iTechshark Reviews (%countItem)

iTechshark is FANTASTIC! I went to the store in Oakville, MO. They were able to fix my iPhone screen in less than 1 hour. I am very happy to know they are here to help. They have excellent customer service, know their business and are super friendly too! I recommend them!

I had a screen replaced on an iphone 5s on Saturday. Monday it slipped 2 foot onto carpet and the screen cracked. I think it is a defective screen! or the screen did not fit correctly in the frame and it had stress meaning any bump would have caused it to crack. The employee/ owner *** said he could do nothing about it. He said the most he could do was 15% off a new screen. This is unacceptable for an inferior product. He said it was Apple factory screens. I now don't believe that.

Hi *** & Revdex.com staff,

This is Jon the owner of iTechshark. I am a local resident in Ballwin, MO and have investigated thoroughly in regards to this complaint. We stand behind our products 100%. The parts we use are 100% OEM. We are talking about a glass screen. Glass can easily be broken by being dropped from a 2Ft distance on carpet as described in your complaint. We do not warranty any type of mishandling or physical damage done after the repair was made. No one does, not even Apple. Glass is a very breakable material and when dropped glass will most likely break. After investigating and talking with our store manager Andrew about the situation we came to the conclusion that there is nothing we can do to warranty this part due to the admittance of dropping the glass 2ft. We will not get taken advantage of by a customer neglecting the review system to get a new product replacement for free and this is exactly what is happening. We have built a trusted business over the last 5 years and have thousands of positive reviews online. We would never do anything to jeopardy that but at the same time we will not be taken advantage of.

Thank you

I thought I was selling my laptop to them but turns out its a fake page and I've lost over $2,000.
I have the mail receipt I tried falling a claim through usps but they are not help. I am not expecting my money back but I do want the money back. I would like this company to be handle properly please stop them before anybody gets taken advantage of. they went to pick the stuff up on Thursday Mar 29th 2018 at the *** of ***. I can give you the tracking number if you would like to see who picked p the items. Please email me as soon as possible.

Customer was paid for the device in full on march 29th 2018 the same business day we received your device. Payment is currently pending due to Paypal's echeck. Please contact paypal for further details.

I used this company to sell my old Iphone. I sent in my Iphone 6s in perfect condition. I was told it arrived with the screen popping out. They offered me $130 rather than the $200 I originally was quoted. The phone was sent back to me before I even had a chance to respond to the new quote. When I received the phone back, the phone was clearly damaged and unable to even turn on. I am not even sure this is my original phone as I cannot turn it on to check the serial number. I am very skeptical on if this is my phone that I sent. I feel as if I have been scammed. This phone is now useless to me.

Hello,

My name is *** and I am the owner of ***.com & iTechshark. We would never intentionally try or scam anyone. I have took some time to talk with *** and *** at our office. Attached are pictures of your phone. If you have original receipt we can match IMEI numbers up so you are able to know for sure that it is your phone. This looks like it could have been caused by the battery swelling up which is a common issue. Because of this it pushed the screen outwards as seen in pictures. This is due from a bad battery and is covered by Apple warranty. There was re-call for this issue. We would recommend taking to Apple for the re-call notice and they can provide you with a replacement. Please let me know if you have any further questions. Thank you

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because: I had my phone checked at an Apple store on 2/13/18. They checked the battery and found it to be completely fine. The technician confirmed that the actual phone display was bent when it was removed. I have never removed this display before, so this had to have happened at the *** company. Also, ***,*** who originally addressed this issue, reported to me that this was an issue with the display. So clearly, the employees at this company are not communicating factual information.

Sincerely

Hello,

Yes this is caused by the battery swelling. Here is a video of the problem you are having:

***

*** noted of the same issue in your order. We have both came to the same conclusion.

I think you are confused because the screen is the actual part that is broken but again this is due to the battery swelling and pushing the screen outward.

I have check Apple for the record report on the date you took the phone to the Apple store. There was no record for that date.

But please don't worry. We will be happy to get the iPhone swapped out for a new iPhone 6S under the Apple re-call program for you so you do not have to deal with Apple directly.

Please send your device to:

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:

I have repair records from 3/13/18 stating that the battery is intact and functioning. It is not an issue of swelling. The technician stated the damage was caused to the display of the phone when it was pried open. I’m not sure how you can deny this fact. I know for a fact that Apple would not release these repair records to you as you do not even know the location that I had it fixed nor do you know the repair number, both of which you would need to access these records. I will not accept a “new iPhone 6s” as you have already scammed me once.

Sincerely
