I had been working with [redacted] ***, sales manager on a four runner through the internet today, 01/14/ In corresponding with him, we have come close to the numbers needed to close the dealOnce arriving at the dealership - the numbers changed and I was bringing in way more than what was discussedI understand not all numbers can be exact; however, I am a repeat customer (from 2016) and the exact same thing happened to me in In I thought it was a fluke so I went forward with the purchase and didn't think much of it until this time around purchasing a vehicle I don't feel the dealership was willing to work with the numbers providedmy financing was already in place outside of their dealership and although I said that initially when negotiating on the priceonce I arrived at the dealership, it was brought to my attention that if "in house" financing would be done, the numbers on the vehicle would go downthat is so absurd to meand a shamI believe this dealership works with you on the internet to get you in the door and then flips prices on you to try get a deal doneVery dishonest and unprofessional and I plan to write the owner to the dealership - Jay Wolfe and family to express my views on this If you are going to make quotes online you should be able to back up what you quote when a client comes to your dealership not trick them to get them in the doorIn being an existing customer and trying to give my repeat business I would rather give it elsewhere after what I experienced (yet again)

This company sold me an extended warranty I did not needThe vehicle I purchased came with a 100,mile warranty they never disclosed to me, May I had troubles with the Hybrid/ Battery Vehicle, and I was still charged for this service, yet I did not get resolution to my problem

I purchased a used Ford Explorer from J Wolfe in the middle of March ( two months ago )
I paid for in advance for an upscale remote start for the Ford, The fob and key were supposed to be one not separate
They installed the cheaper one @ $55.00+tax less than the one I had ordered
I paid in advance for a new brake technology @ $+ tax
They forgot to install the brake system when I dropped it off for service
When I dropped it off for service to have the brakes, remote start and satellite radio installed ( no issues with the radio ) I mentioned to the Technician that the wiper blades were old and cracked, he said he would check them out and replace at no charge if needed, it was needed and he did
I have been calling and stopping in trying to get my rebate money from them for months and have gotten the run around each time I ask, They say the check is in the mail from the corporate office, no check has arrivedI call again and they say they will check into it and

We have checked the customer’s vehicle on three different occasions in regards to the noise (knock) that the customer heard after he purchased the vehicle. We were not able to duplicate the noise but we performed an upper end engine clean for carbon deposits at no charge as a customer
courtesy. On a separate occasion we changed the spark plugs brought in by the customer at no charge. Mr*** has driven the vehicle for 25,miles as of September and I’m sure more by nowwithout any adverse engine effect which is not indicative of excessive movement in a wrist pin. No one will breakdown the engine of a vehicle without proper diagnosis or a specific problemThe customer has also installed an aftermarket exhaust system which also makes some excessive noise. We have also offered to have the customer trade in the vehicle but we have no control of the market value or the payoff. We have made every attempt to assist and satisfy the customer with his concerns

still trying to take care of him regardless
Thank you

I purchased a Tacoma from the dealer I was pre approved for credit via my local credit union and was given an approval code to bring to the dealer I told the sales rep and finance manager this as part of the purchasing process I was presented with a Toyota Credit application and was told I had to fill it out as part of the sales precess from the sales rep I pushed back twice that I didn't want their financing and was told that I had to fill out the form as part of the process of obtaining the title for the vehicle? This was the explanation from the finance department, not the sales rep I did fill out the form, and checked my credit report and the dealer ran my credit several times even with me being approved My credit scores dropped as a result of this unnecessary inquiries

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:The car was diagnosed by a Certified Cadillac Dealer with a "POSSIBLE" bad wrist pin and a tear down is/was the only way to tell exactly what part(s) are badIn no way did the repair order stated that this indeed is the only partFurther, (2) of YOUR technicians agreed that something else inside the motor was going on. As of this date, the car is still knocking and I have video/ audio to prove itIt is not related to a carbon buildup as stated in your responseYour company cleaned carbon deposits twice and the problem still remains so that tells me it is not a CARBON DEPOSIT issue like you said and believe As stated before, This issue was noticed immediately after delivery and well documented. I noticed this noise a full months BEFORE the exhaust was installed and the problem has nothing to do with itTo suggest a engine knock sounds the same as the rumbling of an exhaust is an insult to my intelligence .Your company DID offered to buy the car back from me for what amounts to peanuts

I traded in my Toyota Matrix for a Toyota CorollaThe next day I returned to cancel the sale and was told there was a state required day period before anyone can cancelI contacted the Missouri Department of Revenue and told there was no such requirementI contacted Jay Wolfe Toyota again to explain what the DOR said and was told my Matrix was sold

I started receiving calls and voicemail messages from a number I did not recognize well over a month agoThe messages were for a "*** ***" (my name is ***) from Jay Wolfe ToyotaI ignored the first couple but they kept calling and leaving the same message so I tried calling backI got a recorder so I left a message explaining that this was the wrong number being called and asking that it please stopI continued getting calls from the same person looking for the same wrong person at my number and even tried calling back again shortly after one of them and again left a message asking for the calls to ceaseI am still receiving these calls and cannot seem to get them to stopThis is harassment and this business needs to stop

On October 2018, I brought my Toyota 4Runner in to Jay Wolfe Toyota of West County for its 30,000-mile maintenanceThat maintenance was advertised on Jay Wolfe's website as $When I arrived at Jay Wolfe, I was told that that maintenance was actually $This was the exact same maintenance as mentioned on the website--they did not find any repairs that needed to be madeI showed the clerk the price on Jay Wolfe's website, and he did nothing to change itI left a review on Jay Wolfe's Facebook page, and on October, their public relations manager contacted meI have not heard from her since, and my debit card has not been credited

MR***,After speaking to few employees in the dealership who were involved in your vehicle purchase explained to me what happenedWhen you came in the next day considering the option of cancelling the deal, you ended up changing your mind and indicated that this was your decision and not your
Grandfather, so you and the co-buyer decided to keep the carThree days later, you came in and spoke to the used car manager and told him that you wanted to return the car, he then told you that there is no return policy on cars, however, if you would like to trade your vehicle in, you can do that after you pay the taxes (which were part of the financing) and then the car gets registered which at that time could take about daysAt no point in time, did any one mention that you can return a car after days since there is no such thing as a return policy on car purchases new or usedi hope this clarifies things for you and if you are still interested in trading the vehicle, we can assist you soonYour paperwork have been finalized by us and the bank. Thank you. Management

The issue has been resolved and the record has been updated. There was a mistake in the phone number on file and we have reached out to Mr. [redacted] and we were able to correct the record and Mr. is satisfied at this point.  Thank you.  [redacted] General Manager.

Mr. [redacted],We have attempted to call you and text you multiple times and you didn't respond to either of the calls or the texts. I need to hear from you directly so we can either deliver the check or over night it to you. you also have the option to pick it. It's been ready since the 18th of May. I am trying to make sure that you get it to avoid any other issues. We apologized fort the miscommunication about the installation and we didn't mean for that to happen, we install over 60 of these every month and don't have any issues.  I will actually put one on for free and schedule it for you myself. please let me know what you prefer to do and if you choose to have the brake light feature installed for free, we can hand you the check, otherwise, we will over night or deliver it to you. Thank you.. [redacted]
