The reason I selected Quality Services Moving to handle our move last year from Montclair, VA to Denver, CO, was because of the promises to treat Veterans with honor and respect; as well as offering quality services But I cannot emphasize how betrayed I feel as a result of this relationship Forty-six years of government service, including years of military service, a retired veteran clearly meant nothing in terms of genuine care and services; not to mention the lack of respectThere are four specific factors that illustrate my dissatisfaction and have caused me to feel cheated and victimized: While standing in my living room, when specifically asked about moving our piano you assured me you specialized in moving pianos The moving crew that arrived to move us out of Montclair did not know they were moving a piano and did not have the appropriate equipment I watched as they allowed our piano to slide down the concrete front steps of our residence Then the delivery crew in Denver arrived not knowing they had a piano either The piano was not on a piano board and merely standing on edge in the front of the truck There were only employees unloading and they did not have a lift gate or adequate equipment to properly unload the piano I watched and took photos as they slide the piano down a 45-degree ramp coming to rest with a thud on the asphalt street The piano received noticeable body and finish damage; and unknown internal damage as your contracted furniture inspector feared possible citing the potential of damage to the sound board, which he was not able or qualified to inspect He informed me he would include this in his report to Quality Services Moving stating it would be pointless to repair the visible damage if the sound board was damaged; thus, recommending a qualified piano restoration inspectionWe paid extra to have the dishes and fragile items packed by a professional packing crew Upon unpacking we found numerous platters and serving dishes (most antique and handmade, thus irreplaceable) shatteredI purchased additional insurance to provide full repair, replacement, or compensation for any loss incurred in this move Yet I received a very delayed final settlement with absolutely no means to challenge and no explanation for the decision The letter received with the determination of settlement stated if I had question to let them know, but they refused to answer questions or provide the documents they utilized to determine the liability In fact, I was quickly admonished for reaching out to the local furniture company that performed the inspection in order to get a copy of the report they provided Quality Services Moving; and was key in determining the outcome The response I finally received was that third party documents were not going to be released to me This begs the question of what is Quality Services Moving hiding? I cannot believe that there is absolutely no transparency I paid for the moving, the packing, the extra insurance, and have a take-it-or-leave settlement without any recourse This is outrageously unethicalSeeing no options and receiving no guidance from Quality Service Moving on how to seek a reconsideration of the determined liability I deposited the settlement check But to my surprise it was returned as insufficient funds in that account So I have no money and incurred a service fee for the returned check This really added insult to injuryI sincerely resent the application of the “Veterans trump” card to gain business and make a profit off our backs Just one more betrayal and broken promise to Veterans How shameful and unconscionable!

Military move from temp storage to [redacted] *** Hired to pickup additional items from [redacted] on the way to [redacted] to move all items Items specific as "IMPORTANT" for move were 65inch flat screen TV and tables with glass tops Movers arrived to [redacted] without room for any items other than one TV Had to go to [redacted] to drop items to allow for room in the moving truck Some items, including 1/piece of a sectional, were not included in shipment Returned to [redacted] and came without any moving supplies including ZERO BOXES OR TAPE, and nothing to pad or wrap the TV or glass tables with Written clearly, on the first line of the invoice is the information about the inch TV and other boxes, etc When I called the day of to verify, I was told two trucks were coming to do one move each Only one truck and one crew was sent Then when I called the office line again to ask why nothing was correct, they said to let the movers move the other items first an

Natural Grocery has a points reward program called Npower whereby they have a rewards system whereby you are rewarded 2$ at pts Then 5$ at ptsand so onToday the checker informed me that I was rewarded 5$ because I spent 35$ on earth dayBUT I have to receive an email from Npower & activate the reward to be awarded at next purchase I have not received these emails for months & have to call [redacted] in Colo repeatedly in order for the reward to finally appear on my purchase at registerI have started another round of calling this wk for a 2$ rewardI have left messages over the past or days & have not received a call back from a ***, I believe his name isStarts w a "*" This has been going on for months, this problem about receiving rewards as they say it should work & I have to wheedle the reward out of themIt takes several calls & days

Recently spent thousands of dollars  with them My husband (a former Marine) met their sales person and immediately trusted him because he was also a Marine A huge mistake! The result was damaged and wet furniture, delivery people that could not speak English and therefore could not understand where to place itemsThe only English speaking person, kept disappearing while we desperately tried to get the "movers" to understand what we were saying Refusal to move items (I was told was included in a moving pack for each TV which I paid additional for !(speakers, DVD players), etc, were not placed on the moving truck!  Mud and dirt left behind in home we moved from (I had to hire cleaning people to come in) and had to rent an additional truck and drive myself in the middle of the night with a young toddler and a dog after cleaning up their mess and putting the items they left behind on the truck I rented by myself!  I then had to drive the rental truck back

