Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Jake Sweeney has now in fact decided to honor the contract but only after they processed hard credit inquiries of which with GM financial alone then I was forced to hire an attorney before they finally settledI have a recording of Mr [redacted] the sales associate at Jake Sweeney threating to repo my truck and ruin my creditI had agreed to return the truck if they would have returned my tradein which they refused as they had already sold itWhen I asked for the trade in value they again refused stating that do to the contract I would have to pay for the use of the truckEven though they claimed that the contract was voided when they couldn't get me financedI believe that because I did not just bend to their will as I am sure they do to many other customersThat they followed through with their threat of destroying my credit as the following two weeks after I spoke with Mr [redacted] , Jake Sweeney ran so many hard inquires that my credit score dropped a staggering pointsI have spoken with a number of managers at Jake sweeney following my financial approval and even then they lured me in to the dealership times and repeatedly kept trying to extort me for more money in exchange for my tags to the truckI do have records of all my alligations to support everything in this email I would like to see Jake Sweeney compensate me for attorney fees as well as my time I had to take away from my job and kidsI have attached a copy of the lease and my attorenys invoice [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

We took our 2014 Traverse in for some warranty work. The car was in the shop for 11 days and the warranty company was only authorizing 4 days for the work to be completed. On the 11th day I received a call from the service department stating my car fell off a lift. I went to look at it and took some pictures to show my husband. We ended up purchasing a vehicle from another dealership because Jake Sweeney's general manager told me they would give us an additional $1000.00 rebate and a discount on the warranty. He told me to take it or leave it. If we totaled it on the street we wouldn't even get that. We didn't total it, they did. The car was in great shape and just needed a couple things done which was warranty work. I have the loss of the vehicle due to Jake Sweeney and then they will only sell me a car if they are profiting from it. I was the only one taking the loss and I wasn't involved in the incident. This did not seem like a fair offer or a good way of doing business.

In response to the complaint by Mr*** ***, we offer the following:
The customer brought the vehicle is for repair on September 26th. Per the first bulletin, we performed open recall # *** for the replacement of the drivers window/lock switch
Per the second bulletin # *** fuel
level sensor contact wear....this bulletin states that this contact wear may cause the fuel level sensor to read empty after filling the tank and cause the malfunction indicator light to illuminate. Eventually, the fuel gauge may stop working and the light will illuminate continuously. The repairs for this concern are only to be done if the customers vehicle exhibits these concerns
When the vehicle was brought in, the fuel gauge was reading and no lights were illuminated. We ran a few tests and all systems were operating as designed Therefore, no repairs were done at that time. We are only to repair/replace parts that a failure can be verified.
One week later, the customer brought the vehicle back in after filling the fuel tank. The gauge was not operating at that time. We were then able to verify the concern and repair per the bulletin
We apologize to Mr*** for having to make two trips, but hopefully he appreciates the fact that we do not do repairs on components that a failure cannot be verified, whether it be a customer pay repair or a factory warranty repair

We worked with Ms*** *** on the appraisal for her vehicle After assessing her vehicle we found discrepancies in the report These discrepancies led to a difference in the amount of money she was offered on her vehicle Additional work was needed on our end to attempt to
accomplish the wishes of the customer which in turn created an additional amount of wait time for Ms*** Our Internet Manager *** *** spoke with Ms*** and worked with her on this situation She indicated that she was upset about the time it took to get her an offer, however the other aspects of her experience were commensurate with her expectation

I talked to Ms. *** about her concern of tires. The tires were inspected and passed our inspection. She informed me the tire pressure light was coming on and I would look at for her at no charge

*** *** I feel that if the tires were bad enough for the salesperson to say I think I can get you tires, then the tires were bad enough to be replaced I also have a problem with calling a dealership for over weeks and not getting a response back If they are that lax in their customer service, How can I depend on my Maintainance plan Will I call and call and not get any response on it either? When I finally got to talk to my salesperson after weeks of calling, I was screamed at by the salesperson, *** ***, when she answered the phone I was told that I was making up stories and lying and I didn't appreicate that I was a valued customer until the papers were signed

