed that it should not have been installed that way. That was roughly 3 months ago and still no answer form anyone. A second call was made to [redacted], I asked her to contact [redacted], she said she would e-mail him to call me back, 3 months still no call back. I had told [redacted] that I would not accept them Tearing out and damaging anthing else and that I would keep the less efficient windows which were already in place. I was Swiftly sent a GIFT CARD for all of my troubles..... 3 months, still no call back. 6- In the Infinity Exteriors advertising they claim Not to use outside subs to intstall the windows and it only leads to a shoddy installation and only hurt the customer in the end, well they did use an outside company and it did hurt me in the end. I would have preferred thier IN HOUSE CRAFTSMAN like the ad claims. A few more things!!, nail heads on the inside trim sticking out, not filled and a large smudge on the interior stain on the window seat. The trim guy did a great job and seemed to have it together, I should have given him the GIFT CARD. I would not be doing this report if they simply called us back and did what they said they would do. Why is it they hire grown men that cant do the job right and you have to babysit them, Whats worse is I have to listen that commercial everyday on the radio and [redacted]! SEMPER FI is not a conditional oath !!!Desired Settlement: Since they have had no contact with me, I assume we are paid in full I would like a PAID IN FULL INVOICE. I will check with Soft-Lite to see if my warranty is voided because of the Shoddy install and possible damage to windows.

Please be aware when contracting with Infinity Exteriors in Waukesha, WI that they DO NOT hold true to making sure the customer is completely satisfied prior to wanting to be paid and PLEASE read the contract thoroughly before signing it as Infinity states they are NOT responsible for flashing a chimney (which is part of the roofing system).
We were extremely dissatisfied with our service from Infinity and they were not willing to negotiate with us and therefore we would not recommend Infinity to anyone. From the service we received to the owner who was never available to talk it was the most dissatisfying service we've received from any contractor.
READ ON TO UNDERSTAND WHY: We had extremely heavy rain and noticed a leak in our upstairs bathroom ceiling in late October 2013. Concerned we needed a new roof we contacted a couple of roofing companies. Infinity Exteriors came out right away and the sales person suggested we not only install a new roof to solve our leaking problem, but we needed an exhaust fan in our bathroom, and additional insulation in the attic. We agreed and contracted with Infinity because we felt comfortable with the sales person and with the warranty on the contract.
The first disappointment was the sales person informed us Infinity would have four people on the job, when they only had two part of the day and a third showed up in the afternoon. When tearing off the roof our siding was damaged on our house and the gutters were damaged on our garage. Infinity hired someone to fix the gutters on the garage, however the siding on the house were replaced by a company my husband and I contracted (which was paid for by my husband and I). The evening the roof was tore off, we had heavy winds (60 mph winds) and Infinity left a large hole in our roof exposed and everything was blowing around in our attic. In addition, Infinity subcontracted a company to install the bathroom vent and the contractor cut too large of a hole in the ceiling so the ceiling had to be repaired before installing the vent (again not paid by Infinity). To top it off, Infinity came back not once but twice to reflash our chimney (because it leaked even more after they had replaced the roof), but again please note, Infinity's contract states that they do not flash chimneys. This again is a part of the roofing system.
The roof leak became substantially worse and after flashing our chimeny for a second time, Infinity told us our leaking problem was not due to the roof, the problem was or chimney! Upset, because we thought the roof would have solved the leaking problem, we had no other choice but to contract with another person to repair the chimney. Infinity was right, the chimney contractor confirmed our leaking problem was not caused by needing a new roof; it was caused by needing our chimney repaired. In addition, when the chimney contractor went on the roof to check the chimney he noticed numerous nail heads poking out of the roof. Thank goodness our chimney contractor was NARI certified, because I informed Infinity that I wanted someone to check out our new roof to indeed make sure it was sound. Our chimney contractor repaired the chimney and we indeed had no more leaks thereafter, however he wanted us to know that he strongly believed Infinity should have shared with us that our leaking problem stemmed from the chimney and Infinity should have let us decide if we still wanted to replace the roof (which had at least another 1-5 years on it). The bottom line is while we received a new roof, new insulation, new exhaust fan, etc. none of that was the root cause of our problem - the chimney was. And because we received the new roof, etc. Infinity wanted to be paid (in full). We agreed, however we felt that Infinity should have been willing to negotiate with us. In December I tried contacting the owner, because for the entire two months this was happening we never heard from him. I wanted to be sure he knew our story. Late December, the owner returned my call, and shared that he was on vacation and that he wasn't aware of our situation, however at that time we already had our attorneys involved in the matter. The case went to mediation and resulted in my husband and I paying Infinity the entire amount of the contract.

