We have cancelled the account so there is no future charges and have refunded the $29.95, and should expect to see that in 3-7 business days. We were not aware the customer was having issues contacting us.

We are a grant application service. We have a team of grant researchers who track down the grants not just from the government but also from the private sector. Once a customer signs up and pays our registration fee, they have access to apply for as many grants as they want. Our money back guarantee...

states that if the customer applies for grants using our service and receive a denial letter, all they need to do is forward us a copy, at which point we will issue a full refund.Furthermore, we show that Ms. [redacted] signed up for our services on March 11, 2016. She utilized the services on 4 different occasions. She emailed us on March 22, 2016 asking for a refund and to cancel her account. We did cancel the account so there will be no future charges. However, in order to get a refund, she must go through the money back guarantee.

Client was told when she signed up that in order to get a refund she must go through the money back guarantee policy which states that if you are denied a grant, then simply provide us the details of the grant you were denied for a full refund. Client was told this again 3 other times when she...

called in. Our representatives did try navigating client through the site. Client tried to claim she had never used the service but we have proof that she did indeed use it numerous times. As a courtesy, we have refunded her account in the amount of 34.95 for the most recent charge. Again, she will need to provide a letter of denial froma grantor to recieve the original charge.

When client signed up for our services she was told that there would be a monthly charge of $34.95 but that she could cancel at anytime as there is no contract. The email states: "You will also receive to the most up-to-date applications through the 'New Application' section of the...

New-USA-Funding site for the next 30 days and you will continue to receive updates thereafter for the monthly amount of 34.95. In addition to the New Applications, you will receive 2 live teleconferences each week with a grant expert! REMEMBER, if you don't get accepted for a grant, you will be refunded immediately. Just provide us with the application you applied for and the response letter from the grantor." As you can see, it does impy she will be billed. It also states our refund policy. We went over this numerous times with client but she wanted a refund based on the fact that she "misunderstood" Had she contacted us the week of the charge we may have been able to issue some form of refund however it has now been over 2 weeks. She still has access to our services until 2/7/16. We suggested to her that she apply for funding and let us know if and when she is turned down so we could refund her. We also told her we would pull the registration phone call. She refused to listen to us and did not care about the call. She repeatedly called us for 2 hours even though we told her we would call by end of day with the recording. Client was not willing to cooperate with us. We will not be issuing a refund unless she goes through the refund policy.Customer Support Management

Client contacted us for the first time on 7/8/15 and was told what the charges were. Our representative gave her our comapny information per her request and client never asked to cancel account at that time. However, client did dispute the charges with the bank shortly thereafter on 8/3/15. She and...

a bank rep called us again on 9/11/15 asking to be refunded however our rep explained that we could not refund any charges because she had already disputed the charges. We have faxed a copy of what she agreed to originally to the bank rep [redacted] (Chase Bank [redacted]). It states " Funding Application Research ServiceNew USA Funding provides Members an option to opt-in for a Funding Application Research Service. This service is completely optional and offered to clients after they purchase. When they user opts-in for this service, our research team will research new funding opportunities on the internet as they become available and offer them in one place on the site for them to review the ones that they potentially could qualify for if they meet the funders criteria. By agreeing to this service, the user agrees to a membership fee of $29.95 per month which is waived for the first 30 days. If the client does not cancel the service, they will be charged $29.95 each month for this ongoing service. They can cancel at anytime by calling our toll free number [redacted] or by emailing us using our online form on our contact us page."Client was sent an email monthly. 3 days before each charge to [redacted]. It was also posted on her bank statements. We have no control over clients accessing their emails or their monthly bank statements. Had the client done so to begin with, she would have see she was being charged. She did use the services on 2/21/15 and 9/28/15. Had client not disputed charges, we would have been more than happy to negotiate some type of refund with her. Our company is not in the habit to "scam" people out of their money. We offer a service to our clients and most clients are happy with our service. They are also aware of the terms and conditions. We have no control over clients who do not read terms before checking boxes that say they agree to the terms. We are sorry client feels the way she does, however, all she had to do was call us at anytime.

This client was cancelled and refunded $139.80, the client signed up for our service online and agreed to the terms and condition. But as courtesy we refunded any additional fee. THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN RESOLVED

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.When my son signed up for the assistance from USA Funding, the following was posted on their website.  It does not say anything about a monthly fee.  Emails that were sent to him, did not state he would be charged another $29.95 for his membership.  We feel it was deceptive.  The following statement copied directly from USA Funding website (https://newusafunding.com/v3/1ac.php) states a fee...not a monthly fee.  I attached one of the emails that was sent to my son, Jeffrey as well.
"To provide you with the support and resources you need to successfully pursue your funding quest, we charge a small fee to cover the administrative costs of marketing and advertising this site. The fee is $29.95-a fair price to pay for the wealth of applications and information provided. With your registration fee, you will receive access to our members-only application sources site." I strongly feel this company took advantage of my son and overly charged us.

This client opted into the recurring charge when he clicked the box that said "I Agree." He could have contacted us at anytime to cancel. We send out monthly emails, 3 days prior to a charge so client had this info as well not to mention the bank statements showing the transactions. We show client...

We also show the only time we heard from him was via email on 4/1/15 asking for information about the charges in which we replied with all the transactions as well as the money back guarantee. He never did call us to resolve the matter. We are willing to compromise. The last log in was 10/5/14. We have sent an email stating we have refunded him for Ocotber and November of 2014 (The last 2 charges). Please consider this as resolved.

We show client was cancelled and refunded on 2/26/16, the same day he signed up. We are a grant research service and not a grantor. As we provide a service, we are entitled to charge a fee. We are registered with the state and are PCI compliant and have been in business since 2008. We cannot control...

whether clients actually read what they are signing up for. Our site is set up so it is clear from the first page what they are signing up for and that there will be a charge as well as why we charge a fee. We are sorry this client is unhappy with us but it is obvious he did not read what he was signing up for until after he signed up. He has been refunded and his account is closed.
