I did not hear the ad on the radio. I saw it on Facebook AND asked them specifically if it applied to people with bad credit. I was told "Yes". Not "maybe, we'd have to check with the bank". I was specifically told YES it would apply to me with terrible credit. Their website even says "Remember, if you have a job, you're approved!". All of these factors combined would lead a reasonable person to believe that, even with their poor credit, they would be able to take advantage of the promotion that was offered. I have a job with steady, verifiable income, so I should be approved. Their words. At best, they were extremely misleading. At worst, they are engaging in Bait & Switch marketing.

Revdex.com:
I want to clear up a few things and explain my situation start to finish. First back in late November my girlfriend started working at James cars of Rome in the office. She told them she might looking to buy a car. They tried to get her into a 2012 [redacted] for about 12,000 with interest at over 20%. I told her it wasn't a good idea. Then the manager had her ask me to Co sign for the car. I let them run my credit but I declined the deal. though the management gave her dealer plates and let her drive the car for the weekend to try to convince me to buy the car. I went into the dealership Monday to return the car and tell them I don't want or can I afford the car. The manager then became aggressive and said that I already bought the car. They had me fooled into thinking that I did buy the car because I signed for them to check my credit NOT THE SALES AGGREEMENT. I remember refusing to sign the contract after collecting my thoughts. But because of his aggression and intimidating selling tactics I thought I was stuck with the car. At one point the manager ran after me when I tried to leave and pushed me and raised his fist. As I was getting my phone charger out of the car and getting ready to leave the 2012 [redacted] in the parking lot and walk home. He ran outside and apologized to me. I fell for his apology and he told me he would make me A better deal. He took me in the office and said he would get me a better car for not much more money. A 2013 [redacted] EX-L. I thought it was 299$ for 5 years and I signed the contract. They told me they would deliver the car by Friday and give me the paperwork then. Friday came and I got the car but no paperwork. They said they would give it to my girlfriend [redacted] who just started working there in the office. I left them a review on Google and Facebook that they didn't like and they fired my girlfriend [redacted] for it. James the owner called me and said he would give me 865$ to remove the review. OK. Now my girlfriend is fired and I don't have paperwork. I went to the bank and they gave me the paperwork and that's when I learned that the loan was for 7 years at 299 not 5 years. All in all I didn't want to buy a car nor can I afford. I am considering doing a voluntary repossession but I believe James Mitsubishi of Rome scammed me and should rewind the deal. I don't want the car and never did. The manager was intimidating me and caused me to not think clearly. Please help.

I did sign paperwork but I didn't get any copy. They said they would give it to me when they finish things on their end. The car was for my girlfriend to use.
