Review: I purchased a $49 air duct, including dryer vent, cleaning from [redacted].com. I scheduled the appointment which just happened to be 3 months out. My appointment was scheduled for 10/07/2013 between 9am and 11am. No one called or came out to my home. I left a voicemail with the number provided for me on the printout of the purchase. No one returned my call. I called the same number and pressed the option to schedule an appointment and spoke with a live person who stated that she would have someone to call me within an hour. It has been 2 hours and they are not responding at all.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of my money for It's Duct Time not performing any service.

Review: I saw this listing in groupon from Its Duct Time offering a low price of $49.99 for cleaning up all the supply air vents, 1 return vent and 1 dryer vent. I called up Its Duct Time to schedule an appointment and when the technicians and sales person arrived did some inspection and claimed there was a mold in the furnace and in the vents and would spread in the system if not treated immediately. I was also told that just the groupon certificate wouldnt be entertained and I would be refunded and no treatment would be done if I decide not to go ahead with cleaning up the mold. I was duped into paying additional $375 more than the promised $49.99 advertised price. I was mislead to believe about the mold and later I realized being victim of a much larger scam called "bait and switch". I also understand that a positive determination of whether it is mold or not cannot be done visually and requires laboratory analysis for final confirmation (which was not done in this case).In all fairness technicians worked reasonably hard in cleaning up the air duct system including furnace. But I found myself cheated as I was made to believe into something which never existed. Also I was made to paid $375 in addition to $49 for additional treatment. As per my analysis the treatment and furnace cleaning job shouldnt have exceeded $250 as my original groupon coupon did cover for cleaning supply vent, 1 return vent and dryer vent.Beware of such companies baiting with low advertised prices only to rip you off later. I tried contacting Its Duct Time call center with a promise to get a call back later. I am still waiting to hear back from them on this issue.Desired Settlement: I should get refunded for the additional amount I was made to pay.

Review: No show on the appointment time! Not answering or replying back to the calls made. Hanging up the call if they pick up the call. I have an appointment with them for duct cleaning. I had been trying to call them up, left several messages, but no one is returning the call. And if they pick the call, they will hang up while I am talking. If they can't come for the schedule cleaning, they should at least have the decency to call up and reschedule. I took a day off from work and because of them I lost a whole day work and pay and the Ducts are still dirty. These kind of companies shouldn't be allow to do business.Desired Settlement: They should come and clean the ducts for free and they should be penalized for this kind of behavior.

Review: Bait and switch scammers.

The price quickly escalated to over $1000 dollars and told me that we could negotiate the price after I quickly told him no.

Overheard the two guys upstairs while the system was on downstairs talking about how much the "deep cleaning" for the dryer vent was going to be before they even looked at it.

They even caused damage to my home and left all the floors dirty (I have pictures if you would like to see) they knocked a glass jar into my garbage disposal. I turned it on not knowing it was in there and the disposal seized up (they came out and fixed that to where it works but I still do believe damage thats unseeable is still done) they also put a hole in my stairwell moving their equipment around. He told me that it looks like it was "already there" and he would have to contact his office. (have not heard back from him)

The "supervisor" that came out to view the damage was the "helper" on the day they came out and vacuumed only one vent.

Air-duct cleaning for unlimited supply vents with one return (a $189 value)

they only hooked the system up to one vent and turned it on for about 30 mins. they took it down after I denied the $1000+ cleaning 3 times and they quickly left.

Dryer-vent cleaning (a $60 value)

they used another smaller tool for the dryer and left all the dryer lint all over the floor.

Air-conditioner or furnace check-up (a $69 value)

This is NOT a check up all he did was look at my AC and say you need a deep duct cleaning and it will be so many amount of dollars.

He did not take anything apart just a simple visual look.

I have pictures of everything from the filth left behind to the damage to my houseDesired Settlement: Refund the $49 groupon, compensation for my damaged stairwell, and compensation for the garbage disposal.

The "supervisor" that came out told me he would take responsibility for the garbage disposal and I would be willing to testify to this.

Review: I purchased a air duct and dryer vent cleaning on [redacted] from this company and my neighbor and myself both made appts for them to come and provide this service. They were no shows for both appointments. I have tried to call them to find out what was going on they said that they would be calling their technican and then they wouldn't return calls. I have left several messages. When you call you hear young girls laughing in the background then get hung up on or you get an answer machine and leave a message with no return calls.Desired Settlement: I just want them to be informed that they are not a quality company or one that can be trusted.

