pleased about everything!
I highly recommend Jeeves Handyman Services. They came out and looked at my bathroom. I was happy and didn't expect such good work with remodeling! Thank you and congratulation on the work done fantabulous!

Deck work
Awful service, they are supposed to work on my deck which took them a week just to change the deck boards. The contract was to change the joist hanger change the deck board and stain the deck board only. Without installing the joist hanger the technician said the jobs were done. the people at the office are good for nothing as well when I ask them why is this one guy coming every day changing two boards a day. she said because that's how he likes to do his jobs. It seems to I didn' hire a company I hired a handyman and paying the handy monthly salary .the most beautiful part is the company owner MARK is one arrogant person who didn't have the courtesy to call and resolve any issue. He was hiding behind the front desk lady Mellisa, such a wimp. It's been 3 weeks and the job still not done yet but they said it's done. Not only that left trash everywhere on my yard for the last 3 weeks

Kept to agreed prices, on time, polite - and problems fixed

Work start was delayed by a day due to bad weather but the job was still completed on time, as planned and we were kept informed of plans at all timesStandard of work is great and sound advice was given about after careWould recommend these guys to anyone

These cartridge are internal or inside the pipes of the bath wall I try to resolve my customer complaint with Mark, Supervisor of Technicians, but he was extremely rude, unprofessional and condensing I was shock how it talked to me He said it does work!! I try to explain to him, yes the tub water works but there is NO hot water from Boeis' initial visit when taking a shower Boeis replaced the [redacted] single handle cartridge inside the wall, Boeis is responsible for ensuring HOT water is continuous from the shower as well as the tub And this has NOT happen Yes, I told the company the tub water works but NOT the shower water This is my second call to ask you to FIX the HOT water coming from the shower Your handyman representative installed the cartridge incorrectly or something could be blocking the hot water Revdex.com, I had no problem getting hot water prior to Jeeves visit from the tub and shower Due to Mark's rudeness and consistently suggesting, call another plumber, we will not come back for free Its best for you to call someone else per Mark I said may I speak to your supervisor Mark stated, call back Monday morning to speak to the boss We can offer you percent discount only I said this is unacceptable the job is not fixed properly So I called back on Monday afternoon and first spoke to the female secretary (I believe Brittney) She said all their work is under warranty She passed the phone to Mark, I asked Mark can I speak with his boss as you asked me to call back? He stated, I explained the situation to the manager and he agrees with me Call someone else, MsHenderson Once again, I asked Mark, WHY should I call another plumber when I have paid you in full? Contacted the company to schedule an appointment for a repairman to look at the work ahead of time The dispatcher was more eager to simply get someone to my home and not so worried about the scope of the repair They made a big deal by stressing that since I live in Washington, DC and have no dedicated parking that they would charge time spent trying to find a place to park The repairman arrived in the two-hour window but did not have the required materials The repairman said he didn't have the money to buy the materials and didn't know what he was going to do It may have been my imagination but it surely seemed that he was hinting I should give him money to purchase the materials After minutes he found a Home Depot that was mile away He left to get the materials and returned minutes later The repair was a large drywall repair When the work was completed I noticed that the repairman had failed to use fiberglass tape to provide the necessary structure and the drywall compound was sagging Not wanting to deal further with the repairman, I told him to leave the work alone and I would finish the work later He then needed a pen to complete the invoice, then overcharged me until I corrected him In the end, he cleaned everything up and walked out with my pen! Insult to injury

charge service call for her, but before the date of the service call came she had called us back to cancel this appointmentShe assured us that she was mistaken (her son had told her bad information) and that everything was working perfectlyWe have documentation of thisWe are prepared to come to the house to fix the problem she is having, but this is a separate issue to the original jobWe offered a 25% discount on any labor we perform for her.

They gave us an agreement and backed out of it last minute requesting a higher price. In a phone conversation, we gave them all kinds of chances to honor our agreement but they refused and eventually hung up.

I used the services of Jeeves Handyman about 3 weeks ago. He remodeled my bathroom. He did interior painting and some plumbing. He was fast. He actually suggested some of the changes that I had done so it worked out really well.I would use him again in the future.

