retailer not a manufacturer. We do apologize. We also in 2014 had the manufacturer send [redacted] a set of top ledges for his pool and had them installed as well.  ?

We do sincerely apologize the pump in question is on backorder as explained to [redacted] when we called her and left a message with the information. We have re-scheduled the appointment based on anticipated arrival from the manufacturer or We can process a full refund for the order since...

no equipment has left our facility as of yet.  We do apologize but it is a manufacturers delay on the pump we do have the filter tank on the order. We just Need [redacted] let us know how to proceed with her order with us. We have left a message on the number provided ###-###-#### to no avail...

Again, how does Island Recreation know what the problem is if they have never come to inspect the unit or the installation job by their installer?  Second, neither the installer nor myself ever indicated that my old pump, or plumbing was leaking, if as Island Recreation claims, the o-ring was missing, how would the old unit not be leaking?  Finally, as part of the purchase of this pump, I filed for a mail in rebate from the local utility as part of the [redacted] rebate program, again, rather than take the time to come to my house to address my complaint, I was just notified by [redacted] that my rebate is no longer valid because I "returned the pump" according to the vendor.  Again, instead of coming to my house checking their poor workmanship and fixing the problem, Island Recreation would rather spend hours making sure to continue to ruin my pool experience.  I can provide that document should you wish.  I have now contracted with a reputable pool company to close my pool for the season and will no longer allow Island Recreation access to my property.  They have had since I believe June ** or thereabouts to remedy this and have chosen not to.  Kind of funny, I was telling my friend recently the story and before I even could tell him the problem, he stopped me after saying Island Recreation and I quote "let me guess, you are on the long list of people they screwed"!

We have spoken directly to [redacted] in reference to his issue with his bank holding funds against his account. We simply requested since the inception of this issue requested a bank statement showing the funds withdrawn from the account. Per [redacted] it is only pending or on hold at...

this time. We have explained to [redacted] it generally takes 72 hours for his banking institution to post the transaction to his account in the term it is in a temporary hold state.

No supervisor received any message to contact in reference to an issue with the pump.  The credit card company did not contact, they have my direct line as they have called me on prior cases. The notes on our installation paperwork and yours states that the union from your old pump is missing...

an o ring.  That is the cause of the leak. There is no crack in ANY pipe.  This was written on the installation completion paperwork on June [redacted].  If the pump is a direct swap, which it was, the old unions are used to install. No one was home at the time of the installation so the paperwork was marked "Leak at discharge union swapped from old pump. need o ring."

Just like I was lied to about the packet being mailed out on Friday August [redacted] and me receiving it by August [redacted], I am lied to again as there is nothing in my mail from Island Recreational today on Wednesday August [redacted].  This company just doesn't know when to stop lying!

At the current time we have ordered an adapter need by [redacted] for his pump to resolve this issue at the current time. Once the desired part arrives to our facility we will contact [redacted] to pick one up at no charge as a courtesy to resolve this issue. Thanks

At the time of the installation, the skimmer and the return could not be put on the pool.  Yes, this means the installation was not completed.  The skimmer brings the water from the pool into the filter, the return sends it back to the pool.  However, the pool would be slowly filled...

as the liner stretches.  the installer came back the following day to install the skimmer and the return.  The installation of the filter and pump is not included, nor was it paid to the installer upon installation.  The filter/pump are to be installed by the customer.

  I have not been given any response to any email other than Ill order something. There was never a direct response to my request in May to do something. An very unprofessional email saying we will order something ant will get back to me. The pool is rotting away I was not happy with this to date and thats why I contacted the Revdex.com. I don't know why it wasn't delivered not just makes me want to boil. I would like to have a threeway phone call to discuss, which I think I deserve. This is something Island Rec has since May and the response is unacceptable. I want Island Rec to replace the pool. Thanks

The $1,250.00 check will be mailed out Certified on Friday.

On july [redacted], Brian spoke to [redacted] and informed him that once he received the parts in question, he is to call us and we will install them at no charge. This offer is still valid.

We have processed a refund in the amount of $217.24 and have cancelled the warranty entered prior.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Island Recreational regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
the warranty company is only willing to cover part of the problem and we are still waiting for Island Rec to see if they are going to...

[redacted] made a purchase of a filtration system on 3/**/15 and scheduled a installation for 4/**/15. [redacted]'s banking institution had place a double hold on the transaction for the full amount. We explained to [redacted] it is the bank placing the hold and it takes 72 business hours for a...

hold to come off of his account. In the interim [redacted] filed complaints that we intentionally took double funds from his account. Nevertheless as explained the hold came off of his account in the 72 hour period. Our receipt explained our right to refuse service as a business. We in the interest of good customer service explained that since the order was already placed we would go ahead and complete the installation for the accessory equipment purchased. [redacted] upon picking up of the equipment decided that he want to replace the lining for the structure. We explained to [redacted] that we would install the equipment purchased but do not want to install a liner as well and was not initially contracted to purchase a liner. [redacted] requested a refund for all of the equipment purchased because we would not take on the additional items of purchase as we did not want any further issues nor any discrepancy with his bank again holding the funds twice. [redacted] at that time discontinued his order with us and has received a refund. We at this time had tried to work with [redacted] but did not want to take on any additional workmanship beyond what was originally contracted.
