good luck with warranty support
Purchased a Seadoo jetski with 3 year warranty less than 2 years ago. Had issues from the get go. Island was incapable of fixing initially and promised to correct if the issue persisted. It did. But trying to get them to make an appointment to return for the warranty repair work was nearly impossible. And when we did, they not only failed to fix, but wanted to charge us for warranty work due to the time lapse (which they caused). And upon request, they would not allow me to speak to any decision maker (owner). The service team are awful. And Sales simply pretnds to try to assist to protect future busienss. There wont be any. We will be trading up this year to a larger machine, but definitely NOT with Island Power Sports )and probably not with Seadoo. Not interested in their dealer/scam nonsense. And reaching out to Sea-Doo corp was a waste of time.
Reminds me of the way car dealers treated folks 30-40 years ago; truly bait & switch.

I have received a phone call from ***, *** of Island Powersports the day I file the complaint*** apologize for the confusion and said my $2000 deposit was refunded days agoI check my account that day and there was not a refund and/or creditI waited additional days and still no refundThinking that I might not be looking in the correct location for the refund, I call the credit card companyI was informed by my credit card company that NO refund was issue by Island Powersports.
As of this day, days have passed and I still have not received my refund/credit

No Island powersports (didn't) give me any information on this dirt bike that I purchased from them, actually when my boyfriend and I picked the bike up from their dealership the sales person that sold us the bike only gave us the temporary certificate of registration and the license plate(Nothing else!) My boyfriend already has knowledge on these stroke dirt bikes because he owned a few of them in the past as well as supersport bikes, but as far as our sales person giving us any information on this dirt bike that is a statement! (If) my boyfriend didn't know anything about this bike and blew the engine up on his own (than) I wouldn't have to be doing this right now or getting Revdex.com involved but thats not the case , the case is that my boyfriend didn't even ride this bike for minutes or had it for hours before something went wrong with the productLike I stated before our sales person didn't give us any information or paperwork for this bike besides the temporary registration and the license plateWhen we picked the bike up she didn't go over anything on the bike ,all she did was hand me the temp registration and license plate and a young man from the service department helped my boyfriend load the bike on the back of our truckThe very next day we dropped the bike back off because it was giving us problems and the guys down at Island powersports told my boyfriend to leave the bike there and they are going to take a look at it, days later I got a call from island powersports and they said something about the engine being blown and it would cost us $just for them to open the engine and take a look at itSo on monday 6/*/my boyfriend and I went to island powersports to talk to someone about this bike and plead our case, my boyfriend spoke to a guy in the service department which was a very very nice guy and he told us to go speak with a ***My boyfriend spoke with a *** which was also was a very nice guy and he told us that he was going to open up the engine at no charge and take a look at it to discover the problem…Don't get me wrong Island powersports is a Great dealership and the guy in the finance department really worked his butt off in getting me this loan for this bike with the least amount of cash down but I'm not here to try and get over on them but whats right is right and whats wrong is wrong and This bike definitely not right!

They won't let you give less than a star.....
This is the most unprofessional service department I have ever seen. They hold the vehicle for months, fix only what is convenient for them and then upon return of the vehicle, tell us there is more wrong with it. Two times they returned it broken - they're own delivery service couldn't get it on the truck the first time they tried to return it, the second time - after holding it hostage for additional payment, they returned it rattling and it broke down within the first hour of coming off the truck. From Jimmy down to Mike, you could not get a straight answer! We didn't mind paying whatever it needed to be fixed, we just wanted it fixed - this has been going on since March and we got it back still broken in August.
GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!!!!

Yes you are right I wrote the wrong date by accident and no it had nothing to do with a maintenance issue if the bikes 3 weeks old out of ur shop and its having problems , no I do not want you to look at it and I want my money back you can have your bike thanks

Review: I purchased a motorcycle for my boyfriend back in dec 2013. Without my knowledge they added on a protection plan for $995 I guess because im a female and thought I would be whatever about it. I was NOT aware of this and the finance person [redacted] never even asked or went over anything when I was signing the final paperwork. He told me it was the price and taxes etc. A few weeks later I received a letter in the mail about the protection plan which is optional and said I had 30 days to cancel it and was like what? I never wanted any plan that was extra...when I contacted them stating I never said I wanted it and wasn't aware of it, they told me I had to contact the dealer to take it off. I called the finance department and he told me he thought I was aware and played kind of dumb about it and I said even if I was aware of it, you as the finance person are suppose to go over EVERYTHING and told me he would take care of it, I would get my refund and I said do I have to come down to the shop to sign anything, he said no. He said the 995 would be taken off by the first bill.......I get my first bill mid jan.......not taken off so I call him ......I had to call a few times because he doesn't want to talk hes either not there or with customers...told him again he said he would take care of it....by next bill it would be taken off...Feb comes.....I get my bill STILL ON........I call again after several attempts he finally talks and tells me oh the check from the plan was lost in the mail I will follow up and the check will be overnighted to the bank you will not see it on the next months bill.........yesterday I get another bill STILL ON and ive been calling him for three days..hes either with customers, not there, or out to lunch and just avoiding my calls.......this is ridiculous. They are playing games and put a plan on that I did not want and want my refund of the 995 that was suppose to be in JAN..we are now in march.Desired Settlement: I want the refund of the $995 of the plan they put on without my knowledge that I was suppose to get back in Jan and was told by [redacted] for three months it would be off....Well every bill I get it is still on .......
