Mr. [redacted] needs to provide me with the VIN, year, make and model in order for us to research this.   I cannot locate his vehicle if he cannot provide me with more information in order to identify the vehicle.  Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because:so we gave the car and title for iaa to sell and now they cannot help us. Amazing business, now they own the car! We call this theft! We don't have any other option but to bring iaa in court to pay for all the losses they produced (damaged trailer by forklift at Orlando north, missing keys at New Orleans/knoxville/Nashville, damages to our car at knoxville, flooring wrong car at Louisville, illegal hold of funds knoxville...and so on)

Review: A vehicle we bought on auction based on description and images, we received with different ( much cheaper, older, abused, etc. ) rims and tires, from the ones on the images in the description.Desired Settlement: Refund of the difference in price of the exchanged parts.

The business has responded. Please see below:Subject: stock #[redacted] ID #[redacted] I did speak to the buyer about this issue back on 6/**/2015 when our Customer Service Department notified me of this buyers concern. And I did go into detail with the buyer on what I’ve explained below.The vehicle was purchased on 4/**/2015 from IAA and the buyer had the vehicle picked up from our facility by [redacted] on 4/**/2015. The buyer and [redacted], which is an advertising web-site for car haulers open to anyone who replies to that particular add. I can only assume that this vehicle was taken to Port Newark for export…or sat at the tow yard prior to being moved to the export yard. Then, approximately 2 months later, IAA was contacted about the buyers concern. The vehicle left my branch with the tires and rims it arrived with. I have advanced security cameras, electric fence and armed guards here at IAA Newburgh and no one has access to our inventory. Too many people had access to this vehicle once it left here and prior to the customer receiving it overseas, IAA cannot be held responsible for the accusations implied. Please let me know if you need any further information on this matter. [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved becauseAccording Your answer you think the rims have been changed after the vehicle left your facility, but this is not exactly right. Because the pictures with different rims, were taken from [redacted] before the car left the territory of IAAI and before any transportation.

I am attaching again the original pictures from the advertisement[redacted] and the pictures of [redacted] ([redacted] and [redacted]). The difference is obvious!Thank You for your cooperation!

Tell us why here...As I explained in our prior response, we can not be held responsible for a vehicle that had left our facility. Had this alleged theft taken place here at the branch, we should have been notified prior to it leaving. We have never had any prior thefts in the past 6 years of tires, rims, radios, etc...because of the security measures we have in place.