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]If Jake Sweeney go above and beyond on behalf of the customer. Those warranties that was offered me on 4/30/2016, would have been offered as three separate warranties not two. What was offered:          extended warranty  $3292.00,            sweeney shield       $2194.00The actual offered:1 extended warranty     $3292.00, 2. tire coverage            $1295.00  3. sweeney shield           $899.00 Why wouldn’t Jake Sweeney Chevrolet offered these warranties as three separate warranties?1.Because nobody in the right mine would say ‘I will take the paint coverage for $900.00.’Especially, if it, supposedly already on there.2.You can't return it as two set.3. don't even cover rock damage.4. I had the same thing done to an different car. they at least had the decency to take the car away.5. it was a piece of Shield alright. from your mine eye.If Jake Sweeney go above and beyond on behalf of the customer.why did the ‘$3292.00 extended warranty,’ only net me 29,131 miles for 5 years! (12,000 mile was under certified preowned vehicle)why? Why? I still have the paperwork. Jake Sweeney, Certainly was going above and beyond on behalf something, not me. If Jake Sweeney go above and beyond on behalf of the customer. Why did Jake Sweeney Not send me back $5550.00 on 6/8/2016. But Conveniently left out $363.09.Was $363.09 not my money also, did it not belongs to me. did I really have ask for my own money back, again! What if, I hadn't ask? Base on past experience from 4/30/16 and on, I expected this to happened. Can I really say with a straight face, that Jake Sweeney was looking out for me, the customer, in this regard? Now let's talk about, money lost (At this time Jake Sweeney has already lost a net total of 63.09 in canceling the products that Mr [redacted] accepted at the time of delivery.)I bought a $20,000 Car! You tired a stick me with $5872.00 in what I perceive as worthless warranties, at the time of purchase. (29,131 miles for 5 years!) don't get it mixed up. I have the paperwork, don't forget that.Because this car is a certified preowned vehicle, I have a two year free Oil Change at Jake Sweeney Chevrolet, and also I have 1 year 12,000 warranty coverage at Jake Sweeney ChevroletBased on my experience at Jake Sweeney Chevrolet. I wouldn’t bring this car back here to get wash, let alone for something necessary. I won't get the time or money back that I had invested in this headache. Over a month and  countingI talk to other establishment concerning this process. Didn't take no time to get the money from the bank. $363.09 is not returned as of yet.

Revdex.com, We have received the complaint that was submitted to you from [redacted].  We have looked into her complaint and our formal response is that we are continuing to stand by our original offer of fixing her issue with the "flickering" lights. Attached is the...

documentation where we acknowledged the "flickering" at the time of purchase and would diagnose the vehicle.   Also attached is the service records from her visit to our dealership concerning the issue.  We were unable to duplicate the issue that the customer complained of at that time, however we did fix another issue that was recognized.  We recommend that the customer set aside another time to have our service department work to resolve the issue. [redacted]Director of Internet SalesJake Sweeney Chevrolet

In order for us to look into your concerns, please provide information regarding the vehicle in question.

Jake Sweeney has now in fact decided to honor the contract but only after they processed 12 hard credit inquiries 5 of which with GM financial alone then I was forced to hire an attorney before they finally settled. I have a recording of Mr. [redacted] the sales associate at Jake Sweeney threating to repo my truck and ruin my credit. I had agreed to return the truck if they would have returned my tradein which they refused as they had already sold it. When I asked for the trade in value they again refused stating that do to the contract I would have to pay for the use of the truck. Even though they claimed that the contract was voided when they couldn't get me financed. I believe that because I did not just bend to their will as I am sure they do to many other customers. That they followed through with their threat of destroying my credit as the following two weeks after I spoke with Mr [redacted], Jake Sweeney ran so many hard inquires that my credit score dropped a staggering 26 points. I have spoken with a number of managers at Jake sweeney following my financial approval and even then they lured me in to the dealership 3 times and repeatedly kept trying to extort me for more money in exchange for my tags to the truck. I do have records of all my alligations to support everything in this email.
I would like to see Jake Sweeney compensate me for attorney fees as well as my time I had to take away from my job and kids. I have attached a copy of the lease and my attorenys invoice.

Mr. [redacted] bought the vehicle in August. On the day of delivery our service department was asked to look at the vehicle. A technician did drive the vehicle with no issues at all. There were no leaks noted at the time of delivery or during the used car inspection a month earlier. There were no...

repairs performed and there was no fluid added to the clutch system contrary to what Mr. [redacted] stated. The vehicle was driven over 9,000 miles without incident after delivery. At no time did the customer complain of a sloppy pedal or sticking clutch, fluid on the ground or any other issue with the vehicle. After the accident Mr. [redacted] did contact and have discussions by email with our Fixed Ops Director Derek D[redacted] about the clutch. Mr. D[redacted] refused to pay for the master cylinder based on the amount of miles (over 9000) the car had been driven without incident. Mr. [redacted] was asking for JSA to pay for the repairs to the clutch cylinder for $500.00. By our estimating software the repair should have been in the range of $250-$300. Mr. D[redacted] offered to perform the repairs for $250 if the vehicle was brought here as he felt the customer was being overcharged for the repair. It is clear in the email exchange that if the repairs were performed elsewhere that JSA would not participate. Mr. [redacted] chose to allow the body shop the car was at to perform the repair for $498.00. We do not feel we have done anything wrong in this situation and did make an offer to save the customer some money by making the repair at a lower price. The customer chose a different route on his own after our offer had been clearly stated.

