We were very pleased with the work Irene Designs did for us. We had a complicated bathroom remodel and Irene was able to create plans and options that we would never have envisioned on our own. Irene took into account all of our wants and needs for the space and added practical and beautiful touches all within our budget.

Irene and Gene were thoroughly professional and open to our ideas. They were also knowledgeable about local distributors and salesrooms and offered some very useful suggestions. Every contractor came when they said they would, were friendly and competent, and left a clean work area each day. We love our new bathroom and would happily recommend them to anyone doing home renovation.

We discovered Irene from Irene Designs in our attempt to find a designer for our Master Bathroom remodel.
We had already started the planning process for this project without the input of a true designer and had begun to move forward. However we soon realized that what we really needed and should have done from the beginning was have the expertise of a professional design expert to provide plans, suggestions and ideas that would allow us to maximize our space and ultimately give us the bathroom we wanted
This expertise we found in Irene.
She met with us, along with her husband Gene an engineer and contractor who is this second part of this team, looked over our bathroom and discussed in detail what we had envisioned for our remodel.
She then provided us with multiple 3D renderings of alternative design choices, most of which we had never even considered, which greatly helped in visualizing how our bathroom could look
It makes a tremendous difference to see how your room could look from so many different views and gave us a unique opportunity to choose a plan that would best fit our needs
Irene is a very talented and insightful designer who is able to find solutions where others may see problems. Her suggestions are well thought out taking into considerations the needs and vision of the homeowner allowing for a plan that becomes a realistic collaboration

We were looking to do a bathroom remodel and were thrilled to find Irene from Irene Designs at our local Home Show. Irene Designs is unique in that not only do you get the expertise of a designer, you also get a very skillful contractor in her husband, Gene. They are an outstanding team. Based on our wishes, Irene created the layout and design of the bathroom while Gene handled the demolition and remodel work. Irene has superb vision and design knowledge with strict attention to detail. She designed a gorgeous curved soffit which is the highlight of our bathroom along with a perfect tile design. Irene, Gene and their team are very professional, easy to work with and were very neat while working in our home. They were always available and very responsive to any questions, suggestions or inquiries we had regarding our project - a refreshing change from most contractors. We are extremely happy with our remodel and Irene and Gene were a pleasure to work with.

I would absolutely recommend Irene Designs for home remodeling and improvement services. We had Irene designs remodel our bathroom and couldn't be happier with the solutions Irene has proposed. Her 3D sketches and plans were extremely helpful, and she did a fantastic job incorporating our wish list into the design while keeping it within our budget. Irene was able to advise on the latest items in the market and connect us with the appropriate vendors. From the moment you meet Irene, you can tell that design and remodeling is her passion, and she sees the possibilities and options my husband and I would have never thought of. This is not a typical review, but our association is unique and I trust that yours would be the same if you were to select Irene Design as your consultant. We met Irene at a home show. We had been thinking about remodeling the interior of our home, but wanted a design consultant to work with us. We contracted with Irene Design to be our consultant. During the first visit to our home to take pictures and discuss with us, what we liked and disliked, I pointed out to her that the carrying partition on the first flow did not run parallel to the outside wall. Thus, any pattern in the flooring would also appear to diverge from the wall. Irene, immediately suggested that the tiles be installed at a 45 degree angle, which totally eliminated the problem.
We then continued to work with Irene on the layout of the bathrooms, the wallpaper selection and the carpeting to mention only a small portions of the interactions we had with her in arriving at a design that met our needs and tastes. We had differences with Irene, but in each case Irene was always open to our suggestions. We would sit and discuss the pros and cons of each change and were always able to arrive at a decision that best met our needs.
Once, we had finalized the design, we prepared a bid specification setting out exactly what we expected the contractor to do and what we would supply. This bid specification was given to 4 separate contractors including Irene Design. It should be noted that Irene had assured us that she would work with whichever contractor we selected to assure us that the design, such as the tile layouts in the bathrooms would be done as she had planned.
While all four contractor bids were fairly close, Irene Designs bid was slightly less, so we selected them to perform the construction. At the same time we had also contracted with an electrician and a painter/wallpaper hanger. The electrician did an excellent job, however the painter made some serious errors in prepping the stair case walls for papering. After several attempts by the paper hanger to repair the problems, it became evident that all the paper in the stair case would have to be remove, the wall repaired and primed correctly and then repaper the whole area. Irene Design, on learning of this said that they would do the repair work at cost to help us out of this difficult situation.

We hired Irene Design for our basement finish project. Our goal was to have a finished basement that would provide enough room for entertainment to fit a bar and a pool table and would also have a guest room with a half bath. Initially Irene met with us to understand our ideas and then provided her own suggestions on how the space in our basement can be used in the most efficient way. We especially appreciated her showing us a few different 3D models with various design options. She also made her recommendations regarding materials for the project and helped to select them as well. The work itself was performed in a timely manner and we had our basement ready for our New Year party!
Working with Irene was a very pleasant experience as she has an ability to make your renovation job enjoyable and relaxing. We will definitely hire Irene for our next house renovation project.

