I share this because I have friends who have taken other programs and still feel like they need to take another training program in order to fulfill their dreams of being a wellness coachWhen I was looking for schools, I had been diagnosed with adrenal fatigue and needed to learn how to heal myself naturally I only had a few hours a week to dedicate to my studies due to a very full schedule, and I looked forward to each manual, audio, training call, coaching call and so on I was blown away that the founder of the IAWP led one of the monthly live calls and would take time out of her busy schedule not only to host the calls but answer everyone's questions, no matter how long it tookI also received a lot of support on their monthly live calls as well as via their private Facebook page for students As a graduate, I can still get support and guidance, which is great, because sometimes, different scenarios pop up that I need perspective/guidance on They are there for me! They gave me a strong foundation in wellness, a new style of coaching that I was not familiar with and a business plan set for successIt has been almost a year since I left my high level corporate job to pursue my coaching business dreams! This journey, keeps unfolding in ways that I would never have expected I have a great coaching practice, new clients each month, working with small businesses and helping their employee's as well as helping my local community become a little healthier and well every day! I would highly recommend the IAWP for anyone looking for a wellness coaching course First off, I am a busy wife and mom with a full-time job, so the work at your own pace was awesome! I was skeptical about the amount of interaction and support I would get in an online course, but the support and interaction was amazing! IAWP covers pillars: Wellness modules, Coaching modules, and Business modules I expected to learn about wellness and how to coach, but the business modules were an extra bonus Without all of that, I would have been lost trying to set up my own business, but this made it so easy! The course has not only helped me personally, but I am so excited to start helping clients as well, and the support is always there if you need it

The IAWP has given me a wealth of knowledge, skills and supportThe best part is that the support is ongoing for which I am so gratefulI thoroughly enjoyed my trainingIt has confirmed for me that the topic of holistic health and wellness is my true passion and that my purpose is to support others in this areaI feel confident and excited to immerse myself in the field and to continue learning, growing, supporting and inspiring

The IAWP is a great starting point for you to begin your wellness coaching career! The interactive approach to the peer coaching and all the continual learning opportunities is wonderful! If you are looking for something intensive to a specific wellness area, you will need further trainingThis is a great, holistic, all-around approach to wellness coaching!

I completed this program and was extremely disappointed in the curriculum and learning platformContent related to wellness is not up-to-date or in-depth There is a cursory overview of many topics, but no scientific rigor or expansion on knowledge I already had based on reading wellness books on my own There is frequent mention of working with clients on issues that seem far outside the scope of a vaguely certified coach Most of the audio content is repurposed from old webinars Each module covers a wide variety of unrelated topics in a way that adds no value to the understanding of health issues or modalities There is no review of any of the assignments - changes have been made recently where you can't even submit them There is a cursory quiz for each section - also recently added In short - working through all of these materials absolutely did not prepare me to have an expanded point-of-view or expertise in wellnessMost of the focus was on putting together a "Lose Pounds in Days" kind of program - and even there there was no supporting learning that would make me in any way more qualified to put together such a program than I had been going in Total waste of $and they absolutely do not give refunds even if you ask right at the beginning (I did...) I am wildly disappointed

I researched this company extensively before I decided to take the plunge and I am so grateful that I didNot only did I find my experience a positive one, I found it to be life changingThe people that I have met in the program and through the program have been so supportive and very encouragingI thought that I was going into this program to help others and to make the lives of people better and I was surprised and excited that it did the very same thing to meThe IAWP walks their students through every single step of the certification process and if ever I had a question, there were a number of places that I could go for assistanceThis program takes you from student to graduate to business owner so smoothly with extensive tools that you will definitely utilize on your coaching journeyI learned more than I ever thought possible; the content is interesting and currentAs a recent graduate (2017) I would HIGHLY recommend this program to anyone that is looking to further their education in Wellness Coaching & CertificationThank you IAWP!

I have been in the health and wellness industry most of my lifeI had already received my health coaching certification through another company and had lots of knowledge and experience I was working feverishly to get my business going and knew that I could help people, but was struggling to get clients Then I found the IAWP I have learned more from the IAWP than I could have ever imagined I am continuously learning so much about wellness, coaching and business The IAWP has the tools that I need to feel confident and professional whether I am hosting a wellness class or in a one-on-one session with a client They are invested in my success!

I am a graduate of the IAWP Wellness Certification program and I loved the IAWP and Suzanne so much that I joined the team as a Student Advisor and Graduate Leader after graduation(This does not change my opinion, however, I do believe in full disclosure.)

I completed this program recently and I have had continued support even after graduationAt some points, I feel like I have more support now than when I was in the programThe leaders are helpful and try to work with all the studentsI chose this program since I already had some holistic wellness and health knowledge and needed support on coaching and expanding my businessI did get great wellness tips and resources, but this program is really built to guide you on how to coach others and business toolsI wish I would have received more feedback on some parts of the program and I know that changes are being made to create that for future studentsThe leaders are constantly updating and listening to what the students needThis is a great program if you are looking to expand or start a business in wellnessEveryone works behind the scenes to make this program beneficial for all and I believe they will continue to do so as the technology changesI am glad that I decided to do this program and already see many ways I have expanded in business and life

I cannot say enough positive things about the International Association of Wellness Professionals (IAWP) and my experience with them! I was able to complete the online program in about months and had lots of support along the way including getting to meet with my own wellness coachThey teach not only the CORE coaching method and how to coach clients, but also how to develop your own signature coaching programI am so proud and excited to announce that because of the IAWP, I opened my own coaching business and had had a lot of success! Inquired about a refund/partial-refund due to program not providing the level of professional detail needed for me to advance my career in this area This information was not provided anywhere on the website for me to review these terms due to my desire to remove myself from the program I have only accessed Module of 10, thus I have not reviewed or saved any proprietary material outside of that module I believe it is poor business practices to not offer some way for individuals who are dissatisfied with the program to unenroll and get some refund since this is common for other educational and training programs offered online