Mr [redacted] is correct on many points within his statement and though I believe him that the other dealer stated that we do this all of the time, it is in fact not true. The handling of Mr [redacted]'s paperwork and process is being addressed internally. As to the $350.00 deposit Mr [redacted] placed on the...

vehicle it will not be returned. Mr [redacted] traded in a vehicle with negative equity consisting of $3,716.08 stated on two separate documents which were signed by him and Jake Sweeney Automotive paid off said vehicle. Mr [redacted] was able to take advantage of driving a new 2014 Mazda for a full 4 months as he stated without making any payments. The value of this vehicle to Mr [redacted] would be $475.71 per month at 75 months in accordance to the paperwork he signed. Since Jake Sweeney Automotive has incurred the depreciation of the 2014 Mazda(unknown value at this time) and has incurred the loss of $3,716.08 of negative equity, we will not return Mr [redacted]'s deposit of $350.00.  If Mr [redacted] would prefer to take legal action then we will seek to collect all the losses that the dealership has incurred from Mr [redacted].

[redacted]                                   ... purchased this vehicle in 2012 with [redacted] miles and has made 15 service visits for minor maintenance and repair work along with some GM warranty repairs to present date. Miss. [redacted] always calls to schedule her appointments and if she’s unable to make that appointment she would call to reschedule.Such was this last service visit, after several rescheduling she finally was able keep an appointment to have the oil changed. On arrival she asked to have the tires rotated and that there was a concern with the headlamps flickering at times. The service advisor [redacted] quoted a diagnosis fee to check the lamp concern, Miss [redacted] declined, only authorizing the additional tire rotation fee of $[redacted] plus taxes. Miss [redacted] took a shuttle ride to her destination while we performed the services to her vehicle.During the process of rotating and checking the condition of tires the technician notice the left rear tire was low and found that it was punctured by a nail. The tires had gotten low enough that it had damaged the side wall of the tire which resulted in an unrepairable tire. [redacted] called and left a message on Miss [redacted]’s cell phone stating the vehicle is finished, the tires were rotated and that there is a nail in the left rear tire that needs to be replaced and was rotated to the left front.Shortly after the message was left Miss [redacted] came in to pick up her vehicle, paid her bill and reviewed the contents of the invoice. Once she read about the condition of tires she questioned why she was not informed, [redacted] stated he left her a message about the tires. This was not acceptable to Miss [redacted] and she request to speak to [redacted] or [redacted] Sr. Mr. [redacted] was available and listen to her concern and apologized for our misunderstanding of her expectation of what she felt Jake Sweeney Chevrolet service should have done differently concerning her tires.[redacted] Adam gave pricing to replace just one tire and recommend the replacement of the other three tires. This was unacceptable to Miss [redacted]. At this point Miss [redacted] was very upset to the degree she could barely speak, finally stating she would take her vehicle elsewhere to have the tires replaced. Mr. [redacted] advised Miss [redacted] to let service rotate the tires back to their original position and Miss [redacted] stated she did not trust our service technicians to work on her vehicle anymore. Once again Mr. [redacted] expressed to Miss [redacted] not to drive any far distance on the bad tire and she replied I will take care of it myself.Mr. [redacted] stated if you change your mind Jake Sweeney Chevrolet service will apply the charges for the rotation toward the purchase of a tire or tires. This was on April 06 2015, Mr. [redacted] received a call from Miss [redacted] requesting to come in on April 08 2015, she called back to reschedule for April 11 2015, she call back on April 09 2015 to reschedule for April 13 2015 and requested to meet with [redacted] and [redacted] Sr. Miss [redacted] was a no-show for April 13 2015 09:00 am appointment and by 10:00 am Jake Sweeney Chevrolet received a letter from the Revdex.com.Jake Sweeney Chevrolet values every client customer that patronizes our business that allows us to help them maintain their vehicles. Miss [redacted] was offered this service on April 06 2015 at the time she was present at our service center and declined our service even after being advised of the danger of driving on a damage tire. Jake Sweeney Chevrolet service fulfilled our obligation of advising our customers of unsafe conditions on their vehicles. In the case of Miss [redacted]’s tire concern we will stand by our offer to apply the rotation charges towards the purchase of new tires or refund her $[redacted] includes taxes.  [redacted] Sr.Customer experience managerJake Sweeney Chevrolet  [redacted]
