On May 2 2014 [redacted] contacted our office about computer

issues she was having. She had two computers that were not running

as she wished, which we in turn fixed for her.she was charged

$150.00 per computer to fix. At the end of this process we have the

tech who worked on [redacted] computer go over with her the work

that was done. At that point [redacted] signed off that her

computers were working satisfactory to her( can provide document

upon request) and that we completed the work as described.[redacted]

 then went to her [redacted] and tried to reverse the charges. She

was denied and then she came to you. In reading her complaint it is

obvious she is defaming our company only to try to get a refund. Our

customer service tried to contact her to resolve this for her, buy

she has refused the help and further communication with us. We have

found that there is a reason why peoples PC are messed up and it is

usually by user error.We cannot control what someone clicks on or

downloads again after we complete our work, which if [redacted] again

was having problems it is her doing. We are committed to helping our

mutual customers, and want them to be happy with the services

provided. We are happy to work with her is doing so. Let me know her

resolution.

Review: Recently done business with these folks to gain access to my email account. After the work was so called completed, the following items were happening:Tried to download photos and computer locks up.Computer is still slow.My anti-virus has been deleted.The original problem of not being able to access my email and getting an error 999 has not been solved.Charged $200.00Can you say RIPOFF!Desired Settlement: Refund of money paid and provided a disc of my former antivirus to reinstall on my computer.

I contacted my credit card company and they told me that I had indeed received the $200.00 refund from iRESTORE. Is it plausible that a grandmother from the [redacted] area, who has children and grandchildren working in computers, would call [redacted] in [redacted] for computer advice? I only wish iRESTORE would produce the recording of their phone call to me from the time I said "hello" so you could appreciate this scam.

Review: IRestor was supposed to help with any problems I have with my computer. I have called at least 5 times and left a number and they never returned my call. One of the services on the agreement was Pop-up removal. I was unable to obtain a needed 1099 because of this blockage.Desired Settlement: Call me and then delete the pop-up block.

Review: Last week I got in touch with this company over the computer and they showed me the viruses in my computer (a [redacted]), and they said they would fix it. I was told I did not have protection on my computer. They told me that if they fixed it I wouldn't have any more problems with viruses or anything of that sort. I payed them 200 via my checking account. I found out, after talking to Microsoft, that going through this company that I was only protected against viruses between 30%-40%. I was lead to believe they would take care of everything. I can not get a hold of this company, the phone just keeps ringing or it goes dead. I finally got in touch with someone after leaving a message and then no one ever called me back.Desired Settlement: I would like my $200 back. Or I would like to job completed correctly.

After every completion the customer signs off that the work was successfully completed on there computer and their issues are resolved, which Ms. [redacted] did. But our number one priority is making sure are customers are happy with the work done. So we as a company will make sure this issue is resolved. Also as part of our resolution the customer will email or contact you as well as copy us that their issue is resolved and they are happy.

Review: I contacted the firm listed. My computer wouldn't work right. I had moved and could no longer use the same email address. It was full of pop-ups and add-ons etc. After several days of leaving my computer on all the time with no activity, I became suspicious and logged on to it. Nothing had been done. I had the same problems that I had before. They had not contacted me to set up a new email address nor restored my email addresses. I checked and found several claims of people who had been scammed just as I apparently had. I contacted my Discover Card to stop payment. They contacted the place and was sent a fake contract. with my supposed signature. Discover accepted it and I had to pay $350.00 I reported it to the FTC and learned that there had been several complaints in the past I don' t really expect to get my money back. I hope you will check this firm out and help stop them from scamming anyone else. I have since taken my computer to a local place and they removed viruses, malware, etc. They set up a new email address, but they couldn't restore all my old email addresses. Thank You. If the individual complaining has not received her money back from her credit card company, I will make sure she gets a full refund. The individual who sold her does not work for this company and did this as a satellite away from the office. Hopefully this will rectify this situation.

Review: I was having trouble with my computer trying to get my [redacted]. mail. A pop up asked what was my problem and stated they could assist with my [redacted]. problem and they were a service company doing this work. Remotely they could take over and fix my problem. We had conversations and work began. The fee was stated and paid with my credit card. I was given a name and person to call if I had any problems.

I did have a problem a few days later and called. I was told the tech who did the work would call me back. They never called back .

