Review: I purchased a battery from this company for my ipod, selecting their professional installation service. The battery performance has been substandard (will not always hold a charge) and I have been attempting to use their 60 day money back guarantee, no questions asked, for many weeks now. They keep just telling me to return the ipod to them and they will check the battery to see if it has a problem. I do not want them to do a battery check, or anything else, I want a full refund, no questions asked. Their website does not have information about how to exercise their full refund policy for a part that has been professionally installed inside my electronics, and cannot be removed and returned by me. I have asked them if they intend for me to return the ipod, they would remove the battery, and then return it to me without any battery installed, which would make the ipod useless. But they do not answer my questions, keep just sending me the same form email over and over. They do not answer their phones, and are now ignoring me after many many weeks of back and forth trying to get a refund.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund, no questions asked.
Review: I am contacting you in regards to a local Irvine business.
iPod Battery Depot (www.ipodbatterydepot.com) provided the worst service of any company that I have dealt with in years.
On April 7, I ordered a replacement battery and installation from them for my iPod Touch.
Upon receiving the shipping container, I sent the iPod to them, which they serviced and sent back.
After I got the iPod back, it would not stay powered up. I contacted them, and received an RMA number. I mailed (at my expense) the iPod back to them on May 6, indicating in detail the symptoms and that the device would not stayed powered up.
I was astonished to receive the iPod back on May 22, with no explanation and exactly the same symptoms.
This was a working iPod when I first mailed it to them, and in daily use.
Now, it is useless.
I had requesting a full refund of $50.99 which I paid to them via [redacted] but have not heard back.
Their quality of service, and total lack of customer service is the worst of any company that I have dealt with in years.
Thank you for addressing this in any way that you can.Desired Settlement: I wish no further dealings with iPod Battery Depot, other than a refund of the $50.99 that they charged me to break my iPod Touch. Thank you.
