The lease was signed through island auto group which is why I am holding them responsible for my car not being able to be driven and registered. This should have been looked at before any signing was done, part of signing a lease included registration and direct commincation between dealership and DMV. If I knew this would have been an issue I would never had leased a car that I cannot drive or register. This is a complete scam.

This isn't money owed from the lease with our Chrysler store. The customer owes tax on a car bought from a Lexus dealership and the state will not allow this to be complete until they pay taxes owed on that precious car. car and they were not helpful. We wouldn't know what transpired at another store as it wasn't our fault as to why this situation is at hand. The customer can email me their contact info at [email protected] and we'll schedule an appointment for them to come in and speak. Chrysler is the only company that can do what they're looking for but from what I understand they won't as it's not anyone's doing on the Chrysler or island end of the deal.

[Your Answer Here] After receiving the last response from island auto group asking for me to contact them I called them and got another dead end response. The man I spoke with just repeatedly said that the dealership was not responsible for all the months my car did not have registration or plates. I explained that it was the dealerships responsibility to make sure registration was taken care of during the lease signing. Registration fees were included in the lease and were the dealerships part of the agreement. Temporary plates should not have been issued if there was no way the car could be properly registered. It is a complete scam to have a customer pay for a car for 10 months that cannot be driven. I've made several trips to the dealership to try and resolve this issue and didn't get anywhere. It wasn't until I filed a complaint with Revdex.com that my plates were delivered. They only took action when they felt threatened which is horrible. I've wasted thousands of dollars on a car I couldn't drive. If the dealership was more thorough and professional this would have never happened, I am suffering mentally and financially because of the dealerships Negligence.
