JACO at this time is in a receivership and has shut down all business The incentives as well as the returned incentives will be reissued to the customer as soon as possible At this time there isn't a timeline that we can provide to customers as to when they will be receiving the new incentive

The company went into a receivership on the 18th of November Due to the legalities of the receiver ship we had to cancel collections on November 21st and 23rd JACO Environmental, for years a national provider of appliance recycling services Regrettably, as of November 23, 2015, JACO ceased ongoing operationsWe are not able to schedule any appliance pick-ups, or complete pick-ups previously scheduledIf you are a customer participating in an energy efficiency appliance recycling program, some programs may be suspended, while others may not continuePlease remain in touch with your utility or other program sponsor for updates, and thank you for your patience.”

We were sending out the rebates to the customers up until the point of JACO shutting down all business operations JACO is in a receivership and Will along with all other employees have been laid off which is why he hasn't called back We have shut down our entire business and we no longer employ our crews or our trucks The warehouses have been closed down The refrigerator that was turned in is no longer available it was completely destroyed per the contract with the utility The receiver for the company has shut down all business transactions until the court says otherwise Customers who are waiting for their incentives will get the incentive it will just take some time

I have looked up the order in our database and here is what I have. Customer called in on 7/1/made an appointment for pickup on 7/21/15. Customer that scheduled the appointment is *** ***.
The check was processed on 8/14/and sent to the payee name on the order which is
*** *** at the address of *** *** *** Hills MI
The Check was cashed on 9/21/by *** ***. I have included a copy of the cashed check with this response

With the popularity of the program and some mechanical issues with our check writing machines it has put us behind with the incentive checks. I will check with the checking department and find out where in the process the incentive check is. If it hasn't been sent out by now I will make
sure it is in the mail and the customer will have it in seven to ten days

According to our records we sent the check and the customer has cashed it before the complaint was made. I really am not sure what else I can do to clear this up

Complaint: [redacted]I am rejecting this response because:  This answer was already offered and not acceptable. My pick up arrangement was made with them on Nov. 18th; they day THEY solicited the business by email! I find it hard to believe they had no idea they were going to cease operations a few days later. I arranged my schedule to be available for the entire day on Nov. 23rd. I cleared a path for removal and prepared and ran the appliance as requested. If I had received a telephone call prior to the appointment date canceling the appointment I would have considered that to be good customer service and I would have understood. Something obviously went wrong and a dismissive answer is irksome to say the least. A legitimate explanation and some sort of reimbursement for my wasted time and for this deception is a reasonable expectation.  Sincerely,**. [redacted]

I have checked with my checking department and the replacement check is going out in today's mail.  I would expect that the customer Ms. [redacted] will receive it either Saturday or Monday at the latest.  The check is coming from Washington State.