      Mr. Boeis fixed the water from continuous running.  Boeis accomplished this by replacing the [redacted] internal cartridge inside the wall that controls hot and cold tub water AND hot and cold shower water.   When lifting the lever for the shower, NO, repeat absolutely NO hot water comes out since Boeis repaired the value.  Prior to him coming out, there was HOT water each and every day from this shower!   These cartridge are internal or inside the pipes of the bath wall.

Review: Jeeves Handyman Services replaced shingles that had fallen off in early January. Within approximately 6 weeks, the exact same shingles became loose, then quickly fell off again. We received several estimates from roofing companies after this, all of which indicated that no caulking had been used to secure the shingles, which resulted in the shingles falling off again. All of the roofing contracters that looked at our roof indicated the work was done extremely poorly. Contact with Jeeves has not proved successful with receiving a refund. They stated that they will provide a refund only after we have the project fixed by another company, which makes absolutely no sense. We have photograph proof, as well as estimates that prove the poor workmanship.Desired Settlement: We would like a full refund BEFORE we go and pay someone else for the job that they did poorly.

We have spoken with this customer several times about this project. Each time we have told the customer that we would be more than happy to refund the $118, provided one of two things happens:

1- They take before and after pictures and make the repairs themselves (which they have claimed they can do) to show us that there was a problem with out work, or

2- They provide us with a receipt from another company who fixes the work that we did.

Essentially the problem is that we do not believe that there is anything wrong with the work. The customer has made multiple claims that the work was done wrong, but when we sent out crew out to look after the work was done, there was no problem. Each time that we have spoken with this client, he has used profane laguage, yelled at our customer service representatives, and been incredibly obscene. If the work really was done wrong, we have NO problem refunding the money, however the customer's unwillingnes to provide us with one of the above two options leads us to believe that they are complaining with no intention of having the work re-done (as there is nothing really wrong) and trying to get a refund so the work will be free for them. We provided a service, as we just want proof that this service needed to be corrected by someone else before we refund any money.

One of our customer service reps even offered at one point to refund half of the $118 as a good faith gesture that the work will be redone by the customer, and that the other half would be refunded after the work was corrected, and that offer was met with cursing and profanity by the customer. If the customer is able to prove that the work needed to be redone, we will refund the money immediately. Iff they are going to leave the work done as I because there is nothing wrong with the work we did, then we will not refund the money because we do not work for free.

I am rejecting this response because: The company seems to think there is a not a problem with the work, yet we have provided them with a written estimate and photographs that prove that there is indeed a problem. The workman who came out did not find an issue because the shingles had not blown off yet. They were, however, flapping on windy days, which the workmen did not see because it was not windy that day. They acted insulted that we even implied that the work was done improperly, so I don't even know how thorough the inspection was. The company denied our request for different workmen at that time.. When the shingles blew off 2 weeks later, and concern was brought to the office, they responded with "Also, please email me receipt or invoice

form roofing company that did or will redo what we did, with note that specify

the area that they repaired." We provided them with proof of what the company WILL REDO, in the form of a written estimate and photographs. It was not requested by Jeeves at that time that we provide a paid receipt. They requested this later. The photograph provided showed that the damage was, in fact, the same place that was repaired by this company in the first place. We provided the evidence that was originally requested, and then the company requested more evidence in the form of a payment from a company who is coming to fix the work. Why should we have to provide more evidence, when we have already provided the original evidence requested, that proved the workmanship is poor? Of course we do not expect free work, that is absurd. However, we are back at square one, with the same shingles missing and damaged, which is what we paid for in the first place. We essentially paid for a service that was not done correctly, so essentially we have paid for NOTHING. If the reason for not giving us the refund is because the company does not believe there is damage, then they are completely wrong in that aspect, because we have already provided them with proof that something of the damage. This does not change the fact that we should get the refund BEFORE we pay MORE money to fix the job that they could not competently complete. Evidence in the form of an estimate and photograph is attached and is the same evidence that this company had requested and did receive from us already. We will accept nothing less than a full refund as a result of the evidence that we already have provided.

