We sincerely apologize for the experiences you described in your complaint Since you purchased your Inogen One from a company other than Inogen, that company is responsible for all service, support, warranty obligations, and refunds When product is purchased by an oxygen therapy user directly from Inogen and an error is experienced within the warranty period, we have a policy to overnight a complete replacement unit Other companies will have various other warranties that they offer as well as varying levels of support and service Inogen has designated authorized resellers that offer what Inogen believes to be acceptable service and support to patients Authorized resellers will help oxygen therapy patients when Inogen products need support or service The list of authorized resellers can be found on our website at: http://www.inogen.com/resellers/ The company Direct Home Medical is not an Authorized Reseller of Inogen Since you purchased from Direct Home Medical, that company should be contacted for all service, support, warranty obligations, or appropriate refunds

Bought Innogen 4 and it stopped working just shut down while I was across town in Las Vegas. I called customer service and they informed me that shipping was backed up and they would not even process it for 5 days and no one could tell me why. I told them they did not have one person in the company that had a clue how to make sure this did not happen. I drove for 45 minutes without oxygen and it is only 3 months old. They could not tell me why they don't have Innogen 4 replacements I guess the company is run by incompetent is. I could solve the problem add more machines and competent supervisors! I got in a yelling match with a teenage boy yesterday.I taught mine not to yell but to talk as competent humans! avoid this company the unit is hot and loud and it puffs air in your nose and it is so loud they asked me to move in a movie theatre. we paid for a cruise we cant go on because the is do not have one to ship.!

Defective Inogen one G3. Reseller: YA Group. LLC, Amazon order# 114-8229172-1048219

I am writing to file a complaint with Inogen and the subject reseller. Although I have been granted a refund (minus restocking fee) there are other issues that need addressing. I will be filing an FDA formal complaint against Inogen and YA Group, LLC if I am not granted a full refund. I will be posting the following fair and unbiased review every place on the internet where a review is allowed. This is a serious issue for me. Failing to respond will initiate formal FDA complaints and reviews. Thank you. Intended review:

1. As the buyer, you will take 100% of all of the risk for purchasing. These units are Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable. Believe all of the hype you want, but once you buy it, it is yours no matter whether it works for you or not. Just opening the box is all it takes.
2. Quiet? 40 decibels is NOT quiet. My Inogen At Home stationary concentrator is 40db and I have to keep it in another room so that I can sleep. When out in public attention will be drawn to your disability as this machine whirs, puffs, blinks lights and may even sound an alarm or two... So cool, yes? On the other hand, an oxygen tank is about the same size and is totally SILENT.
3. Light? These units are hardly lightweight. With a single battery and case, 5 pounds, double battery, 5.7 pounds. Like carrying around a sack of potatoes. A full oxygen tank with case weighs 4 lbs, 13 oz.. So the Inogen is actually heavier.
4. Batteries and battery life. Yes, never run out of oxygen (as long as you have a ample supply of VERY expensive batteries ($325-$500). Battery life is highly questionable. Oxygen tanks don't require batteries.
5. Maintenance. Then you have replacement items like the Columns (whatever those are) for $100. Oxygen tanks do not have replacement columns.
6. There is absolutely no evaluation period allowed. Not happy... Too bad.

Yes, I believed all of the hype and premature reviews. When I received mine, I charged it up to 100% and disconnected the charger. The next day, the charge read 90% without ever being turned on. Fluke? Tried it again with the same results. So, I had an expensive POC that lost 10% of battery charge/day without ever turning it on. In other words it would not hold a charge. Not something to trust your life with I would say.
Being defective, I returned the unit to the seller. Amazon stated that the seller had approved the return and a refund (I believe that the return authorization may have been a hasty approval by Amazon). However, there was a hefty restocking of about $500.00. Being fair the seller did offer to repair the unit or send me a new one. Since I did not want to wait weeks for a repaired NEW machine or receive another NEW machine with all of the above discrepancies and quality issues, I declined the offer.

