Review: On April 10 2015 I purchased my first car it was used but I was guaranteed it was a great used car and that it was safe. I was also told it was as is and no warranty . Not even one month later on may 3 2015 the rod in engine blew threw the motor. From that I am not only out of a vehicle that was said to be reliable but also I paid $400 for it to be towed. After having my mechanic look at the vehicle I was told the total cost to fix was around $2100. I had just paid cash in full not even a month prior for the car. Me and my family have been completely stressed over the situation at hand . So I call Iridez auto sales from which I purchased the vehicle (2004 [redacted]a) and I find that they are no longer at the location of where I purchased . After some research I learned of new contact number and address. I emailed them called them and left messages all over none of which out of line because I thought they would help. I finally received a call back and began to explain the delema at hand. To my surprise the dealer tried to say it was my fault the car engine blew within two weeks of purchase and he can not help me . He proceeded to tell me things I was not made aware of such as someone purchased the car before me and returned it in two weeks . But when I purchased the car I was only told the just received it less than a month before hand. I was also told he would call me back so he can look for a way to fix car but haven't heard back. Before our conversation was over I explained that I was not trying to return the car I just wanted him to reimburse me for the bad engine he sold in the vehicle . I'm not sure what to do....Desired Settlement: To settle the matter I only ask that Iridez auto sales pays the cost of the new engine from where I feel safe to purchase at/from and I will pay for the mechanics labor of $600. My mechanic has already found a reliable engine that fits the vehicle the right way. It is $1500.00 and I feel that is reasonable considering the $400.00 I spent on the tow . Also fearing my safety from the engine and rod blowing while on freeway.

We are unable to help this customer further at this point and we believe this is an invalid complain. We already spoke to her and cleared it with her that based on the contracts she signed with us this car was as is mechanical and structural. Also, at the time of purchase the car was running fine. We didn't promise to fix anything verbally or written. We also offered a warranty to be purchased but she refused.
