Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I spoke with the gentleman that filed my taxes, he admitted to me that he was in the wrong, he never once went over any paperwork with me he simply said sign here and here that was it, he also said he should've not told me there was a chance of denial because like he said he never told me and the email I received never told meI called the office back to ask for his name he wouldn't give it to me and said he talked to his supervisor gave her my name and number and asked her too make it right, those were his exact wordsThis is how you make it right? It should be there in plain lettering not hiddenAlso like I said gen never had me read anythingWhen he was "done" he didn't ask me a single question while entering info I had to ask him about putting my daycare exspenses, medical expenses about my rent and moving, I know if I file for free with turbotax I'll get more and then hats what I would've done had he been honest and up frontal Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: I have contacted their customer service center over times, but they refuse to give the number to someone who can help meAlthough some of them attempted to help with no results, many hung up on meI have spoke to my local store manager Jan on several occasions, I have actually seen her contact this district manager in Binghamton that was referenced to in their response and he has never contacted me or had Jan contact me to resolve the problemThis isn't something that just happened I have been complaining and trying to get my money for weeksI have taking all the proper steps before I contacted Revdex.comIf even one person from the Jackson Hewitt company would've contacted me back like I was told several times they would over the last weeks, this may have been avoidedAll I wanted was an explanation to why this was happening to me and how they were going to fix itInstead I was ignored by all parties including my local storeIt would've been nice to know that someone was trying to fix this and still today I have had no contact with any person from jackson hewitt apologizing or telling me that they are going to get my money back Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Hello my name is [redacted] [redacted] I previously spoke about reopening the case with Jackson Hewitt as I never received my refundI sent an email to you prior but im not sure that you received itIn this time I have received notice from the state as well as irs that not only backs up my claims but also proved it was a careless error on the part of the tax preparer and as well as a signed tax return that lists the manager at the location; coincidentally the one who addresses this complaintThe tax return lists the manager as the contact point with irs and state if the return was inccorect as I paid for them to rectify any mistakes directlyThey not only did not respond or assist with federal or state, they denied any wrong doingThe returns are not correct and I am just now done decoding the state return to find the errorIt was entered with incorrect figures and no corresponding forms of proof attached Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I called the number Emily left on the same day at 3:p.m., but the phone rang continuously with no pick and eventually disconnected after multiple rings Contact was made with me by a Regional JH representative on Friday late afternoon / early evening At the time, I informed him of the meeting that the IRS had scheduled with me on Monday morning (yesterday) The Regional repwas very polite and committed to help with identifying someone to meet me at the first meeting with the IRS agent, but made no promises due to the late hour Fortunately a JH representative did join me in the first sit-down meeting with the IRS Unfortunately, I received a call about minutes or so ago from the IRS saying that the JH representative was not current in his credentials and could no longer represent me or speak on my behalf So, yes, JH has reached out to me successfully and made, but has not yet fully met their obligation under the Gold Guarantee for which I paid I have left a message on the Regional rep's cell phone informing him of what IRS told me about the assigned JH rep being expired on his credentials and the need for a new representative I am awaiting follow up from that recently-left message Regards, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: The charge of for "Assisted Refund fee" I had not requested and the absorbent charge for filing a short form plus charge for data storageI did receive the Walmart gift cardI did email Senior Manager - field operations [redacted] to state my Dissatisfaction with his response
