Dear Sirs, We will contact the client immediately and will resolve all and any legitimate warranty claims. Thank You, [redacted]VP WisconsinWilliam Ryan Homes

To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.
Regards,
[redacted]The last response from WRH is correct. They have, after 6
months of unexplained delays, started to build our home. This doesn't resolve
our issue that caused the Revdex.com complaint to be filled.
We made this complaint to get our deposit back under a
provision in the contract WRH wrote. They have refused to honor their own
contract.
We are at an impasse that the Revdex.com process is apparently not
capable of resolving. Let's look at a simple analogy. Ask yourself this, if you
ordered a pizza and paid a deposit for it but after 90 days you had not
received it (they did not even start to make it) so you asked for your money
back only to be repeatedly told no and given no explanation for the delay. Then
after 6 months the company started to cook that pizza would you be satisfied?
Should I be? I will continue to respond to this complaint only to make others
aware of how are WRH experience has been.

Most work has been addressed at this point, with the only remaining work being some interior items that needed to wait til holiday decorations came down, one shower item that the request has been placed with the vendor, but had difficulty scheduling due to holidays, and some exterior work that will need to complete in the Spring! We are very sorry that this has taken so long to complete, but should have interior items wrapped up shortly and exterior paint items in the Spring.

We do apologize for some of the recent delays in getting warranty items addressed. Someone will be in touch with this customer next week.

The response from WRH is disappointing and not an offer at all.  Rather than follow up with action, the corresponding WRH representative dismisses the problems as frivolous. The remaining unresolved issues were identified as legitimate by the WRH representative, Construction Manager Greg [redacted], who visited our home on 2/24/2017.   All outstanding issues were reviewed and a commitment was made by Mr. [redacted] to obtain WRH approval to initiate work on unresolved warranty issues.A representative of WRH, Victor, contacted my wife and me to initiate warranty work on 5/12/2017.  I stayed home from work that day to be available.  No one from WRH showed.  We emailed and called Mr. [redacted], but received no reply then or since.Mr. [redacted] is the fourth WRH warranty representative we have had to deal with over the past two years.  Every time a new warranty rep is assigned, the cycle of inspection, commitment to action, and failure to follow through repeats itself.  We have given WRH ample time and opportunity to address covered warranty issues.  After two years of delays and repeated inaction it was clear to us that without the help of Revdex.com and perhaps others of influence, WRH would not meet their contractual obligations. The remaining unresolved warranty issues are not frivolous, and have been agreed to in previous meetings with WRH warranty reps. (The landscaping items were agreed to be removed.)  My wife and I simply want, expect, and will require that WRH meet its obligations and commitments.  We hope that Revdex.com can help make that happen.
Regards,
[redacted]

Update: the city inspector, our architect and the manufacturer of the customer's floor joists have all been to the home and inspected the issue and we're currently waiting on the manufacturer of the joists to let us know the recommended fix. As soon as we have more info to share we'll be sure to be back in touch.

There has been some turnover within the division management. New management is in touch with Rachel and will be meeting at their first availability to discuss any outstanding warranty work.

Dear Sirs, We will contact the client immediately and look to resolve any open warranty items. [redacted]William Ryan Homes

There has been some recent management and personnel changes within the William Ryan Homes' Wisconsin division due to these circumstances during eh construction of this home, but they have also led to some longer than typical timelines on warranty work. New management has been in touch with...

this customer and warranty work has already been started and has been in progress for this customer since before the complaint was filed.

As of now I've been told that a replacement for our cracked window has been ordered. Still waiting to hear back on all the other issues. Revdex.com:

This is the same story (staffing issues) I have received countless times for WRH.  I did have the superintendent walk through my home for the 4th time this morning (with the wrong warranty list...)  He gave me the same timeline that everything will be fixed in 2 weeks.  I will not accept any resolution from WRH until my items are completed.

Dear Sirs,We have rectified many warranty items and are waiting for the final material to arrive to complete the warranty list.  In reviewing the records, I have not found a previous mention of concern with the mechanical systems of the home.  We will continue to stand by our warranty on these items.  The homeowner was provided a copy of the warranty at the time of closing.  The mechanical system does have a 2 year warranty. We look to complete this as soon as we have the needed materials.Thank you,[redacted]William Ryan Homes

Customer's home has been started for some time now, and is in the Mechanical's stage with drywall coming shortly. Customer has been given a weekly update in regards to construction progress, but has at times been frustrated when they've e-mailed after 5 PM on a Friday and haven't heard back yet by...

11 AM on Saturday. We're doing our best and will continue to do so.

We are pleased to say that this entire warranty list has been completed and was signed off on today by Mrs [redacted]! Please see attached.