We hired Irene Designs, LLC to design and provide construction services for our master bathroom. We wanted to upgrade our shower but, maintain the existing tile around our jacuzzi tub. Due to the layout of our tub and shower, it was a challenge to integrate the existing tile with the new tile however Irene did all the leg work and came up with a design that met our needs perfectly!! The quality of the design and the workmanship was superior!

We were looking for someone to do a bathrooms for us. What we got with Irene was a talented designer that was focused on meeting our needs. Irene developed several different arrangements and presented those as CAD drawings with several views to give us a good idea of what it would look like. She also helped us with the selection of materials for the installation and was good at suggesting suppliers for the best prices. We paid extra for the installation as opposed to other contractors but the price was well worth it to have Irene's services and Gene's attention to his customer needs.

I worked with Irene S[redacted] on the remodeling of my Raised-Ranch style home.
She showed me several designs and layouts which helped with the decision making process as I could see what the end result would look like. Irene also suggested some other useful and decorative ideas and assisted me in selecting materials to my taste and style by paying close attention to detail currently in the house.
Irene also gave me various ideas to consider possibly for the future. She was not "pushy" but wanted to bring up some ideas that I may not consider on my own. Irene also ensured that any usable doors, windows, closet doors or whatever that I already had were used if at all possible to save on costs.
I enjoyed working with Irene, I would use her services again and recommend her for any remodeling projects. She has great creative ideas to share, her prices are reasonable and she is a pleasure to work with.
Also I would like to comment on the great workers and craftsman associated with Irene Designs. From the demolition of walls and the construction of walls, installing windows where there were no windows previously, repairing my hardwood floors where the walls were taken down to the staining and installation of doors, plumbing, heating, electrical, plus a variety of other related items. And the tile work – outstanding!!!!!! Wall tiles, floors, showers, I can’t say enough about how beautiful the tile work is.
All the workers were very polite, considerate, friendly, and very good at what they do. They cleaned up after themselves each day and I had no hesitation having them in my home. I would without a doubt use them all again.

Irene Designs is a rare combination of traditional customer service and modern design esthetic. Irene and Gene, the husband and wife team behind Irene Designs helped us with our kitchen remodel. Irene designed the new space and together with Gene oversaw the renovation, which lasted approximately 4 months. Both Irene and Gene were exceptionally responsive, always reachable by phone and email, listening to our ideas, addressing our concerns and effectively dealing with the unforeseen contingencies that often arise during construction. Irene and Gene also brought along a reliable, high-quality team of subcontractors, who demonstrated superb craftsmanship and unparalleled attention to detail. In the end, Irene Designs helped us actualize a striking contemporary yet functional kitchen space that is now the heart and soul of our house. We plan to work with Irene Designs again for our future remodeling projects.

From the beginning, Irene and Gene were exceptionally accommodating and knowledgeable. They came out to our home, looked at the projects we wanted to have done and gave us some great ideas. Irene went back to her office and worked up several potential designs while remaining open to changes and in constant contact with us during the process. When needed, Gene he would stop by and take additional measurements, taking the time to chat with my mother-in-law and play with our dog. Upon completion of the design stage, Irene and Gene had us over to their office to review the proposed designs.
Once the design was chased, Gene went into action and within days he was there and the demolition started. One of Gene's workers, quickly became a favorite of my wife. Denis was one of the hardest working young men and was always polite, working late hours to meet deadlines. As things progressed, Irene was there to make sure things were on track and to handle any potential problems. Irene is the consummate professional and hold the crew (including Gene) to the highest standards. Irene also spent a lot of hours shopping with us to help us pick out materials while staying within the budget for the most part.
Then end result were 2 fabulous and highly functional bathrooms. As with any project of this size, there were minor touch-ups and Gene and or his crew were right there to make sure they were done to our satisfaction. Gene and company spend almost 6 months in our home and we truly came to think of them as family.

We had our master bathroom remodeled and are very happy with the result. It was a very small bathroom with only one sink and a fiberglass bathtub. We could not even imagine how to make this bathroom bigger and better, but thanks to Irene's architectural expertise and her great ideas, we ended up with a beautiful new bathroom plus a linen closet. Gene and his crew did a great job gutting the bathroom and remodeling it. We had help from Irene with the design part of the tiles and thanks to a job well done by Dennis it all looks beautiful. The heated floor was expertly installed and is radiating cozy heat. We are grateful for the expert advise and suggestions along the way ie. flooring, tiling and installation of cabinets and plumbing ideas. Also the whole crew took special care to keep things as clean as it is possible, when you do a major job like this. They always cleaned the area at the end of the day!