Review: I called this Company to schedule an appointment at 1000 am, however I received a confirmation e-mail for 8am. I told the operator that I would not be home at 8 am, and that was not the agrred upon time. I was promptly told that it was time that was given to me, and that he (the operator) should no because he booked the appointment. The conversation quickly went South after that because I did not like the way I was talked to, and I told the operator he would not continue to talk to me in that manner as I was the one paying for services. He told me that there was a last minute cancellation fee of 100.00 and asked me how I intended to pay. I hung up the phone.

I came home later that morning to see if anyone was going to come to our home, I even had my husband watching the cameras via smart phone outside of our home to see if I would get a "visit". No one came and I thought that my whole ordeal was over with this company. At 11:45 I received a call from there "officer manager" who relayed the same thing that the initial operator relayed to me. I told her that I was not going to pay a last minute cancellation fee, and she should thank her unprofessional employee for me not wanting their services. I was told "Oh well, you owe us $100.00, I told her that I was not going to pay it, and hung up the phone. She called back, and stated "I think you hung up on me". I told (Alexandra N[redacted] ###-###-####) the officer manager not to call my home anymore and if she continued I was going to call the [redacted] County Police Department. Alex proceeded to call my home back to back 10 times until I blocked the number. My husband was on [redacted] with me at the time from Afghanistan, and he even got fed up and gave them a call. My husband relayed the same thing that I relayed that we were going to call the police if they did not leave us alone. After that exchange is when the e-mails started. I did not cancel at the last minute, I was home during the appointment time and no one came to render services at 1000 AM. My neighbors will verify and I will dispute your claim in addition, I have cameras on my property to further dispute your claim. Your company lacks professionalism and when I did receive a call at 11:45 and I told you I would not accept your crap you called my house 10 times in the span of 3 minutes. Verizon can verify that fact as well to based on my AWESOME Fios incoming calls log. Feel free to attach a copy of this e-mail to your collections claims as I will be attaching a copy of this with my dispute. Thanks!

I would be happy to attach any and all of the above. I was simply calling because you kept hanging up on me and it is my job to collect money owed to my company. You also cursed at me, threatened me, and your husband then threatened my co-worker. We have witnesses to that as well.

In addition, we never claimed to come to your home. You called to initially to say you would not be home until 8:20 am, which we said was fine. Then you called AGAIN to say 10, which we also said was fine, then FINALLY you said to cancel or move the appointment to another day, which falls within our 24 hour cancellation policy. We also have wonderful phone records and a voicemail from you attesting to that.

Like I said, the invoice stands as it is. After 30 days, it is out of my hands and into collections it goes. Have a great weekend.

I am not arguing or harassing, just letting you know that what you did is a last minute cancellation. I was well within my rights to attempt to contact you repeatedly, as you owe this company money. As for you being to educated to curse or threaten me, I guess I lost that when you yelled at me and slammed the phone...several times. Not further contact is necessary. And you can judge me based on working for a small, local company, but I guarantee you that not only have I finished a higher level of education than you have (unless you have above a Masters) but I know for a fact that you are a lying, manipulative and rude woman...and that is just from my minimal interactions with you.

You are one of those people who has no respect for local business, or for other people's valuable time (you claim your time is valuable, but considering you were sitting around on a typical work day, I would venture to guess it really is not) Again, consider yourself blocked, our contact terminated, and please know my day has been quite entertained by your delusions that you did nothing wrong. This was bullying and harassment at it's best, and it was an under handed tactic in trying to get 100.00 out of me due to their lack of professionalism.Desired Settlement: I want an letter explaining their customer service policy, in this letter an explanation of services not rendered and what that means to them. Additionally I wold like an apology for the harassment and bullying tactics that they tried to utilize to garner 100.00.

Thank you so much for a great looking bathroom. I have recommended you to so many people and have had lots of counters, fixtures, and toilets put in by you. I also use the bath shop for all these needs and have sent many friends out there as I feel you are superb to deal with.