I complained to my credit card company and they got information from them that the original work was done and I paid the $200.00 dollar fee. Their promise to assist if I had problems was not honored and I had to call another service to fix the problem. I want my $200.00 refunded.Desired Settlement: I want my money refunded.

I have no confidence that this company did quality work nor that they are working with or for [redacted]. They asked for my [redacted] password which I refused to give them. This was my first warning that they are opportunists.

Review: I restore stated they could make repairs to speed up my computer for $200.00. Yet 24 hrs later more issues started with my computer. Put a freeze on my debit card after trying over12 times to resolve issues with I restore. On 12/03/14 my bank reversed the charges over a dispute. Here it is 01/22/15 and the charges are showing up again. Never has I Restore provided me with any services positive. I had to pay $125.00 to fix the problems created by I Restore, items unrelated to faster speed.Desired Settlement: Stop attempting to charge for services the are not providing.

We are more than happy to resolve this issue. Our customer service department has no record of this customer calling in 12 times to resolve this issue. She charged back her payment for services rendered and we responded to the chargeback. That is why it showed up on her card again. After we perform our service the customer signs off that they are happy with the services rendered. We cannot control what they add to their computer after we are done with it. More times than not they get in the same trouble by downloading items again and again. We are happy to help this individual resolve her issues. She just needs to call us to resolve. A chargeback is fraud claiming the services were not rendered when indeed the customer signs off that they were.

Review: On May,2 2014 I needed help with my laptop. My regular IT person was out of town. A company called irestorenow said they could fix it for $300. However my laptop was worse. I had no [redacted] no email my pictures were also gone. [redacted] claims all there business are safe. they did not tell me they don't cover services.I tried to contact irestorenow, three times they just lost the connection. My IT person worked for over aweek to restore some things. We could not get [redacted] in. They wanted $200 to restore it. I feel I was scammed. Lied to, and missed lead. Now I am getting the run around. The receipt no is [redacted]. this is for irestorenow. Bill me later claim # is [redacted]. My laptop is better. irestorenow said I had 4-5 viruses in it my IT person cleaned out 4 and a trojen virus. I don't think irestorenow did anything to fix my laptop. And my printer is not responding.

no one from the business ever tryed to reach us. I had called two days later received no response, the third and fourth time the line was disconnected. My neighbor and IT man can testify to redoing the computers and finding several viruses in both computers Which was to have been fixed by the business. We lost family, vacation pictures. I lost patterns, sewing techniques and pictures. The desk top was not as bad as the laptop but still needed more repair work. We are not in the habit of wanting something for nothing we always work hard for have and paid for it.

In reviewing [redacted] claim we strongly disagree with her. Our customer service department is and always has been very attentive to customers calling in for any reason. At no point has our phone numbers been disconnected as they always work. It is clear to see that [redacted] is used to receiving services and then getting her money back by her fraudulent claim stating lack of service and customer support. She attempted to charge back and was denied in her claim to do so as [redacted] ruled in our favor. We are issuing her a refund of $300.00 to make her whole, but do so only to resolve this complaint as this complaint is fraudulent. One of our recourse's may be to report her fraudulent claims to the credit service bureaus so it can be permanently noted on her credit report. We will deny her any form of service in the future as we choose not to work with dishonest people. The check will be received with in 10 business days.

Did not get rid of popups or any other problems I am having with my computer. She contacted us numerous times to fix her computer. She kept downloading programs that had malicious software attached to them. We explained severaltimes not to do this. She insisted on doing it anyway.We decided after all the time we spent helping her and educating her on how to keep her computer in good working order that the $100.00 USD she paid was not worth the hours our technicians spent when she kept insisting on downloading a specific malicious program.We issued a refund check In the amount of $100.00 USD on 4/27/15.As you can see from the supporting documentation,the refund has already been processed and we will no longer be Ms. [redacted] computer repair service company. She continues to call in and ask for help,but we have cancelled her service and she is not entitled to any further assistance from our company.Please mark this case as closed as it is apparent the refund has already been issued and Ms.Medairos will no longer receive service from us.Respectfully, [redacted]

Review: On February 11 2014 I was on my computer trying to get some help from my service company [redacted]. a screen pop up about repair a person ask me what the problem was I told him and let him into my computer.