My mother is on an extremely limited budget, as she is living on social security She still likes to buy many of her groceries at Natural Grocers/Vitamin Cottage I went shopping with her a couple of weeks ago to help her with her budget I noticed many of the bulk items she purchased at Natural Grocers/Vitamin Cottage rang up for a higher price than listed on the shelves/products One example was their bulk grain cereal mix, which showed a price of $1.07, but rang up at $at the register In fact, of items she purchased, were priced incorrectly and rang up for a higher price Though it may not seem like much, we're talking close to a 20% increase in advertised price vs charged price This can add up quickly on multiple items, and easily breaks her grocery budget How is someone supposed to live and stick to a budget if they can't accurately determine pricing?
I tried to bring the problem to the attention of the store manager, but it was shrugged off as a corporate

Quality Services Moving (QSM) provided moving services on 28th April The move entitled the transfer of less than items from a one bedroom apartment in Woodbridge VA to Old Town Alexandria VA The initial quote was for hours; the movers managed to stretch it out to hours Second, the movers failed to wrap or protect my mattress and box spring; which were both soiled and damaged Third, the movers broke my bed and have not reimbursed me for damages
I contacted my moving agent and wrote a letter on 10th May I have not heard from QSM

The move date was August 27, The truck arrived hours late, the crew was slow and unprofessional, the job took almost twice as long to complete as estimated, I was overcharged by almost 50%, the company was non-responsive to my concerns until threatened with formal action, and I was basically called a liar when they did respond

I had the company come for an in-person estimateThey saw all my stuff and could see what an accurate amount of time would be For some reason, these people ended up taking hours for a local two bedroom apartment moveThey put none of the boxes in the correct rooms they were labeled and just stacked them in the living room They threw boxes around that were clearly marked Fragile and broke tons and tons of my dishes Then, because of their incompetence, tried to charge me $over my estimate because it took them so long to do Even though by contract they could only charge an additional $over estimate The team was angry and mean with me when I said I would not pay the extra $ I made a claim with their insurance and they refused to pay for the MANY MANY broken dishes, though I provided pictures It was the worst moving experience of my life

Contracted with the business to provide packing of home and moving from Gainesville, VA to Fredericksburg, VA Two hours late after workers had already moved two other homes and exhausted Left my home in disarray Did not disburse any boxes throughout the home Left everything in the garage Boxes not packed properly- many many broken items-- broken china, broken furniture- furniture not put together like contracted-- many boxes only had one inappropriately packed item in them ( relevant as I was charged to pack and per box over 3K) Also missing jewelry and rolex watchesI have pictures etcI have been contacting to Mike S*** to no avail Persons were supposedly going to get back in touch to finish and go through broken items etc No one has called back I am a year old military widow and am appalled that I would be treated in such a manner

On several occasions I have gone to Vitamin Cottage in Arvada and they refuse to accept their own couponsTonight I went to the store to purchase a Natural Grocers Vitamin and had a coupon emailed to me from them for 25% offThe coupon would not come up in there system they claimed that the coupon was sent out by Npower which is not Vitamin Cottage even though the emails clearly state Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage on themMargarite verified the offer was valid and that the coupon was for the item we wanted to purchase but would not override the price nor accept the couponShe stated we would have to contact [email protected] said they would not take money away from their store for this couponI also talked with another manager Traci (although she did not have a name tag) and she stated that this happens all the time and they will not honor the coupons sent by their companyShe said if she honored them she would lose her job for modifying an advertised priceTh

Terrible is too good of a word for this companyThey only present a final contract after they pack your homeThe packers are not professionals to say the leastMany items arbrokenNone of pur matresses has protective coversOnce the ruck arrived at the new homeThere was only man to do the job of No one attempted to rectify the issueIn fact the owners son was rude, unprofessional, and a bully to myself and my husband (who ended up unloading the truck with the one gentlemen) They refused to after our 3rd call for help to even answer the phoneWe had man to unload a bedroom home! Now they claimed that a check bouncedWe didn't pay by checkWe paid by Amex (we now have an open dispute over the bill since my husband did 50% of the work of unloaders who were no where to be seenThey even stopped communicating with the employee who did show) Their lack of professionalism, thievery and chauvinistic attitude is evident in everything that has so far transpiredHidden fees, broken dishes (the bow was labeled fragile high value but they put our Crystal on the bottom of the box) Beware of these disgusting excuse for quality movers

THEY LOST VALUABLE ITEMS AND WOULD NOT MAKE GOOD ON THEM

Everything about them from start to finish was absolutely terrible I paid to have them pack my kitchen and everything on my walls They called me the morning they were supposed to come out and said they were sending people and only showed up When I called them back they were surprised and said were dispatched and they would see what was going on and call me back I had to call them back several times and was left with only one person the entire day Then, they had my move date wrong, and after trying to fix it several times I had to adjust my schedule and the schedule of those that were helping me because they didn't make things right Then on moving day (which was the wrong day as mentioned earlier) they said they were supposed to have people moving, but only showed up with They started at 9:30am and didn't finish until almost midnight!!!! They did not put things where they were supposed to go..damaged some things..etc I did not sign anything about what was to b
