If the consumer cannot provide the VIN, year, make and model for us to look into this there is nothing that can be done for them The buyer number alone does not help The location that the consumer provided has hundreds of vehicles at their yard so without the requested information we cannot assist the consumer

I contacted the Georgia Department of Revenue in regards to the issue with this buyer I was advised that since the addresses on Mr***'s Dealer license and Sales Tax Certificate of Registration do not match that IAA is within right to hold the sales tax refund until Mr [redacted] updates the address on his Sales Tax Certificate and the resale forms to match the address on his dealer license I did check and IAA has not received the updated documents as we requested from Mr***

Mr [redacted] needs to provide me with the VIN, year, make and model in order for us to research this I cannot locate his vehicle if he cannot provide me with more information in order to identify the vehicle Thank you

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: they closed my account and told me that I will never be able to register again, this is totally ridiculous, why should I be banned from buying vehicles? I have not done anything wrong Sincerely, [redacted]

My car was entered in according to the price guide provided to me onlineAfter completing this price assessment to the best of my knowledge, I received a price of "$2500" with the words "Guaranteed Price" next to itfurther more the "Revdex.com Accredited" symbol is right below itAs a consumer, the words "guarantee" and the "Revdex.com accredited" logo lead me to trust in this so companyThis is very deceiving and misleadingI look forward to settling this dispute be receiving what was "guaranteed" to meNothing less, Nothing moreA simple resolutionBut if IAAI would like to continue to play games to save a few dollarsI will have no choice but too seek a class action lawsuit
Please see attachment screen shots to support my claim
I also have an e-mail, stating that the $received was accepted as a depositIn a conversation with Mr*** ** ***, The *** Vehicle Purchasing Team LeadAll evidence is prepared to be submitted upon request

IAA's Auction Rules advise buyers in regards to a "call" vehicle: Any award of a vehicle to the highest bidder is subject to approval by the vehicle's consignor. The vehicle in question was a call vehicle and this was advised to the buyers when the vehicle went thru the auction.
The provider rejected the high bid and the vehicle is now scheduled for a later sale. Also, when a buyer registers online, as Mr*** did, they agree to be bound to the Auction Rules once they agree to the registration payment.I have put in a request to refund the $back to Mr*** credit card and have closed his account

When buyers register with IAA and sign the registration form they agree to be bound by IAA's Auction Rules. IAA's Auction Rules state that the buyer is responsible for all risks involved during the loading process and agrees to not hold IAA liable for any damages to the
vehicle. I did check with the Manager at the Lafayette branch and he did speak with this buyer and advised him of IAA not being responsible for damages to the vehicle

when selecting a price from the Price Guide. In some situations the condition of the seller's vehicle is different than the condition associated with the price on the Price Guide. From our website, "To compute the prices shown in the Price Guide, IAA's computers select from millions of vehicles to find ones matching your vehicle (e.g., make, model, year, condition, and odometer)." . In this case the sellers car had almost 40,000 more miles than the price guide's car he selected. The customer was notified of the inconsistency as his selection at which time we offered $1700, a price even higher than the Price Guides. The customer has accepted that price and no longer has an issue with IAA. IAA denies any wrong doing.

The buyer admitted receiving an email on 8/16/17 confirming that they won the vehicle.  Mandatory evacuations for Hurricane Harvey were not issued until 8/28/17 which was twelve days after the buyer was awarded the vehicle.  The buyer had ample time to come and pick up the vehicle prior to...

the hurricane hitting the Houston area.   IAA's Auction Rules do advise buyers that they have nine days to pay for the vehicle or the vehicle will be reneged on the tenth day.   The tenth day after the vehicle was awarded to the buyer would have been 8/25/17 which was the weekend prior to Hurricane Harvey hitting and both our Houston locations were open on 8/25/17.   IAA did not renege the vehicle until 9/5/17.  So Mr. [redacted] had extra time to pay for the vehicle.  He did not contact IAA prior to us reneging the vehicle, nor did he attempt to make payment prior to the renege being added to his account.   If Mr. [redacted] wishes to bid with IAA again the renege fee is required to be paid.

When IAA lists a vehicle as Run & Drive we only guarantee that the vehicle will run & drive thru that portion of the auction. IAA...

makes no guarantee that the vehicle will run & drive once the vehicle is picked up by the buyer and leaves our yard. This is outlined in our Auction Rules on our website.
When someone consigns a vehicle thru IAA they do not receive their check for the vehicle until IAA has been paid. This is outlined on the consignment form this lady signed when she wanted us to sell her vehicle.
If a title for a vehicle is not available at the time of auction it is listed as To Be Obtained on our website and the auctioneer also makes an announcement at the live sale. Oregon law states that we have 25 days from the selling date to provide the title to the buyer.
We have a Power of Attorney on file for this buyer that indicates that she will come and pick up her titles. She did not tell us to mail her titles, that is why we hold them until she came to the branch to pick them up.
The Isuzu Trooper will be cancelled off of her account.
All sales are final, we do not take vehicles back this is outlined in our Auction Rules on our website. When this lady signed her registration form she agreed to be bound by IAA's rules and terms of use.
