*** request for a refund of her deposit has been processed as expediently as possible Ms*** made her deposit via debit card, and as I am sure you are aware, electronic refunds are generally processed and funds returned to the debit card on the customer's bank account within business days In refunding Ms*** deposit, the interval of bank processing occurred, as these types of transactions are not instantaneous. We are disappointed that Ms*** was unhappy with her experience We feel that with the customary patience and understanding, Ms*** interaction with Jersey Motors Incwould have been agreeable and mutually satisfying Thank you for your consideration in this matter If you require further information, please contact me

Hello,In regards the complaint I've filed ( #***); Jersey Motors has cooperated fully with me as of yesterday (6/11/15) and I feel as the the complaint has been satisfiedThank you for your helpI really appreciate it.Sincerely,

This is in response to the complaint against Jersey Motors
Mr*** ***l purchased a Mazda Miata from my company on March 8th, The year old vehicle was purchased on an "as is" status To correct Mr***s allegations, the 90-day after market/third
party power train warranty was given to the customer as a good faith gesture This warranty only covers all internal parts of transmission, engine and axelsPlease note the customer did not pay for this warranty as he had stated
On March 10th, *** and his mother contacted us and claimed that according to their mechanic, the catalytic converter was bad Having been in business for over years, we stand by our vehicles and are more than willing to go the extra step to ensure the customer has been given a safe and reliable vehicle Although this part is not at all covered in the warranty, Jersey Motors fixed the catalytic converter At this point, the customer took the car back and successfully passed the NY state inspectionFurthermore, Mr*** accused us of tampering with the check engine lights in order to complete the saleJersey Motors does not tamper or perform any such activity or actions in our business practiceHe appeared satisfied and confident after the resolution
On March 22nd, Mr*** and his mother brought back his car with the complaint that the EGR valve was also badPlease note this part is not covered under the warrantyThe customer's mother became very agitated and rudeAt this point, we offered to buy back the car but he insisted that he wanted to keep itWe offered to diagnose and resolve the problem and in good faith offered a loaner vehicle, which the customer accepted We were given the vehicle on Saturday and delivered it to the Meineke Shop where the catalytic converter was repaired weeks priorAt that point, Meineke confirmed that EGR valve was not an issue at the time of catalytic repairThis is a new problemWe decided to take the car to our mechanic to diagnose and replace the EGR valveHe, of course, could not complete the repair in the late hours on Saturday All parties agreed that the vehicle would remain at the mechanics in order to be worked on the next business day And yes, we did ask for the proper proof of insurance for the loaner as deemed necessary by our practice Apparently, this was an inconvenience to Mr*** We had agreed that Jersey Motors would call the customer Monday, 3/24, early afternoon with an update on the repairs
On Monday, March 24th at 2pm, Jersey Motors received a fax from an attorney, *** ***, clearly a family member of Mr*** ***l, accusing us of claims and threatening us with fraud and fees Please note we only had the car since Saturday in which our mechanic did not look at it and we are closed on Sunday Mr*** was unreasonable and had unrealistic expectations He tried to bully us with his legal letterhead Jersey Motors has always put customer service as a priority and pride ourselves on our reputation Upon speaking to *** Tuesday afternoon, *** and *** came to an understanding that Jersey Motors is working on the car as we had previously agreed the customer had the loaner vehicle to minimize his inconvenience The harassing phone calls and impatience of the customer and his family were to subside
On Wednesday, March 26th, Mr***s mother came into our location with the Hasbrouck Heights Police demanding her son's vehicle back She accused Jersey Motors of "refusing to give her son his car back." The mother's accusations were illogical and clearly unfounded Her story did not match anything that we had discussed with her son, *** At this point, she insisted on taking the car even though our mechanic was in the process of repairing the problem Again, please note that the police, the mechanic and Jersey Motors staff witnessed this situation
On Tuesday, April 1st, we received notification from Merchant Services, our credit card processing company, that Mr***s mother had stopped payment on the credit card charges for the vehicle purchase Please note the customer still has Jersey Motors vehicle(Mazda Miata) and title This fraudulent action has placed Mr*** and his mother in the possession of what is now a stolen vehicle
It is unfortunate that Mr***s experience with Jersey Motors was unsatisfactory However, we tried with much effort to please this customer but his mother and family member attorney were unreasonable and unfair to Jersey Motors We have been business for over years, sold thousands of vehicles, and pride ourselves on our great customer service We have never had a Revdex.com complaint

This vehicle was paid off and we were waiting on a title and lien release for this car. The bank lost the title and had to produce a title (which was out of state and took some time) and then sign off as the lien holder. I am extremely sorry that it took so long, but New Jersey law allows us...

to issue up to 2 (30) day temporary tags, for issues like this one, they are aware of how certain things that are out of my dealerships control, which we did issue 2 temps so that the customer was not inconvenienced and was still able to drive the car.  The title was sent to me on Friday November 4th to which the customer was made aware of this and picked up the title on Saturday November 5th. Again it is unfortunate that it took so long, but this was not something that we could just go over the counter and get ourselves. Unfortunately we had to rely on the New Car dealership that we purchased the car from.

