During my first phone call with Hunter I told him I would NOT be purchasing a camper from you all and apologized for any inconvenience It should have ended there But NO, he continued to call and email That is not doing his job, that is harassment I emailed him after we purchased a camper locally, thinking that would end the phone calls and emails But NO, it did NOT He emailed and called meREALLY?! I called you, MrCouch, to explain and get it to stop Before I could say much at all you started cussing at me and told ME to leave HIM aloneSeriously??????? My phone and email logs show him not leaving Me alone You did NOT offer to remove me from your listYou called me a [redacted] * several times and prior to hanging up on me you called me a [redacted] *!

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.] Regards, [redacted]

Business called and stated he is trying to help this customer but he has to be willing to take this to a dealership Under the warranty, the work has to be done at a dealership or if not, the manufacturer will cover the work but not the service call The business suggested that he gets
an estimate, pays the service call up front and he will reimburse him later for itThe customer cursed him out He even offered the customer to bring it back to him He understands the customer is frustrated and is willing to do what it takes to resolve this but the customer has to be flexible He said to use this as his response

First of all the rv purchase price wasnt even close to the $103,that was statedThe complainant was in a car accidentThings are going to break in an accidentThe Hitch is a 20k Reese hitchPlenty of hitch for the rv that was purchasedReese is a well know manufacture and not a cheap
knock off, like was statedI dont believe the issue lies with Jeff Couchs RV NationThe hitch was installed correctlyAlso, not sure if the complainant has turned anything into his insurance companyIf so, Im sure the hitch was reimbursed along with the damage to the truckPlease let us know if you need any further information

I'm sorry that you feel this way about your experience. We sell thousands of campers around the world and never receive these kind of complaints. That being said, Hunter was just doing his job by following up on your inquiry. He was also trying to explain that distance is
never a problem because our prices are always cheaper than the local dealer. After cussing at him and hanging up he was simply calling back to get some clarification on what went wrong in the phone call. When you called me you were angry and yelling and I wasn't able to speak much. I offered to remove you from our system which was done immediately. Again, I apologize that you feel this way and please contact me if we can help with your future purchase. Kind regards, Jeff Couch

Regards,
*** *** I am sorry that *** feels he has to lie.I was never given a choice of a shipper and this is pure fabrication on Jeff's part.I did not accept the trailer as undamaged. It was pointed out and the shipper said it would be taken care of.I was promised and I can supply emails from *** that he would take care of it.I was sent a check by the shipper for the damages. He signed it to *** and *** sent it to me instead of cashing it and mailing or etransferring it to me.WhenI called him he told me to sign his name and cash it I could not do this as it was unlawful and I could face forgery charges.I sent the check back to *** to fix and he refused to have anything to do with it.This should tell you something about his honesty..He is correct in saying that the shipper refuses to make contact with either of us.However contrary to his saying I had a choice of shipper I find he is still liable for the damages. He sold me a damaged Rv and We have no proof it was not that way direct from his dealership..Thank you for keeping me informed..*** ***

Unfortunately the customer is not telling the full story Called with problem and he was given given authorization by company to fix problem and they would allow to take care of problemHe then F&i es problem and asked for more than what was authorized by And expects my company
to pay the remainder of billI could have forced him to bring back product to dealership by the rules of the manufacturer which state that all warranty work is done at purchasing dealer facility but tried to make convenient for customerInstead he gets over charged and blames this on my company and expects me to overpayHe new what he allowed to spend to fix or he could bring it back and he would have no chargeInstead I paid out of my pocket to help him and now he is going to act like I was not helping himVery unfortunate but cNnot and will not pay for being over chargedIf you have any questions call Jeff couch at ***Thanks for your help in this matter

In response to ***'s complaint, admittedly yes, Charles did ask for the phone number of the location that installed the brake controller so he could try to understand why they would have told her that her jeep could not tow the camper, even though the published specs on the jeep by the
manufacturer show a 4500lb towing capacity which is much less than the dry weight of the camper or the loaded weight Ultimately, As I explained to ***, The reason we were keeping her $was not that we were trying to play hard ball or force her into buying, but because she signed a purchase agreement, to order a camper from RV Nation and that in good faith we ordered a $16,camper with just a $deposit Furthermore, we performed a pre-delivery inspection on the camper, filled the lp tanks with propane added a battery and cleaned and detailed the camper Now we have the camper left in inventory were we will have to find another buyer, and re-clean and re-detail the camper after it is sold RV Nation has incurred much more in cost than the $500, but yet we still will gladly apply ***'s deposit at a later date or to a different camper In, closing Charles has attempted to reach *** via phone but to no avail I have also made attempts to reach out to *** and left a message for her to return my call, but with no response I have copies of the signed purchase agreement that states non-refundable on camper orders, and can provide a copy if necessary