Review: I purchases a [redacted] for this company on January 15th of this year. Since then I have made 3 appointments. The first 2 appointments were canelled the night before with them stating they did not have a technician in the area. The last appointment was for July 29, 2013. For this last appointment I was assured that someone would be at my home between the hours of 4 and 6 PM. At 6:15PM I called the 1-800 number to talk to someone about my appointment. I was put on hold for 15 mins before being transferred to an answering machine where I left a detailed message about my issue, additionally I call the number back and asked to make an appointment, this time I got through to a human and when I asked to speak to a manager was told the manager was on another line, I never received a phone call back and have requested a refund from [redacted]. The only refund offered is a refund to my [redacted] account. This business has no customer service and needs to be dealt with.Desired Settlement: The business to do what it says it will do and treat customers better than it currently does. Especially for someone like me whose home was hit by a tornado and could most likely need the duct system cleaned.

The package was advertised as "whole-home air duct cleaning" and specifically stated "Its Duct Time, armed with HEPA-filtered machinery, arrive to remove the whole mess from the entire ventilation system, improving air quality as well as the performance of HVAC systems." When the contracted technician showed up, he informed me that what I had actually bought was a coupon for $10 off per vent. To perform the actual service as advertised was going to cost me an additional $1187.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive the whole-home air duct cleaning that was advertised. I want the technicians to arrive and use their HEPA-filtered machinery to remove the whole mess from my entire ventilation system, without the added cost.

Review: The company It's Duct Time sells [redacted]'s across the country for home duct cleaning. Their main contact number is simply an answering service, and no one their knows anything. They simply dispatch an independent company within your area.

The [redacted] promised the following, but did not deliver. They charged my elderly father who was present for the appointment an additional $268 in cash!!! And they didn't even complete the work supposedly included in the [redacted].

$49 for an Air-Duct Cleaning and Dryer-Vent Cleaning Package ($349 Value)

•Air-duct cleaning for 12 vents, one main line, and one return

•Dryer-vent cleaning for up to 10 feet of dryer-vent line

The dryer vent wasn't even cleaned. They didn't cover a hole they cut to access the system. The entire work took less than an hour, where calling around to professionals who do this for a living, this should of taken 2 hours +. They did a horrible job. I can still see much debris in the system, and they didn't even do the extra sanitization I paid for. I have picture proof of all the problems.Desired Settlement: I demand a refund for their shoddy services. I can't trust them to come out and try to fix what they couldn't do properly in the first place. That is $268.00. I have a hand written receipt by the tech THEY dispatched - so it is THEIR responsibility.

Review: On March 28 2013 I purchased from [redacted] a coupon for duct work cleaning. The first appointment that It's Duct Time could schedule was May 2 2013 so I agreed. They called and canceled that appointment and rescheduled for May 14 2013, they then cancelled that appointment and it was rescheduled for May 17 2013. That appointment was cancelled and rescheduled for July 2 2013 between 1:00 pm and 3:00pm. On July 2 my husband called at 2:00 because we had not heard anything from the company and no one had arrived to complete the cleaning and he was assured that someone would be there before the 3:00 time. Nobody arrived so he called again at 3:30 and was told that the technician would contact him. Another appointment has been scheduled for July 9 but we do not think that it will happen.Desired Settlement: After having taken off 2 days of work I would like a refund of the $49.00 and the completed cleaning of all three registers and the duct work.

Review: After purchasing this product from [redacted] on July 17, 2013 I called to schedule an appointment and spoke to a woman who had no customer service skills and informed me that I would have to wait almost three months to schedule my service. When the day came I had taken time off of work I never received a call to cancel or reschedule and had never received a call confirming my appt. I started to get suspicious so I called and the woman had no idea what was going on or about my appt and sounded like she was screaming at her kids in the background. Meantime I started to do research on this company and found really scary complaints made from all over the country regarding their services so I don't even want to bother to reschedule because my story was sounding very similar to all others, including 32 complaints with the Revdex.com. Review: Purchased 3 [redacted] to have air duct cleaning performed. Technician canceled first appointment on the day of the appointment. Made it very difficult to reschedule and was rude. On the day of second scheduled appointment, the technician called mad that he could not find the address. Finally arrived and was rude and complained. After pretending to complete job, he grabbed groupons and left. He left the AC units running full blast, left all the vents closed and some not even attached. Left a return completely off with screws laying on the floor. Attempted to call and have not been able to get anyone. Review: Scheduled service three times and they have failed to provide service each time.

I called on 9/3 and scheduled the service which I had paid for through [redacted]. I wrote down that they would come on 10/10. No one came. On 10/14 I called to ask what happened and they stated the service was scheduled for 10/21, but could reschedule it for any time that week, just not the current day. We agreed on 10/16 between 10-12. No one came. I called to find out what happened, was on hold for 12 minutes before getting voice mail requesting me to leave a call back number and assuring me my call would be returned within 24 hours. No one ever called. I emailed the company with my complaint and received a call soon afterwards. She said the service for 10/16 was never verified because the service was scheduled too soon after the call, even though it was their customer service representative who had suggested we make the appointment that week. We made the new appointment for 10/21 for the hours of 9-11. She assured me the appointment was verified. No one showed up. I emailed the company and have had no response. So, three scheduled appointments and three times they have failed to show up.Desired Settlement: Full refund of the money spent, $49.