UNFORTUNATELY THIS WAS AN ERROR TO WHICH THE PERSON WHO ENTERED IT ONLINE MADE A MISTAKE, WHICH WE INFORMED YOU OF THAT DAY. WE ARE NOT IN THE BUSINESS OF GIVING CARS AWAY. SOMETIMES PEOPLE MAKE MISTAKES, WHICH THIS PERSON DID, SO I TRULY APOLOGIZE FOR THAT, BUT IN NO WAY WAS THIS A...

MISREPRESENTATION. WE HAVE BEEN IN BUSINESS FOR OVER 24 YEARS. I'M SORRY THAT APPARENTLY YOU HAVE NEVER MADE A MISTAKE, BUT THERE IS NO LAW THAT STATES WE HAVE TO EVEN SELL YOU THE CAR. SO IF YOU WERE UNHAPPY WITH THE EXPERIENCE, AGAIN I APOLOGIZE FOR THE WORKERS ERROR. NO ONE SAID YOU HAD TO PURCHASE MY VEHICLE. I WISH YOU THE BEST LUCK IN THE FUTURE AS YOU SHOP FOR A CAR. HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY.

THIS CUSTOMER PURCHASED THE CAR ON 4/22/2016. HE DID NOT PAY FOR THE CAR IN FULL UNTIL 5/13/2016. THE STATE OF NJ ALLOWS DEALERSHIPS TO ONLY ISSUE 2 TEMPORARY TAGS. THIS CUSTOMER WAS ALREADY ON HIS 2ND TAG, WHICH WAS EXPIRING ON 6/20 AT MIDNIGHT.  HE DID GET A CALL ON FRIDAY, WHEN HE TITLE CAME...

BACK FROM DMV, AROUND 5:30, TO WHICH THE DEALERSHIP IS OPEN UNTIL 6:30.  HE CAME IN ON SATURDAY MORNING 6/18 TO PICK UP HIS TITLE, WHICH THERE ARE 2 LOCAL DMV AGENCIES ABOUT 5 MINUTES AWAY FROM THE DEALERSHIP. HE DEMANDED ANOTHER TEMP TAG, WHICH BY LAW I CAN NOT DO, WHICH I EXPLAINED TO HIM WHY I CAN NOT DO IT.  HE THEN BEGAN TO SCREAM AND CURSE AT THE OFFICE MANAGER. SHOUTED THROUGHOUT THE SHOWROOM, AND THEN TURNED TO ONE OF THE SALES REPS AND CURSED HIM OUT.  THE LAW IN NJ ONLY STATES THAT WE MUST GET THE TITLE TO THE CUSTOMER WITHIN 60 DAYS, WHICH WE DID. THIS IS JUST AN IRATE, RUDE, & IRRATIONAL PERSON, JUST LOOKING FOR ANY EXCUSE TO COMPLAIN. MY DEALERSHIP DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG HERE. HE RECEIVED HIS TITLE IN A TIMELY FASHION.

I THOUGHT I ALREADY RESPONDED BY SAYING THAT NJ LAW REQUIRES US TO ONLY PRODUCE A TITLE WITHIN 60 DAYS AND YOU GOT YOUR TITLE BEFORE THE 60 DAYS. YOU WERE CALLED FRIDAY AROUND 5:30, BUT AGAIN WE ARE OPEN TILL 6:30.  YOU HAD TIME TO GO TO DMV ON SATURDAY (OPEN FROM 8 AM TO 1 PM) AS WELL AS MONDAY (OPEN FROM 8 AM TO 5:30 PM) THE 20TH BEFORE YOUR TEMP EXPIRED AT MIDNIGHT. I WILL NOT BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ANY EXPENSES THAT YOU INCUR, DUE TO THE FACT THAT YOU DIDN'T WANT TO GO TO DMV ON THOSE 2 DAYS. IT IS NOT OUR FAULT THAT THE DMV LINE IS LONG OR IT TAKES UP TOO MUCH OF YOUR TIME, THAT IS A COMPLAINT YOU MUST FILE WITH DMV NOT AGAINST US.  THE DEALERSHIP AGAIN CLOSES AT 6:30.  IT IS POSTED ON OUR DOORS THE HOURS OF OPERATION. WALLINGTON DMV IS OPEN UNTIL 1 NOT 12, YOU CAN LOOK IT UP ONLINE. YOU NEED TO GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE MAKING PHONY REPORTS ABOUT A DEALERSHIP! NEXT TIME I HOPE YOU DO NOT WALK INTO ANOTHER DEALERSHIP WITH AN ATTITUDE AND START SCREAMING AND CURSING AT PEOPLE, THEN GETTING IN YOUR CAR AND SPEEDING OFF.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I did in fact receive the title after I filed the complaint.  I bought the vehicle on 11/23/15. I understand regarding DMV, however, I should have been kept informed of the situation instead of always telling me that Nancy is only in on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  In any event, I will never do business again with this dealer.