*** with business stated the customer purchased a camper from them and asked for a shipper They provided a list and she picked one The shipper picked up the RV, confirmed there was not damage and took it to Canada to the customer When it arrived, it was damaged The customer signed acknowledging there wasn't damage and paid for the transport Now the shipping company's insurance won't pay for the damage This isn't *** Couchs RV Nation's fault They didn't do the damage The estimate the customer received was for $ *** Couchs RV Nation tried to help the customer by contacting the shipper but he won't return their calls either *** Couchs RV Nation has no responsibility for the damage since it left their facility without any damageRevdex.com*** ***

The check from the warranty company was received on Monday, August 1st and mailed to Mr*** on Tuesday, August 2ndHe should receive the check within two days. After the cancellation of the warranty by Mr***, it was the Warranty Company's responsibility to determine the amount of
money that will be refundedOnce the warranty company determines the amount of the refund it sends that amount to me and I immediately forward it to the customerIn this case I had to wait until the warranty company made its determination and I received its checkUpon receipt of the refund I forward the entire amount to the customer in the most expeditious manner *** ***

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]Revdex.com,Every word I have stated in the previous document and this one is true. Not myself, nor my contractor were ever told of a $allowance to cover repairs. As a former owner of a construction company, I am well capable of performing all of the repairs that were done to my RV, and in fact did assist my contractor. In fact I was told to get a contractor to do the work, because if I did the work it would void my warranty because I was not licensed If the $allowance were true, I would have still done all of the repairs myself and been reimbursed so as to not incur any out of pocket expense. Why would I accept the cost of repairs by a contractor if I didn't know that I would be covered? I wouldn't. I would not want to pay out of pocket $for items that are covered under warranty as the owner had assured us both, because his workers were the ones that caused the damage to the washer and RV. I would have made the repairs myself if I thought I would incur out of pocket expenses. It's not logical to have a bill over the $and expect payment from the owner if I would have known of said "$allowance". I of course expect reimbursement from the owner as complete coverage was his word and contract. I and my contractor spent upwards of hours on the phone in over calls, never to get a response or call back from the service manager himself or the owner for days. I never thought I was overcharged and never blamed his company for anything other than not honoring their word or contract. Jeff, the owner himself, is the one that told me I was overcharged and that I got f...ed by my contractor, and that he was pissed and was not going to pay the bill. In fact, at that time, he said "I will pay for the cleaning and throw $more dollars at it, but that's all I'm giving you. I'm pissed now." and promptly hung up on me. In fact he did not even pay what he said at that point either, and only sent me the $after all. My contractor can attest to the validity of this injustice. It would have been incomprehensible to pull the RV from Tennessee to Ohio to replace two hoses and two fittings. The owner could have ordered the parts and sent them but refused and told my contractor to find them locally. That would have saved him some money. The service manager could have returned any of our calls but instead did not and delayed the repairs for days. His company not returning our calls is one reason the price of repairs was driven up. My contractor did not even charge for the full amount of time he spent on the phone with Jeff Couch's RV Nation. Thank you for your assistance with this issue

We have resolved all the issues involved with this complaint this morning

The rv, as you can see from the purchase agreement, is $90,Not a lieIrrelevantFrom the hitch stand point, a 20k reese fifth wheel hitch was installedAll paper work from the hitch manufacture, was placed inside the vehicleAlso, labeled on the hitch itself, is the manufactureDont even know what a knock off hitch consist ofWe sell close to campers a year, not sure why would try to hide something from a customerAs stated before, in an automobile accident, things are going to breakThe hitch was installed correctly by specsAs all of ours are

I have the half of receipt which shows the hitch put on after purchase-which they have listed as "counter"- the price listed is $1495.They put this on the our RV before we picked it up.I called the body shop and still waiting on letter and pictures.Thank you*** ***

We still have not addressed the issue of the owner of a company using vulgar language--is this the norm for business customer service????He also kept stating that we never paid $103,for our RV- which is a lie!!We had them put on the hitch -- never received a receipt for it- we don't know what kind they put received no paperwork at all about the hitch or what the manufacturer states that we got a reputable hitch--we don't know- it could have been a knock off brand! We can get a statement if needed from the shop that repaired our truck about the hitch that his RV dealership put on --the brackets were too small and the bolts were also too small and could not have held that RV!!They just put on our total bill that they charged us for a hitch--$No details about the hitch at all!!If he can lie about what we paid for our RV -- he can lie about the after market hitch-- he probably doesn't even know what kind they put on- was he over seeing his guys put the hitch on--NO!!
