I am a licensed home builder. This the best roofing company in the Decatur area. They started my house at 6am, and were all cleaned up and gone by 2 o'clock. They started my house within three days and were on time. Don't waste your time with others. They do the best job and cost less

Thank you for the kind words!

Sam Fleming

2015 Fleming put a metal roof on my house. It immediately began leaking. He did come and fix that. Now it is leaking again in the exact same spot.
He will not return my calls. I have left messages. He promised at the time if the roof leaked they will fix it. It is under a 50 year warranty. The roof is three years old. The roof was installed 2015.

Desired Outcome

I want the roof to stop leaking forever and the ceiling where the leak is happening repaired also.

Talked to customer several times & told her that her compliant would be taken care of. This past week has not been suited to repair her roof-with rain, cold, ice on the roof I can not ask anyone to risk injury to repair her roof. Her roof problem will be taken care of.

Customer Response • Dec 04, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.)
He did try to use many excuses as to why he shouldn't do the repair however after threatening legal action he agreed to fix it. I'll let you know if he follows through on the repair. When I first started calling him the weather was great, so if he had responded when he should have weather would not have been a problem.

Just a note: some of his excuses defied the laws of physics.

Mr. feels 99% certain your leak is from the skylight. He spoke with the chimney sweep you had out to inspect the chimney and was told he did not inspect the roof, he looked around but didn't really inspect.

Mr. offers to install a new skylight you furnish for $600.00. If that doesn't take care of the leaks he will continue to his search of the source of the leak.

I am 100% sure it's the roof and not the sky light as the leak is no where near the skylight. I will get it fixed myself and bash Flemming through social media, yelp and anyplace people look for references.
Thank you

Fantastic people. A pleasure to work with. Always a fast response, superb communication and an outstanding quality of work.

I hired this contractor to restore my kitchen, dining room and living room from water damage. Contractor caused permanent damage to my home instead.
Date of contractor repair work was 8-20-18. Contractor ripped out floor of dinning room improperly, with a skill saw straight through sub-floor into floor joists. Also drilled out the screws that held the underlayment which caused structural damage as well. All this work was done unsupervised bye two male Hispanic workers and a Hispanic female. The woman was the only one who understood or spoke English. When I contacted *** the owner about this via email. He immediately thanked me for my service to my country and said id need to find a new contractor, and no charge for the work he already did. I told him this was not how you treat people and he needed to address the issues. Both in email and on phone. On the Phone he told me I was full of my self and hung up on me. He will not answer his work line anymore and his voicemail is full. I have never been treated so poorly in my life. I am a Full Combat Disabled Veteran.

Desired Outcome

For them to pay for the damage to be fixed bye my new contractor.

Our contract included to remodel an eat-in kitchen and dining room for Mr. covered by insurance for water damage. I met with Mr. three times prior to beginning work to discuss the scope of work and progress schedule. I worked with his insurance adjuster to arrive at the cost for the work to be completed. I met with Mr. and my three contractors which performed the work in question on Thursday before beginning work on a Tuesday. We discussed the work to be performed which consisted of removing kitchen cabinets, particle board subflooring, tile, and cement underlayment.

We began work on Tuesday, I met with Mr. and my drywall/framing chief Tuesday morning to discuss the work involved and proceed. I left once all was discussed. All members of the crew speak English. After I left I received a call from my drywall man who said Mr. had become very upset regarding the placement of the cabinets in the garage and that he was very defamatory and volatile. The situation was very minor and the cabinets could have been moved for Mr. with ease, who had originally requested for placement in the basement during both meetings.

Due to Mr. volatility and treatment of my employees I decided to remove myself from the job since this was the first day and we had only performed demo of the already partially demo'd cabinets and flooring. I explained to Mr. that there would be no charge for any of the work performed and I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but I would not work for someone who feels they are entitled to berate my employees who have performed quality work.

Mr. called several days after this conversation to state that I had damaged the plywood sub-flooring during it's removal. I explained that this was not the case. Some minor damage is expected for the removal of the particle board and cement board installed on top of the floor. However, insurance had allowed for new particle board and cement underlayment to be installed over the existing sub-flooring.

I do appreciate Mr. service to our country. However, I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone and I will not allow people to denigrate, defame, or verbally insult myself or my employees. All work performed at Mr. home was done with the highest quality and professionalism.

