We understand the customers frustration however, the initial concern was caused by an outside vendor who installed an aftermarket stereo system in this vehicleThe Failure of the vehicle BCM (Body Control Module) presented issues that we needed to identifyThose issues were repairedA new issue surfaced caused by a wire harness chaffing, Ford needed us to eliminate the concern was not related to the original problemThe part(wire harness) is on back orderThe vehicle will be fixed as soon as the part arrivesThank you

Sayville Ford has looked at this vehicle and has consulted with Ford Motor Company on the transmission concernsFord Motor Company states that the driving characteristics of this vehicle are normalThis vehicle has an automatic transmission that experiences the lag and shutter of a manual transmission on occasionFord Motor Company warranties this vehicle transmission control module for years/150,miles to provide the customer proof that they will stand behind their productThe vehicle fuel fill neck was replace, no further actions were necessary as this concern could not be duplicatedSayville Ford want to satisfy every customer however, we follow Ford Motor Companies guidelines concerning vehicle repairsIf the vehicle concern worsens or can be duplicated please call ford an appointment and we will address the issue right away

Unfortunately, the agents representing Ford of Sayville continue to refuse to honor their agreements with me*** ***, John M***, and Arthur O*** were all acting as agents of the firm on behalf of Ford of SayvilleBetween these three agents, they had agreed to fix/repair the weather stripping to the vehicle, repaint the entire hood of the vehicle, and either repair or replace the driver side pillar molding. When deciding which vehicle I would be purchasing, the finance manager, Arthur O***, and I came to an agreement that I would purchase the current vehicle under these agreements as well as the extended warrantyThe extended warranty had been quoted at $2,I had advised Mr.O*** to have the vehicle held for purchase and he set the delivery date for 8/**/The morning of delivery Arthur called and told me that they could not repaint the front edge of the hood, that if they would be doing any repainting of the hood, that they would have to repaint the entire hoodArthur and I came to an agreement that if they would repaint the entire hood that I would purchase and sign for that vehicle later that eveningOriginally, I was supposed to come in at 4pm, which then Arthur had stated I could not come in till after pm because they had to have the hood repaintedThe evening I came in to purchase the vehicle, after beginning the process of all the paper work, Arthur disclosed that the warranty was priced at $3,I had addressed the issue that he had quoted the warranty at $2,previouslyI have witnesses that can atone to what Arthur actually statedUnfortunately, his reply to my discontent had been that, “You must have misunderstood me, I told you I’ve never sold one for less than $2,amount, but that an extended warranty for your vehicle would be $3,000.00”My witnesses and I did not misunderstand him; I had been taken advantage of as a first time car buyerBy the time I left the dealership, it had been close to 11pm, at which the sales representatives finally brought the vehicle to their ill lighted parking lotI had taken the vehicle home in good faith that they had honored our agreementsIt was not till a few weeks after did I notice they had taken advantage of me by failing to fulfill their end of the agreement.MrK***’s assertion that I returned to the dealership after purchasing the vehicle with new concerns is not only factually incorrect, but a failure of the dealership to honor the agreements their agents m*** with meIn regards to the weather stripping, MrK*** and his firm must be ill informed, they never repaired any of the weather stripping to the vehicleI have attached not only photos of the weather stripping that should have been replaced before delivery, but an estimate from another Ford dealership dated January *** of in regards to repairing/replacing the weather stripping that Ford of Sayville has failed to do soOne of the employees of Ford of Sayville, must have been playing around with the weather stripping on the RUN ASY, exterior trim, and m*** the weather stripping worse than when I brought it in for service.On another note, MrB***, the manager of preowned vehicles, and Arthur O*** acknowledged upon my visit that they sent the vehicle to Polished to Perfection, Incto have the vehicle’s entire hood touched up and clear coated, but yet again there’s seems to be confusion as they are telling you, the Revdex.com, that they were only repainting the front edge of the hoodB***’s exact words was that he was not here to build me a new vehicle yet, I had two other dealerships appraise the vehicleThe final determination had been that the vehicle had been sold beyond the actual market price of when I purchased it; and now I owe more than the vehicle is worthIf I knew that I would have to pay an approximate $1,out of pocket to fix the weather stripping and an additional amount for the paint chips throughout the hood, I never would have purchased the vehicle for the price they listedThe finance manager and the sales representative insisted throughout the buying experience that that was the lowest price they could sell the vehicle for.On a final note, MrK***, the Vice President, has forgotten to mention that their dealership sold me a warranty that did not exist through Ford Motor Company, IncI only discovered this through a phone call I placed with Ford Corporate, whom informed me that they did not sell a year or 120,000-mile warranty, whichever comes first, and that the warranty I purchased out of pocket had not been registered with Ford CorporateI left a message with Ford of Sayville to call me in regards to this mistake, yet no one ever returned my callI had to submit documentation to Ford Corporate’s Warranty Department in order to have Ford Corporate contact Ford of Sayville to rectify the situationThankfully, Ford of Sayville must have rectified it on their end as the warranty has been corrected and registered with Ford Corporate, but I should not have been put through the distraughtly situation of having my attempts to contact Ford of Sayville ignored, taking the time to provide documentation to Ford Corporate, as well as having to spend numerous hours on the phone with different Ford Corporate Departments to identify and rectify the situation.I will not be contacting any of the departments at Ford of Sayville, as when I previously tried to do so, they either passed me to another department or ignored my requests to remedy any of my concerns or honor the contracts their agents m*** on their behalfIf MrK***, or any other managerial officers want to resolve this complaint with me, they can contact me at their convenienceI am seeking that Ford of Sayville rectifies the way they’ve conducted business with me, which in part, includes repairing/replacing the weather stripping of the driver side and front passenger door, repainting the entire hood of the vehicle, and either to repair or replace the driver side pillar molding I have included documentation of the estimate to repair the weather stripping, a picture of the chips near the front of the hood, as well as the weather stripping on the vehicle in its current state.Best Regards,*** ***

Within the last few weeks, I have attempted to reach the service manager that the VP assigned to my case by email and telephoneThe Service Manager hasn't returned one phone call and hasn't responded to my last set of emailsI have copied the VP in on the email communications and nothing has happened.Thank you for all of your help.Best Regards,*** *** ***

Hello,When I reviewed the information concerning *** ** *** the issues were either address or not thereI have attached documents showing that the customer signed a buyers order stating that we would repair the front edge hoodThe hood repair was doneI have attached documents showing the
customer signed the bill of sale with the warranty price disclosed and the warranty coverageI have also attached a "We Owe" form showing "We Owed" bottle of touch up paintWe have every customer sign this form so later there is NO misunderstandingsI understand weeks later *** ** *** returned to the store with some concerns, the weather stripping was one of the concernsOur service department did a repair to the weather stripping on his visitIf the weather stripping repair did not resolve the concern *** ** *** is welcome to return to our service department to review failed repairWe do want our customers to be happy so please contact our service department for an appointment.Regards, *** *** **

both of the issues are still happening, and if I bring my car in ford tells me its my faultThe transmission slips because of my "driving habits" and apparently I don't know how to pump gas either8/** times I fill up the gas pours out. weeks ago I but in my car it stopped at I proceeded to pump one more click but instead of clicking off gas started spilling out from under my car when reached The car still shakes uncontrollably whenever I push on the gas. Less then hours after I got the car back from ford it was shaking again. I do not drive any different then the average personI no longer feel comfortable going to this dealer or dealing with these people because according to them I don't know how to do anything right and I am the reason their care does not perform the way it is supposed to I do not know what to do anymore and don't have the time or energy to bring my car back to ford every single week