This is the first time that I am hearing of this issue.  The title is fine, DMV is giving the customer a hard time for no reason, the original poa is fine, we use them all the time,  but we have contacted the original dealership and have received another poa. I did reach out to the...

customer today 11/28/16 and spoke to their son,I am waiting for a call back from the mother or father.  Unfortunately like I stated earlier, this is the first time I am hearing of this. Something that is an easy fix we would not let it get out of hand and this has already been taken care of I have the corrected poa for the customer.  The NJ law allows a dealer to issue up to 2 temporary tags. The original title was mailed to the customer and they received the title on 9/27, which the temp tag was still good, so why did they wait till this past Saturday to go to DMV? Had they went to DMV earlier this problem would have been fixed by now.

Nancy was away on vacation and did return today and spoke with the customer, he is coming in today to pick up his title as well as there is a balance owed on the car I am also writing off a portion of the balance owed for his inconvenience.  Thank you

This title was sent out ups and delivered and signed for by customer on 12/31/2015. Sarah did keep in contact as to the status of the title. It was a duplicate title issued by New York. We can not rush the process, DMV will not move any quicker for us as a dealer.

request for a refund of her deposit has been processed as expediently as possible.  Ms. [redacted] made her deposit via debit card, and as I am sure you are aware, electronic refunds are generally processed and funds returned to the debit card on the customer's bank account within 10 business days.  In refunding Ms. [redacted] deposit, the normal interval of bank processing occurred, as these types of transactions are not instantaneous. We are disappointed that Ms. [redacted] was unhappy with her experience.  We feel that with the customary patience and understanding, Ms. [redacted] interaction with Jersey Motors Inc. would have been agreeable and mutually satisfying.  Thank you for your consideration in this matter.  If you require further information, please contact me.

It is very unfortunate that this customer is not happy with her vehicle.  She purchased it on 12/6/16, picked up her title somewhere between 12/23/16 and 12/31/16, at no time did she mention that she had any issue or was upset.  Upon purchasing her vehicle she signed documents stating, "I...

UNDERSTAND THAT I AM WELCOME TO HAVE A MECHANIC CHECK MY VEHICLE PRIOR TO PURCHASE.  I ALSO UNDERSTAND THAT ALL VEHICLES ARE PRE-OWNED AND HAVE OR MAY HAVE $1000.00 OR MORE IN MAINTENANCE AND OR REPAIRS".  She also signed a BUYERS GUIDE stating that the vehicle was sold at wholesale price, so the car is sold AS-IS, WHERE IS, HOW IS, as well as signing an AS IS DEALER DISCLAIMER, which clearly states, “ The used motor vehicle is sold as is with out any warranty, either expressed or implied, the buyer will bear the entire expense of repairing or correcting any defects that may presently exist or that may occur in the vehicle. The dealer (seller) shall not have any responsibility for consequential damages, damages to property, damages for loss of use, loss of time, loss of profits, or income, or any other incidental damages with respect to any defect or malfunction or unfitness or other deficiency of this vehicle. The dealer makes no warranties, representation or assurances that this motor vehicle contains only original manufacturer installed or manufacturer rebuilt components parts or accessories”.  She also was offered an AUL Warranty at the time of sale, which she declined and signed the waiver of a warranty.  Prior to selling the vehicle we did do an oil change and replaced all ignition coils. This customer did in fact see the vehicle, which she had time to inspect the vehicle, tires included. She also signed off on the bill of sale in 2 spots that state the VEHICLE IS SOLD AS-IS, AS WELL AS "WAIVER OF DEALER'S OBLIGATION, WHICH STATES THE UNDERSIGNED, HAS READ AND UNDERSTOOD THE ABOVE DEALER'S OBLIGATION, AND DOES HEREBY WAIVE AND RELEASE THE DEALER'S OBLIGATION TO MAKE REPAIRS WITHOUT CHARGE OR RETURN THE FULL PURCHASE PRICE (IF SALE). Like I said before this is a very unfortunate situation, but we gave the customer ample time to have the vehicle inspected and to purchase a warranty at cost, which she declined.  It is unfortunate that you are not satisfied.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:the salesman gave me a quote with taxes and fees of 3500, and I was ready to pay with my [redacted] when all of a sudden, he gets a call on his cell phone and it's the boss saying it's 1000 more. Also, you had said the price is whatever is on line, which is what you need to sell it for. Also, you said you had over 40 inquiries about this truck , so if you had that many inquiries, if true, then you would have figured out that the price was a mistake long before we got there and would have rectified it. It was a bait and switch tactic and you know it. Also, you didn't even have the title to the truck and weren't sure when you could get it, which is absolutely wrong.