No money was ever collected from Mr. which included 3 trips to his home, several hours of estimation, collaboration with his adjuster, and $1,000 materials and labor. Mr. was told that we would not be charged for any work as we desired to remove ourselves from the remainder of the job.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
His narrative his false, and does not reflect what has actually happened. I have decided though, after meeting and having the house inspected bye a new contractor, that I will not be filing a formal suite. The damage that was caused is limited to the sub-floor and up to an inch of penetration to the cross beams. The drywall work that was done, will have to be redone. the contractor agreed and stated he had never seen work done like this and he would never have allowed it. Additionally. The two Hispanic men that did the work, did not speak English at all. And refused to acknowledge, normal conversation. The young girl who was there, did speak English, but did not do anything but clean up. And serve as a communicator. I did get verbally angry when I found out that the cabinets weren't moved to the agreed upon location. And instead of communicating this with me, they decided to just leave. On top of which the work done, was fast, dirty, and messy.

All I am hoping for now is a public record showing there contracting practices, therefore future homeowners will be informed and protected.

This guys repeated attempts to discredit me, and use my service to my country, is extremely disrespectful. I have no reason to lie, the proof is in the work they did, which has been left untouched. All he had to do was come out and look at the work, address this issues and resolve them. I don't now, nor do I ever like confrontation or drama. But I will stand up for my self and others. No I am not a home builder, or master craftsman, but I do know what I see with my own eyes. And I am a business owner. This is not how you do business.

We attempted to reach a peaceful resolution with Mr. from the start by not charging him for any of the work completed and taking a substantial financial loss on the project.

We do not wish to engage in a back and forth with Mr.. We agree with Mr. that this could have been avoided all together by communicating more clearly. This is in fact why we left the job altogether, since the way Mr. communicated with myself and my employees was not done in a manner which we desired to work.

Mr. has threatened suit even though he was not charged, and has now admitted that there is no deficiency in the work performed. The job site was left cleaner than found and the work performed was completed professionally. I have included photos of the work to show the condition of the property which we left.

It is clear Mr. intends only to defame us in a public setting and not resolve any pending issues, which there are none.

We continue to thank Mr. for his service to our country, but we do not wish to continue any dialogue regarding this issue.

Falsified Documents
Mr. , was hired to do partial drywall and ceiling painting only .Upon speaking to *** on Thursday January19th. *** advised me that he would meet the Appraiser cost or less . On January 21st however his guy text to asked if he could come monday due to the rain .I advised him yes that would be ok . So Monday he came by to complete the drywall and start on the ceiling in which I provided the paint . Which I also have receipts for as well .*** called me to advise that he was going to have Phil to install my sink so I can have a sink to use he never advised that he would charge me but somehow he's trying to charge me for that as well as for the Botched paint job and Botched drywall in which I have pictures of the bad job . *** sent Phil to my Home at Least 3 times to be exact to get the job right but each time he failed . I then asked *** , so being that this is an Inconvenience to me and taking up so much of my time what happens if he can't get it right . *** Specifically advised me that he would not charge me . *** was going to have someone else to do the job later so I invited him over just so he wouldn't think I was trying to get over . His guy stated that he could fix the problem with the bad paint job as well as bad drywall also . I also advised *** that he would need to take the Insulation that *** left at my home stored in my garage . In which I could easily stated that he owes me for storage fee but I'm not trying to get over on anyone .a week went by after we agreed to let the 2nd guy repair the damages I spoke to *** and he attempt to charge me $2100 for the work . I told *** that I will no longer be needing or wanting his service that I would pay him for the drywall being put up as well as cost of his materials. I reached out to the person that referred *** and he came to take a look at the job . He told me that *** advised him which his name is Walter that he was not going to charge for the paint job . I then asked *** what would something like this cost for the drywall he advised me $350-$500 .I made an attempt to reach out to *** but no answer so I sent a check for $500.00 about 2 weeks later I get a bill for false work that was not complete stating that I owe him $975 for work that he did not do . which leads to filing this complaint at this time . I also have to pay someone to fix the drywall as well as paint my ceiling . I do not want to take this to court as he stated he would , however I will make a counter claim for the damages that was cause to my ceiling that I have to pay someone to fix .

Desired Outcome

I wish that he no longer contact me as well as leave me alone and Never contact me again .

Customer Response

This portion is retaining to his estimate and what was actually done . As well as what was not agreed upon . First we never discussed his putting my sink back he volunteered and told him to do it without discussion. After I spoke with *** he advised me that he had him to put the sink back so I can have use of my sink . Why would I have him to put the sink back and then Pay someone else again for the same thing when the repair the Cabinets doesn't
make sense . By the way the sink was linking water which caused more damage to the kitchen floor .
His worker Phil also caused damage to my hardwoods floor trimming causing me to have to pay for replacing it ! In
which I have pictures .
All the work that *** complete will be highlighted on the sheet label as Wimberly Claim service .

Mr. sent a rebuttal. He doesn't think Revdex.com can assist y'all with this matter. He feels court is the best avenue. See attached letter.
