Stay Away from this car dealer!!!!!!
I brought my 2014 Mitsubishi outlander for an inspection. I left the car there overnight and got a call about 8:35 AM next morning they open at 8 A.m. they told me my car would not pass inspection for the following reasons , both license plate bulbs are out $32 apiece plus tax, Front pads and rotors $310 apiece plus tax rear pads and rotors $310 plus tax out tire rod $126 plus tax alignment $89.95 plus tax, Transmission service due $250 plus tax. This car had a brand new complete transmission put on it under warranty it has 56,800 Miles on it and when I bought it it had 15,000 miles on it in 2016. I went back to the dealership and told them I was taking the car the girl at the service desk was very rude and told me to have a very nice day with a sarcastic smile on her face. I got in the car started it up backed up went Forward about 10 feet and every single light came on on my dash not one of these lights we’re on when I took the vehicle to the dealership. I want back in got the service manager took him outside and showed him the lights. The service manager said to me I can put that on the computer and find out what’s wrong but there will be a charge of $110 I said to him you can’t be serious brought the car here with no lights on picked it up what 10 feet with it and all the lights came on and now you want to charge me $110 to put it on a computer. I then discovered that the paperwork that I left on the front seat add to request of the girl at the service desk was missing then went back in again and I asked her where my paperwork was she said to me I don’t know where your paperwork is, And then told her I needed the paperwork she said well I’ll let the manager know I said I’d like to see him now she said he’s not here right now. I paid $750 for free inspections free oil changes in any small dents on the car would be fixed. Also part of the $750 contract included that when I brought the car in I didn’t need an appointment just drive the car up to the service door pull it inside and I could wait until the work was done. When I went there for the inspection the girl asked me if I had an appointment I told her no I had to $750 free oil change and inspection and didn’t need any appointments, she said back to me well we change that and you have to have an appointment now I said back to her that’s not what my contract States She got mad and just walked away. I then talk to a manager inside the showroom on the phone and he told me about the same thing. They refused to look into all the lights that are on my dash that wasn’t on when I took the car to the dealership but would be more than happy to charge me $110 to put it on the computer. $1239.95 total that they wanted to fix my car. All the lights are still blinking on my dash when they reinspected my car and it passed but they refused to fix the lights on the dash unless I gave them $110 dollars to hook up their computer to it. Like I said not one single light was on the dash when I took it there picked it up drove it 10 feet and every single light popped on. If you wanna be treated fair and honest find another dealership because you won’t get that at James Mitsubishi in Rome N.Y.