Great company! Communication was amazing throughout the whole project and the skills their workers have are UNBELIEVABLE! Infinity has a great referral program that I will definitely be using! So if you are looking for an excellent contractor, tell them I sent you! You won;t be let down :)

We recently had roof , gutters and siding all done by Infinity after they came highly recommended to us from a friend , who I know really does her research. First of all the salesperson, Nick was an excellent communicator. Whenever we had questions or concerns he got back to us in a timely manner. He was always available. The roofing work was fine. Clean- up satisfactory. Head of roofing job very approachable with concerns or questions. Gutters went up fast , look good. Just needed a few adjustments that were corrected. Siding- LP Smartside looks great! After that work it needed a some adjustments which were handled masterfully by Jesus. They guy was amazing on how he took care of every detail we needed adjusted and some I did not catch. In the end he put it all together to look amazing. We love the look of the new siding. Office staff -very friendly and helpful. Yes, I have recommended them to others.

This is a roofing company that claims to offer great service yet they used my gutters as a dumpster, littered my sidewalk, driveway, and deck with nails they didn't pick up, and it took them two additional visits to actually clean up their mess. I also did not witness any safety equipment being used on a roof, where a fall from 30' could have resulted in a serious injury or death. Sloppy, lazy, incompetent, dangerous and unprofessional describe the level of work performed at my house by Infinity.

My experience with Infinity Roofing was AWESOME! From the first consultation with Nick Morn, our Sales Consultant to the actual roof installation, Infinity Roofing was great! The house was in need of a new cedar shake roof and is listed as a Historic Landmark on the National Historic Registry. From the beginning, Nick took charge of the whole project getting the approval of the Historic committee and spending multiple evenings after his work day to attend those meetings. He went above and beyond what any other company would have done. That's customer service! From the very beginning, Infinity stood by all their commitments. Even after the installation a squirrel ate through the cedar shake roof and made a nest. I called Nick and he immediately got to work with his crew to take care of the pesky squirrel. Not only did they come out immediately to take care of it, they didn't even charge me for taking care of it. No trip charge or labor charge! How can you get any better than that?
If you are in the market for a new roof, windows or any exterior project, make sure you call Infinity Roofing & Exteriors. They simply are the best in the business and they truly run a class organization with the highest level of integrity. Thank you Infinity for a superior experience with your company. You have earned a lifetime customer here!

I contacted Infinity for a roof inspection after a recent hail storm. The scheduler said both my wife and I must be present. I took time off work for a Tuesday afternoon appointment. The inspector, Nick, called a couple of hours before the inspection to reschedule because of the weather. No big deal. They can't control the weather. He suggested rescheduling for Wednesday morning at 8:00. I told him I couldn't be there and he said it wasn't a big deal. I was able to rearrange my schedule to go into work late so I could be there for the inspection.
8:00 - no one.
8:15 - no one.
8:20 - I called the office to find out what's up. The scheduler I had originally spoken with said Nick had figured he would just stop by whenever it was convenient since I hadn't anticipated being available. No, "I'm sorry." No, "Let me get him right on it." Nothing.
I told her that she could just cancel my appointment, then. She merely said, "Okay," and hung up.
I'm glad this happened before I got into a business relationship with them because I don't want to do business with a company who has such little respect for my time and schedules.
My suggestion - don't even bother callling.