Review: I brought a [redacted] deal for their service in May. I called company to step up service appointment and was told the earliest would be June 13. I told them that wasn't a problem. On June 13 there was no call and no show on the appointment day! I called them and they stated they would have their manager call me back. No one did, so I called again. This time they stated they didn't know why the tech didn't show and could reschedule the following week. I told them that I travel for work and that wouldn't be executable because I have to request off a month in advance and the current appointment should have been fulfilled. So I asked for a refund.The company said that they would call be back. They never did. Now they are not answering or replying back to the calls made. I took a day off from work and because of them I lost a whole day work and pay and the Ducts are still dirty. Review: I had this company come to clean my air vents and dryer vent. During the process of cleaning the dryer vent, the vendor sheered off the buttons on the front of my wash machine. The wash machine is now unusable. The man doing the service acknowledged that he broke the washer and indicated he would cover the cost of replacement.

When I contacted the company, they took over one week to get back to me and they are offering only $200. That is what I paid for the service!!Desired Settlement: I need a washing machine that works. I have been without one for two weeks.

Review: It's Duct Time has missed 5 appointments and broken its promises. I have received no benefit for the Living Social Voucher I purchased on 8/3/2013.

Its Duct Time has missed its appointments. It has made numerous excuses and promises to make things right. It has not come through on any of them. I am tired of the lies and would like the amount paid for my Living Social voucher returned. This company has run out the clock and I may not have recourse through Living Social at this time.

Review: Purchased a coupong through [redacted] for duct cleaning, set up a schedule, was told could not get in for a whole month, this was in early July. September came around, was given time slot 9-11 am 1145 came around, no call no nothing. Of course tried to call back and got voicemail and not a live person, and this was based out of California who sub contracts to other companies(so it's not really duct time, it could be someone else) left a voicemail and was told will receive a call back within 24 hours...no call the next day. Decided to call again and finally got a live person and was told technician called in ( not once was I courteously given a call to advice for this after I had taken the day off). I was rescheduled, given the same time slot for the next week...go figure same situation happen, no one calls, no one advices me of anything, after I of course, had taken the day off again. I called the company and of course they don't know what's going on, "the best I can do, is reschedule you" I told her of what had happened and the lady apologized and rescheduled me for the next week.... Next week comes again, the day before I receive a voice mail to remind me of my appointment the next day(first time this has happened) the next day I had the same time slot 9-11am of course noon rolls around and no show, called the company once more and was told I was never scheduled, I proceeded to tell them that I had a voice mail with a reminder and the lady coldly noted "I'm not here to argue with you and I can reschedule you" was told to reschedule for sept 16th 2013 and guess what? no show again, called the center again and was told they would call the technician and expect a call within 30 mins, an hour and half later I called again and was rescheduled for today. I figured by now I should stop, but I really need my ducts cleaned, keep in mind I have taken off all these days that they "rescheduled" me. Today is sept16th and no call as of now and it is about to be almost 1115 am, I have just spoken with the lady and of course she says they're calling the technician right now. Super unprofessional and shady business, I highly highly encourage all to avoid this and will pass the word along.Desired Settlement: I would like my ducts cleaned by someone I choose and know is going to come do the actual job instead of being rescheduled multiple times, company should pay for this, and provide service that I originally paid for, as well as give my money back. I have taken a total of four days off that I can't get back that I could have used for something else.

Review: Apparently it is standard practice for this business to make appointments it doesn't keep. I should of looked into them better but thought groupon would have since I haven't had a problem with any other groupons purchased.

I made an appointment 3 different times and no one has ever shown up and now they just won't even answer the phone so I would like my ducts cleaned which doesn't look like that will happen.Desired Settlement: Company to not be allowed to keep taking people's money without consequences.

Review: We recently purchased a promotion for a "whole house" duct cleaning from It's Duct Time, through the [redacted] website. Because of a prior "bait and switch" with another duct cleaning company, in which we were told it would be an extra fee to clean our second air return, we called It's Duct Time prior to purchasing the promotion. There was no exclusion or "fine print" concerning additional air returns, so we confirmed with the company that the promotion was for the cleaning of all air ducts in the house. Based on that representation, we purchased the promotion and scheduled an appointment. On the day of the appointment, the company called to cancel and we were required to reschedule, despite the 24 hour cancellation policy customers are required to follow. On the rescheduled appointment, when the technician arrived, he stated it would be an extra $25 to clean the second air return. We declined at that time and notified the company. The representative said there was a fee, but could not show where that fee was stated in any written materials we had received. Ultimately, the representative relented and scheduled an appointment for someone to come finish the job, for free. No technician came for the rescheduled appointment, nor were we contacted by the company to change the appointment and reschedule. We were simply ignored.