Under Federal Law and Inogen policy. Oxygen units cannot be sold without prescription. The seller shipped my unit WITHOUT obtaining a prescription. Instead, filed a prescription waiver without my approval. The prescription notice was not posted by the seller on Amazon.

Ending. If you have fantastic insurance or loads of cash to afford an overpriced toy, I say you can afford to take the risk of a purchase. However, I had neither and the cost came directly out of pocket. If you truly want to give one of these units a try, my recommendation would be to rent one first (especially if you fly a lot) as $3000.00, (with extra batteries) is a big gamble for the privilege of buying an item without ever being able to try it out or not even being able to open the box. Your very life is on the line... Please consider carefully.

I have a big complaint about CUSTOMER SERVICE for DELIVERY.

My husband is using Inogen one G3 for over 2 years. In July 12, 2019, he found his machine didn't work right while he was driving. He stopped and reset his machine twice on a road and he came back home safe, thank god. Then after he switched to the big machine in a house and called customer service.

They said he needs to replace the diffuser part so he made an order. He depends oxygen machine 24/7 since he had his lung out.

He is still waiting for the part delivery and today is July 18, 2019. He called customer service yesterday and he was told it is BACKORDERED !

Why did't they say that when he made an order in July 12 ?

Why they don't have any stocks all the time for the patients who depends on the machine ?

People like my husbands can not live without this machine. We just had a severe thunderstorm last night. If we lost power, there is no way to survive !

They MUST keep all parts all the time and they MUST deliver within 24 hours .

We returned an Inogen machine with permission of the salesman after my father passed a away 2 weeks after purchasing. I have a UPS signed acknowledgement that the machine was received by Inogen and they acknowledge they have received it. However they will not process the refund as they say they cannot locate the unit. The sales rep did not give me a return number to put on the unit when making the return but they have had 2 months to locate the machine they received and have not resolved it. I have called every week for two months and each rep has kindly tried to help me but there have been no promised call backs from A/R or from the supervisors and each call I make the rep does not show the work of the rep before them. Twice I have been transferred to leave messages with the Accounts Receivable department for a call back which have not occurred. At this point I do not have the unit nor do I have the refund and have spent hours trying to resolve this. I do not recommend this company and will also be notifying the RevDex.com and the attorney general with this same complaint.

I have one prescription that needs to be refilled every 3 months. AutoRobo call from IngenioRX calls me to tell me that it has been requested too soon. Ok - I understood that. When it comes time for my prescription to be filled, it calls to tell me that it would be filled. Great I thought. Within 10 minutes I receive another call stating that it was requested too soon and will not be sent out for another 3 months. WHAT? Now I have no idea if the medication will come or not. I miss ExpressScripts. Why Anthem ever left them is beyond me. This new system is confusing and I am in a technology profession. I can only imagine how hard and frustrating it is for people that are not technically savvy.

HORRIBLE, My 93 year old mother uses oxygen. 2 times in the last 3 weeks her concentrator stopped working and they "Send" her a new one that takes 4 to 5 days to get! How do they operate like this with people on oxygen! Her first one stopped working they send another one 5 days later NOW this one stopped working . WORST company Ever!

I have a stationary unit and the equipment works well enough, but to consider the columns to be an accessory and not covered with the warranty seems like highway robberyI paid the $dollars and was told it would ship in daysNo show, so I called again and was told it would be there that day maybe the next, no showcalled again, same answerI checked with my credit card company to see if the charges had posted and they had, same day that I first ordered the columnsStill waiting days later for someone who needs air 24/

They harass physicians to sign orders for oxygen that haven't even provided oxygen for patients When you try to explain to them that you haven't ordered oxygen on the patient and you aren't monitoring it they're only come back is that any physician can sign this order When you ask to speak to a supervisor they are their own supervisors They don't listen and only want an order for oxygen as "it is a controlled substance" According to them "any physician can sign the prescription" no they can't and they don't want to hear that I haven't referred any of my patients to them as they are VERY hard to deal with I do not recommend anyone using them and really suggest they get audited for insurance fraud as they ship out oxygen without dr orders