12/2015. I contracted with Infinity exteriors for a roof repair in 2012. I had selected them because of price and they were the most thorough in inspection (by the owner) and explanation of work. Unfortunately the workmanship did not live up to the promises. We also selected Infinity because of a radio ad that promised half off labor. When writing up the contract we were told we could get a "discount" if we choose one of a few styles that Infinity recently bought a truckload of. That didn't feel like half off labor.
We were told that our current installation had dryer type venting for the bathroom vents and those were the improper type to use because of condensation problems, and that Infinity only used insulated venting. On the day of the install, I was leaving for work and found the job foreman pulling dryer venting from his truck. When questioned he told me that's what they always used. It required my objection and a call to the office to confirm what should be used. This led me to the suspicion that I was getting a subcontracted crew to do my roofing job.
I had also specified ridge venting on our upper roof, but when coming home from work the first day, found box vents had been installed. After another phone call, the roof had to be torn back part way and the brand new decking that I had paid for was patched were the vents were so ridge venting could be installed.
After the job was complete I had problems with buckling of the deck boards in the summer heat, which required two service visits to repair. On the first repair I was told the deck boards were placed properly, while on the second visit after buckling continued I was told there were many places that were not properly spaced and needed correcting. The second repair person also told me he could have kept on going, but had spent most of the day on it as it was
There was a leak on the low pitched roof section of the garage which took two visits to repair. The original installation also only replaced a small portion of the decking that had been water damaged from the old roof. From inside the garage you can easily see more decking that is stained or soft and should have been replaced.
We had leaks around a box vent on the lower roof that were the result of shingles not being properly cut around the vents to allow water to channel around the vents. Leaves had gotten caught in the space and water overflowed into the vent. (Vents which had been installed on the upper roof and torn out to be used on the lower roof to correct the ridge venting issue). This leak caused some water stains on the lower level ceiling which required repainting.
There has been leaks around the chimney of the upper roof which has caused water damage to one of the ceilings in a bedroom. To date there has been service twice for this problem and has not been repaired.

Review: When my husband and I were gone for the weekend the next door neighbor had a roof put on by Infinity roofers. There were tar marks on our white aluminum siding. The company had not put up a tarp to protect our siding. Monday I came home and there was a tarp thrown over our fence in the back yard. There were and still are scratch marks on the siding. My solar light that was hanging on my fence was on the ground broken.

I received the phone number for the roofing company they used and [redacted] answered and said he'd be out on Monday September 29th to look at it. We showed him the roofing garbage left in our gutter on the neghbors side of the house. We showed him the tar marks and scratches. He took pictures and said" that's the worst I've ever seen". He also asked if he could take the solar light with him. I let him ,reminding him that it is part of a set of four.

I called and told him we have an estimate of $1,800. [redacted] said he'd let the owners of the roofing co. know and get back to us.

Monday Oct. 20th [redacted] said the forman and him would be out to my house to look at the damage. I rushed home and there was a message from [redacted] that said the forman is out all week I need to call and make another appointment. I called [redacted] on Oct.24 a Friday and asked about My broken light. " Didn't I return it ?" he said. He also said,"The owners have it, I'll return it to you." When I asked what the owners said about the cost to paint the siding , [redacted] said"the owners say $1,800.00 is too much , they would pay half. He also said he'd get back to me.

Meanwhile, he left the light on my doorstep and I haven't heard from him since.

I called him on August 17th and he said, he's on the road and the paper work is at the office. But again I haven't heard from him since then.,Desired Settlement: To receive a check in the amount of $1,800.00 , the estimate I received, so that I may have the aluminum siding painted to cover the scratches.

Response:

After the office, [redacted], was made aware of any damage to the neighbor's home on 9/23/25, [redacted], our Service manager immediately called the owners to discuss a time to come meet to assess the damage. [redacted] our Service Manager came to the home to inspect on the agreed upon date of Sept 29th.

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your acceptance of the business's response. If you wish, you may update it before sending it.]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

Regards,

I contracted Infinity to replace my siding, and I am really impressed with the speed and quality of the work, my house looks like a brand new house. The price was reasonable and the Project Coordinator was always helpful and good with communication. The crew cleaned up their mess, but did leave some garbage behind because the dumpster was picked up earlier than anticipated, but within a couple of days the remaining garbage was gone. If you are planning a project I would recommend Infinity.
